Quick tip for anyone scrolling comments: I was in your place a few minutes ago. You decide to give up after the challenging 2nd measure with the 5lets into the herta. Slow down the video to 0.5x and work your way up. I went from not being able to play it to being able to record a clean rep at a faster tempo than written.

@@cactusfishy1596 Depends on what style you're playing. Scottish pipe band drumming requires a much looser grip than shown here so traditional grip is better
Feedback - for me on my device the audio & video are hopelessly out of sync which renders the lesson useless to me. That may of course just be my device/pathway whatever; just so’s you’s knows…

Swaggy Pea easier to learn, easier to line up hands, better range of motion, and uses more focused, and broader muscle groups.
