A Mustang is the only Ford I would ever buy, lol. This one is just plain badass. Wish you the best of luck with your new apartment and hope you can keep this car!
Don't know if you still follow mustangs much but I just installed a D1 procharger and it is currently in the process of tuning, Would be done by now but the shop is trapped in by snow. They made a few dyno runs and it's at around 550 at the wheels but running out of injector which are getting changed. As soon as I get back from Ohio I will post a vid if the weather allows that you should check out.
I can respect that! I just got a trans am and selling the stock stuff off of it is a great way to get more money for modifications! Great idea, thanks!
Really miss your mustang videos man. From all the 96-04s you had. Always had great videos and you really knew how to make mustangs look and sound great. Hope the apartment thing is going good man. Post some more car videos soon bro!
Thanks man! Yeah I definitely miss having mustangs and making these videos. I'm trying to be more responsible and save some money. I have a really nice 2011 Ram 1500 4x4 right now, of course my payment is a pretty penny too haha. Maybe I'll post a video of that and go from there. I can only pay cash to get another 96-04 GT, but the only good ones out there are $7k+, I just don't have the cash right now. Plus of course I can't leave it as is, I'd need an exhaust, wheels and tires, etc... well there's another $2k+ haha.
love the eibach springs. they defintiely get rid of the 4x4 look but don't ruin the ride quality. and the exhaust is awesome!!! it's so loud yet absolutely no drone inside the car
Nice car, bro!! Just got an '07 GT myself!! Great car. OBW, dont sell it! Work extra hours to keep it. If you sell it, you'll regret it!! I speak from past experience...
if i remember correctly, they were 285/40/18 in the back and 275/40/18 in the front. they might have been a 45, i honestly don't remember. one of those
now my guess is ( correct me if im wrong) that with a stick shift since u can choose the gears ur throttle response is instant right? u drivin a auto before so I hope u know what im taking about, do stick shifts have better throttle response than automatics. because now im REALLY thinking of getting a stick shift (2002-2000 mustang) sooner now lol don't ever judge a book buy its cover lol
dude I figured it out how to get my tires spinning really fast on my FWD auto car. ive seen people do this before but it was in a rwd car/truck, but anyway I see that they push the brake with ur left and apply gas with ur right but I cant do that in my car because I would hurt the front brakes so I just did it in the same motion like when people pop the clutch in drag racing, I let off the brake just before I slam the gas. I saw a glimpse of smoke for the first time im so proud of myself =)
up until recently, americanmuscle was out of stock with those. it's always the very first thing i do. suprisingly, it doesn't bother me anymore. i'll probably still do it anyways here shortly
also, if you want to change the shocks/struts out, DO NOT get aftermarket parts. get OEM, off the shelf from autozone/o'reilleys parts. my buddy had an 07' mustang and lowered his car with eibach springs. it rode fine, until he decided to buy eibach shocks/struts. it was the worst ride ever! same with my buddy in his 98' gt. i've always just left the shocks/struts alone or replaced them OEM and have never had a ride quality issue.
nobody wishes i had it more then i do. i LOVED this car. but when a mechanic tells you that noise in the transmission is a $2000 fix, but they can't warranty the work or even guarantee it'll fix the problem, it's hard to keep. then with the countless hours i spent messing with the vents, couldn't fix those either, then the alternator going out, i was done. best sounding and looking car for sure, but it was a hair short of being a lemon :(
they were bad.. tie rod end was falling apart. when taking the struts out, the strut mounts actually fell apart, literally. all the ball bearings went everywhere. then the sway bar end links weren't all that great either. so we tore the whole front end apart and replaced it all. but no, you do not have to change those parts when lowering your car. it's recommended you replace the shocks/struts, but even then, that's a crock to get more money out of you. trust me!
Is the warehouse parking lot always empty like that or is there a time where u can't film there because I'm planning on doing a video of my first car in that parking soon. I'm that guy who ask u where u did ur videos
I don't see what the big deal with drone is, I like being able to hear my exhaust inside the car so I'm fine with it, that's why I bought the pipes. Nice car though, shame you got rid of it.
Beautiful car. Was shopping for a mustang and came across one just like this one with 40k miles. I went ahead and bought and I love it. What springs did you lower it with and did you ever have any negative camber in the front??
