You have the perfect machine for getting rid of rocks on the trail.

There are videos on RUclips of people putting a trailer hitch on their push blade on their excavator so they can carry tools and supplies around a job site or around their property.
Your videos that pop up under "excavator with trailer"
Cotton top 3 has a video how he welded his hitch onto his blade. by putting a hitch box on your blade you can use different types of hitches or different drop hitches according to your need.
There's also a lady called duckgirl 86 that has a nice wheeled excavator she drives some job to job pulling a trailer and uses her trailer to move supplies and materials around the job site. She's really good on her machine.

Get the chainsaw attachment for the mini-X.
Also if the roots are too big dig further away from the tree. Eventually they will be small enough to break with that machine. That's true with any size machine.
It's normal to dig at least 2-3 feet or more away from the tree.

Yea I have a video on digging stumps where I make a huge hole. I am hesitant to dig too much on a trail so as to minimize disturbance. I prefer to just cover them with dirt if possible.

I thought most excavators were designed so that they could run for a long day on one tankfull of diesel. Some bigger tractors can run two whole days on one tank full.

I can run about 4-5 hours down to a 1/4 tank but can top it off twice with those 2 gallons I never work more than 4-5 hours a day so I’m good for three days when I head out with a full tank.
