It really is important that you proof read your descriptions & listing of actors you’re talking about. Many of the actors you’re talking about get put under other actors pictures. A shame.
What❤WRONG with YOU Black people, Not Black enough, NOT Poor enough.... when will you accept that all you've been through and still STRUGGLING THROUGH is still PROGRESS in a World that won't ACCEPT YOU... to me, you KEEP YOUR OWN SELVES DOWN!!!...and don't and won't ACCEPT YOUR OWN PROGRESSION in a WORLD that DEFINITELY HATES YOU!!!
Weren't these folks like Sidney Portier and Belafonte hypocrites though? Fighting for equitable treatment as to not having to marry black women. It seems like Fighting not for group equality but patriarchal equality.
NO, because you can marry who you love and still RECOGNIZE the inequalities that makes one suffer by not taking it out on individuals that is of that RACE and have nothing to do with it!...You don't have CRITICAL THINKING....
On the subject of actor Sidney Poitier, i highly agree that his movie roles didn't address The REAL issues that African Americans were facing, civil rights, racism, ETC.although i was a child during Poitier's fame (the 60's), his characters were of course played with a White co-star, in the Movie "A Patch of Blue" he befriends a Blind White young Woman, much to the resistance of her Mother, Poitier's film "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner" he dating a White Woman, she brings him home to MEET her parents, his characters were usually Professional Men, by the early 70's Poitier's career was coming to an end, by the mid 70's he was relegated to acting in Blacploitated films😮he career was pretty much over, however he did Break barriers during the 60's acting alongside White Actors.
Ole Wacky Wesley Snipes's ATTITUDE is what did him in😚Several people I know had terrible ENCOUNTERS with him🤫 We happened to be dining in the same Hollywood Restaurant and talk about ENTITLED ARROGANT JERK was him🙄 I still like some of his work though. Gotta be a FAN OF THE ART and not FAN OF THE MAN.
Discrimination is still around to this day in Hollywood.
So true some people enjoy us not saying the truth but sometimes we need to face the truth
Denzel has stood his ground and refused to do love scenes with white actresses!
And yet we THRIVE
Just face it America will always be racist. Against black people with a passion.
It's jeliouscy we are a beautiful people they copy us in every way in every thing we do so Sud off
That would be uppedy N word🤨
Please redo this video and make the necessary corrections. This is true discrimination when do not have the information showing the correct person.
Do you know the facts?
