Rode cannock years ago. I'm 55 now, loads of operations later but watching this i found my self smiling without realising. Not been on my bike for 8 years but i'm so glad I've still got it! Nice vid
Cannock is down the road from us, the dog and monkey are our training grounds really. We did stoke cop 3 days ago for the first time. Loved it. Great video, as was a bit nervy about the 3 skull runs, now I know what to expect. Cheers man
New line was my favourite line at the cop but I never tried that line before, I just loved blasting down the s bends, ill certainly take a look if I ever get another bike
I got around the chase with relative ease for a novice rider, though I did almost killed my self at stile cop, On the first run I went down and decided to leave was on my own and did not fancy getting hurt. Any one going in the next couple months and do not mind showing me what's what I'd love to hear from you, as social distancing is relaxed obviously. The video is great but on the ground experience is a little different.
Cracking vid mate. But when your at the bottom of the red. Directly infront if you is a steep hill with a nudded rut. Push up that. Ride from the too bear rightt then left that is top of lower cliff. Super quick. Qnd q good way to chuck in stile coo at the end of your monkey ride great vid dude. Cheers
That’s always the trouble with Cannock. It’s got great lines but they’re always rutted to hell. Just seems like the locals just ride it to death and don’t maintain them which is a shame.
across the road from the car park entrance just to the left there’s a little path that I push my bike up seems a bit easier to me than riding up the entrance road also there’s a fair bit of unofficial trail building on the car park side of the road with some bigger drops but these aren’t as well maintained
Yeah I’m familiar with that little path, I sometimes use it although occasionally it’s a bit over grown too depending on the time of year... I think for the videos I try to keep it simple and easy for folks to follow. And yeah there’s loads of unofficial tracks, especially on the Chetwynd coppice side I’d love to do a video of them but it’s I’m not sure how to go about it, it can get a bit political, people don’t like it when secret trains get shared, which is understandable 😊
there is a much much quicker way to the top of lower cliff you take a right at the very bottom of stile cop then there is a track on your left taking you straight to the top a push up though
SparkyDog ManiaCLAN1124 udtlh dude stile cop on my enduro/trail bike a DH is a bit overkill in my opinion as I think it’s very much a beginners DH track that said a lot of people use DH bikes, especially if they’re less experienced.

MTB Madness yeah I know, but I try to keep simple and show people an easy route if they’re already doing the Donkey
MTB Madness good shout tho

its just the shear volume of traffic that destroy the waymarked trails. Locals tend to use the offpiste stuff :)
Good all round knowledge mate thanks 🍺🚴
Fantastic vid. Hitting New Line next Saturday 👍🏽
mate, you've got something on your lip.
no worries mate.
great footage by the way !
thanks for this video. much appreciated

Nice vid. Was there today and found the lines confusing but fun. Didn’t have the balls for the big drops despite them looking quite doable

a push up though
Nice informative video ,, subscribed 👍

Hi, this trail is called Lower Cliff. It’s great fun to ride
@@finlaymorgan9365 thank you m8 👌
Do you have the postcode for the car park ?? 👍👍
Westwood699 I’ve not got it to hand but it’s in the description of the video 👊🏻
Is cop best in summer or winter, I went up yesterday and had a fall on one of the drops down the bottom because it was quite moist 😬
Winter is always better at stile cop. Too many pebbles in the summer months
Nice vid 🖒
Enjoyed that. So much so I subbed 😃👍
What glasses are you wearing in this?
Sorry this video is 5 years old I can’t remember what I had for breakfast let alone what glasses they were 😂
@@TheHeadAngle No worries!
Postcode for the carpark please?

Boggy Big pants think it was a mid week, there’s more trail guides of other places coming soon
Good stuff Andy, you do make it look hard work tho 😜
Paul Joicey it was hard work mate, need to get fit again
What bike do you use?
