Important: Startup Mode in the system menu needs to be set to DEFAULT for the enter+power sequence to work. If you've set it to something else (e.g. SCENE), you need to reset it to DEFAULT (via write when in the system menu) before powering off.

I bought a used rd awhile back how do I know what firmware and what updates have been loaded?

When I turn on my piano, I get to the menu to select the data, but: it doesn't show any files (although they are on the usb drive...).....

I'd like to use the earthly jazz organ from exp 5 in my set, but the Tone Color wheel doesn't change the harmonic bar levels like it does on the other sounds, is there any way to fix this?

I'm trying to do this for the latest Roland, the RD-88. Unfortunately, it doesn't have an expansion (EXP) button so how do I access the expansion?

I try some of my USB-Sticks, but no one works. One 8GB Stick I used befor on an 8 Year old Yamaha can be formated with the Roland RD 2000 but cant Find any file after I copy one of them to the stick.. :(
Does anyone know what "special usb Stick" I need here??

It looks like you need a thumb drive that's larger than 33MB.
I just ordered a 64MB one, so I'll see if that works.

Guys - the web address to Axial in the description is wrong. Shouldn't have www - that leads to an error. Also, even when you omit it, and the site does load, there's a certificate problem. Seems like your devs need to renew the SSL certificate.

Once they are downloaded and installed, how do you get to the second set of exps?

Press a second time on the EXP knob.

Just FYI, it looks like you need a thumb drive that's larger then 31.5MB from the looks of it.
I just ordered 64MB one, so hopefully it works.
I'll try and remember to update this.
