After seeing Sam so confident all season speaking French, it was kinda funny to watch him fumble German. That ß is a double s. I thought that was common enough knowledge that he’d know. Not hating. Just another thing I noticed upon rewatching.
1:00:30 because in Europe (for example Austria) you can get either tap water (mostly for free) or mineral water (for charge) also, here we do not have the tip culture so customer service in restaurants is not as good because the waiters are more often in a bad mood but the good thing you don't have to tip and they don't bother you the whole time

56:50 The irony of an american dissing public transport... 59:45 Lud, please stop lying. That is at best an anecdote, at worst Stockholm syndrom of a megalomania culture. And if you want water, just take it, its there in the tap for you to take. It's perfectly safe in most countries.
This didn’t bother me when I first watched the series but it’s bothering me upon this rewatch. Sam being able to travel between pulling the “go exactly one mile” card and actually completing the challenge felt a lot like cheating. It should have been exactly a mile from where he pulled the card. Even if the challenge had been something else, If you’re not allowed to pull a card while traveling, and if you veto you’re not allowed to travel, then you shouldn’t be able to travel while a a card has been pulled. Because otherwise what is to stop someone from going “I can’t do this challenge, but if I’m in veto jail here I’ll get caught, let me just travel and then do my veto jail in the next city where I am safe.”? Aaaaaand he did it again with the Berliner.
The point of challenges is that challenges earn you coins and coins can get you from city to city. If you don’t like a challenge and want a chance at a different one, you have to veto it and wait 30 minutes, but you don’t earn the coins from that challenge. While Ben, for example, tends to treat the rule that he must pull the card in the city, Sam and Adam have been shown not doing that if they can afford to get to the next city and if the card doesn’t specify whether or not it has to be completed in the city they are in. The Go One Mile challenge doesn’t specify that you have to do it as it is pulled so Sam was not cheating for doing it. He had the budget to get to Köln without doing the challenge in Brussels
@@finnrummygaming thanks for saying this well, was going to myself but this is indeed what they're going by. Hence why they were often getting cards while on the train or right before they get on.
The tasks are supposed to be interpreted in the most creative way, they drew inspiration from Taskmaster, so if it didn't say he had to go one mile from where he picked the card - that's not breaking any rules. What is against the rules is drawing a card while on transportation. Both Adam and Sam drew cards before they jumped on trains.

It’s not really “tag.” It’s more of a race where everyone has a different destination. But the taggers also know the runners destination, and have live trackers. I don’t really know how you can watch this series and come away with the conclusion these guys are bad at tag.
