I've been bit by dogs before. Just a quick snap took my fingers down to the bone. A labrador did that. That pitbull was playing with that guy because they know each other😂

I raised Labs. My Boy Moose he would hit the door and shook the house! He was 110pds. You get 20 ft near our front door. You would be what the F! With his family he was a kitten. If I stood back his hairs would stand straight up. I had no problems with crazy church folks coming to my house.
@@badlaamaurukehuNo they are chill, but they are very protective. They all have a personality due to where you live. I was in Maine with bears and crazy Moose. Not alot of visitors. My 2 and 4 year Olds treated him like a teddy bear. He would not let any non family near his kids. From the day he was born, day 1 he was coddled and loved, he was trained to follow all commands. He listened even to my youngest child. Even Grandma came over now and then, he was a pushy cat. Anyone else he would sit next to family members and did not like anyone in his yard.

As someone who has a professionally trained protection dog, that is not how a protection dog behaves and the lady has no control over that dog for it to be off leash.

I didn’t know what to do so I just say their and pet it but it was right up in my face just standing there. Does that mean it was asserting dominance? If it was my first time meeting it was I supposed to push it down to show dominance back?

I've also volunteered for a trained k9 bite, with the arm protection, and the energy is waaaay different. They latch on and shake their head like a Tasmanian Devil.

I was out working on my truck when I got attacked by a dog. The dog had a hold of my foot and was thrashing her head back and forth. I rolled out from under my truck and a very pretty young lady was trying to get the dog back on the leash.
I seized the opportunity and asked the lady out on a date.

At 1:29, the pit has its mouth all the way around his arm if he closed his jaw a little bit the man wouldn't have gotten him off. I believe the pit is around this man often.
My biggest dog does this same thing when I grab the loose skin on his flank while playing. He doesn't bite down with force because he is playing or to be more precise because it's me and not a stranger.

As a lifelong dog owner and former animal control assistant, I got to say any dog can be dangerous if not properly trained and socialized, I don't know if this is someone playing around, but if a dog doesn't mind, it's almost always the owner's fault, though this was mostly the guy's fault for messing with the dog, she still should have had her dog leashed while in public, regardless of the dog's breed or situation!

I have a German Shepherd and a Belgian Malinois - no one asks to pet them. Mine are trained and anyone approaching me is given a warning not to make any aggressive move towards me and to stay at least 6 feet away. If not, there will be 180 lbs of dog coming your way. Once introduced they will be fine but don't mess with their people.
