Great guide, even if neckbeards are mad about not using LS. its funny how the marh doesn't include nuance and that on paper a skill can do more damage but there are many variables (is this a boss fight where im getting hit, mobs that get deleted with ES plus lavalash) the people who try to min max abilities tend to not play them correctly 100% because humans make mistakes especially when trying to do your convoluted rotation. The guy who uses the rotation he is comfortable with and can do 100% of the time is better than making 1 mistake and ruining your dps. Didnt mean to go on a tangent but the guide is great, helps all new shamans coming to the game or returing ones that need help. Keep doing you and eff these clowns who talk a big game but probably are trash in reality.
lava lash and molten blast are both glove runes, so are you switching from 2 different gloves when tanking dungeons depending how many mobs there are?, i feel like in dungeons you will mostly be dealing with 4+ mobs at a time so having molten blast instead of lava lash makes more sense?.
Played shaman since the beginning of wow and didnt want to play one for sod. Now i might have to level another char.
Can cast lvl 1 ES to interrupt and save mana too.

My shaman experience wasnt as easy as yours lol i did all of this but still had issues
Both I and my brother felt levelling a shaman was absolutely miserable. I went from warlock to Shaman so maybe I missed everything great about a warlock but my brother went Shaman right off the rip and eneded up abandoning it for a hunter. I've persisted with the Shaman and im not 24 but mainly for Ghostwolf to herb.

I felt the same way until I got shamanistic rage and lava lash. It's always mana starved without shaman rage.
Same but playing a lock makes every other class seem tedious by comparison
Did you ever try to level a warrior? Shaman is one of easiest things to level imo. Especially with those crazy runes in sod.

I'm leveling a rogue, my last class.
Figured id roll a shaman after playing alliance for the frist two phases thus far. wanted to roll enh until i realized it was going to cost me about 20+ in shredder autosalvages or 30+ to just buy the turbos. Elemental it is i guess lmao
there is no off hand/one hand maces and axes bellow lvl 16, just to let everyone know :D

The gold cost for dual wield rune is ridiculous... not to mention all the other gold sinks. Rewarding players that buy gold.
Turned this off the moment I saw the use of Earth Shock but not Lightning Shield. How you gonna make a guide when you're just using the wrong spells?

If you watched the video, you would've had your answer. I don't like LS. A lot of people don't like it tbh. I mention it as a preference in the video a few times and say you can use it if you want tho. Costs a ton of mana, does shit for dmg and you have to refresh it all the time because you're constantly losing the charges and refreshing it interrupts your 5 sec rule regen. Literal massive waste of mana.
Earth shock is fine to use, especially at fresh ranks when leveling. It does great dmg. It also is mana heavy too, which is why you hear me say MULTIPLE times to be careful and not use it all the time. Running LL allows you to use it more.

@@Crix_Gaming it's literally higher damage per mana than most of your spells. *especially* earth shock. ES is the last spell you should be using.
You cast LS in clusters with the rest of your spells.

Shaman discord has great setups. This just feels like a waste of effort
Most of my information comes from said discord. I dont just make this up. Its after tons of research from there and I literally shout them out on the beginning of the video my guy. Feel free to state what you think made this garbage or incorrect tho
