    Pike Place Market was definitely one of the things we loved about Seattle the most. It's on the list of our favourite markets in the world, for sure! We wish we could have eaten more, but our bellies and wallets did not allow it, but we'll just have to come back in the future. Do you have a favourite vendor at Pike Place Market? Let us know in the comments if we missed anything amazing! In our next video we'll be back in Europe in a new country (and one of the smallest on the continent). Make sure to subscribe, so you don't miss it! Thanks a lot for watching! 😊 - Brandon & Anja

    Beechers is really popular in Seattle! We can get their cheese at just about any store up here. I think their actual cheese is better than their mac & cheese though, specifically the Flagship cheese!😍 And as a local in Seattle, I personally love Ivar’s Clam Chowder the best!!

      That's nice to hear!
      We would have loved to try some of their cheeses on their own, but we had so many leftovers from both this video and the previous one, that we couldn't justify it.
      We would have loved to try out those curds and make a poutine at home. Hahaha. 🇨🇦
      We tried Ivar's and a BUNCH of other local spots in the other video. You should check it out if you haven't already seen it. 😃

      We absolutely loved the West coast! We visited Vancouver before this, and had an amazing time as well. It's quite different to the East coast, where I'm from. The weather being so temperamental made it a bit difficult to film, but the greenery and mountains make up for it.
      So many great food spots and bars as well!
      Thanks for watching!

    As a local, the only reason I'd brave hanging out at the Market is for Beecher's, the Crumpet Shop, and the street performers. And Ivars clam chowder is the default. The Market was also an amazing second date spot (back when I was single)... "Lets pick up salmon and vegetables at the market, and I'll cook you dinner."

    Meatloaf sandwich was pretty fancy. Salmon pate probably did have cream cheese in it. People in the PNW will put cream cheese in anything. I find it odd in sushi rolls. My family is from NFLD, mom was the first born in US. I'm from Weymouth MA. Our clam chowder is on the thin side. Feel thick chowders have too much flour as a thickener. That was a lot of food!! Hi from sunny Oregon.

    • @wherearewe-yt
      @wherearewe-yt  Месяц назад

      I'm not really a fan of cream cheese in sushi either, even though I do love cream cheese. Cheese cake is probably my favorite dessert!
      The meatloaf sandwich was delicious. It was just really tough to eat because it was so big. Felt like we had to dislocate our jaw to get out mouth around it. Hahaha.
      That's awesome! I'm from Nova Scotia. Anja is German.
      I feel like it's own if it's thin, as long as it's stacked with seafood. The two we had in Seattle were good, but they didn't compare to what we recently had in Belfast. That thing was FILLED to the brim with fresh seafood. 😍
