XD amazing. I run my own dnd game and i have this as my overworld music, my players have no idea. I also wrote Garr and Rei into the story as NPC's and gave them statblocks. They just think they are cool characters, but as you say: Uncultured swine.
I loved traipsing all over the place to this tune, really refreshing that they let you move throughout an overworld without battles to distract you from this pleasant sound.
Totally agree. They really nailed it with the way the random battles in the world map took place. Allowing you to enjoy this tune as much as you wanted.
Just finished it for the first time. I don't even have the words. They don't make them like this anymore. I still got 4 and the controversial Dragon Quarter left to play, but i'm already sad by the fact that this franchise is dead and there's no way it's crossing the desert of Resident Evil's and Monster Hunter's to ressurect.
Bof 3 and 4 don't need remakes, I would actually be against it. Maybe remasters and that's it. Bof3 is perfect the way it is. I enjoyed 4 almost the same. I'll leave the DQ without any comments for obvious reasons.

It briefly rose again as a shitty mobile game before returning to it's grave. I'm pretty sure that makes this franchise EXTRA dead.
