I think she joined the alliance because she wanted to be swag, and the 'cool guys' alliance is guys only so unless she wanted to be even more of an underdog, freesmart was rubies only choice.

Match was an absolute jerk. I don’t know what you’re talking about
To be honest I have never understood why people like Firey so much... I mean sure, he is cool, but all he used to do was hate on Coiny. I mean... everyone used to hate Coiny but love Firey... which honestly makes no sense because in the first season it is almost as if they were the same person... I fell like they only liked Firey was because he was fire and that was it... not to mention he was an ass to Leafy after everything she had done for him. She literally made him win and all he did was shun here because of his own stupid doing... like is he that stupid not to know that lava would've fucking killed Leafy... the thing that made this scene only more painful to watch are the facts that Leafy was cautious about Firey being around water unlike Firey's arrogant turn on Leafy... and then the next season starts off with them chasing Leafy to Yoyleland. Personally I like Coiny better... Firey is bland... especially without Leafy

Match literally pissed me off so much in BFDIA, for example:
Episode 2 - “Icey is such a hideous menace”
Episode 3 - Doesn’t compete with the contest along with Pencil and Ruby
Episode 4 - “TB totally deserved it, he’s been so lazy” (So Rude) “OMG! Gelatin is so awful at like lifesaving” (BRO HE JUST SAVED YOU FROM A HAND POWERED RECOVERY CENTER THAT WAS ABOUT TO CRUSH YOU! BE THANKFUL!)
Episode 5 - Basically everything, Kicks Book and Ice Cube out of the dance party, gets saved from being eliminated, “No way Nickel, only FreeSmarters are only allowed to have a break time, you should know that” (She didn’t do crap), “Most important people are first” (YOU DIDN’T EVEN HELP AT ALL! You don’t deserve to say that)
Match was the absolute worst in Episode 5.
I will say I agree with the top picks like Coiny and Gelatin, those two are my favorite!