Good pick man, you'll love it! I put the Eibach Pro Kit I believe (it's been a while). I think there was a little negative camber in the front, but it wasn't that bad. I bought the camber bolts and got it aligned, a whopping $45 maybe haha.
Thanks haha I owned 2006 v6 before and was not able to get a good alignment because of the offset of the wheels. I will more than likely go with the pro kit again and get the bolts put on from the get go.
Yeah that'll be fine. I bought the springs and bolts from americanmuscle(dot)com. Springs were around $250 and bolts were $35 ish. AM is having a sale on SR Performance springs for $160, lowers your car as much as the Eibach's do. I'd look into those if you want to save $100.
I saw that. Definitely going to pick up the sequential plug in play kit. Don't know too much about SR performance so I wasn't too excited about the price. Going to look into it.
Yeah just do some research, I'd give them a whirl is I don't see anything negative against them. And the sequential tail light kit is AWESOME! So easy to install and looks great.
honestly i think i got a lemon. the transmission was making some noise, was told i needed a new bearing and synchro kit, but no guarantees that it would fix the problem. and the vents wouuld act up, but like i said, i think i got a lemon. that 4.6 is a good motor is you're just looking for a nice looking gt to cruise around with
yea i know they're beastly, i just don't know if i'll be happy in one. i wish i had kept my 04 silverado. since i don't drive as often as i use to, i think i can handle a truck as my only car. silverados are reliable, dependable, GREAT ride quality, and easy to work on. we'll see
i would say you might have better throttle responce, to a point. you have that 1/2 second lag in an auto when you hit the throttle, but it's instant on a stick. it just depends on what gear you're in and how fast you're going
i would if you'd actually pick up anything. ever wonder why Corsa is so expensive? it's because their mufflers are designed to push the sound out the back of the mufflers, letting absolutely no drone inside the car. you can hear the exhaust some, but not enough for a video i don't think. the exhaust almost sounds stock on the inside, but it SCREAMS on the outside haha
yo hey its me again um yeah ive learned a lot about why people dislike automatics now im really starting to understand ive just got my license about 2 weeks ago and ive been having fun driving my moms old car but when I want some power or when I press the gas all the way the acceleration rate stays the same does not change until like 2 sec after, I always have to time it right to get it really going.
i honestly have no idea man, i wish i didn't. i have had some sick cars in my days and i still get rid of them. i just get bored i guess and go on to something else
but other then that, it was perfect haha. i hated letting it go, i got sooo many compliments on that car. especially the day i sold it, it seemed like everybody was stopping me or trying to talk to me in traffic to compliment my car. made it so hard to sell
If you don't mind me asking, if the car was paydoff, and everything, what made it so expensive that you had to sell it to move in your own apartment? insurance on the car, maintenance...what was it?
"Technically" it was paid off, but it wasn't. I had cash from a personal loan that I used to buy this car. So though I didn't have an auto loan, the personal loan was my car payment. I didn't have to get full coverage insurance this way (I saved over $100/month). The car had quite a few little mechanical issues that kept racking up. Then it started having transmission issues.. and of course the issue was something that couldn't be warrantied. I'm not spending around $2000 for something that could break again in a few months, then I'd be out another $2000. That was the icing on the cake. I couldn't afford the repairs anymore, so I got rid of it.
if it was my fault yes. but i've always had liability only on all my cars since i was 16. i've been rear ended twice and have never had to pay for damages and my insurance has never gone up. i'm a safe and careful driver (not to say nothing could ever happen) but i'm ok with not having full coverage.
never once. the only thing i had to be careful of was the front bumper when pulling into parking spots. other then that, it was perfect. i'd recommend those springs to anybody!
Hey right now im paying 210 liability in texas insurance on a red 04 GT im 19 BTW i really want a 03-04 cobra i have the cash ready no loans just saved up my money how much will it be if any idea or clue?
No idea man, that's something you'd have to call your insurance company on. And I'd look elsewhere for insurance if an 04 GT is running you $210/month for just liability. I remember having numerous GT's when I was 18-21 and I never paid more then $100/month for liability, usually closer to $80. Try State Farm, that's who I have and love them.
it was a money pit in general. the throttle lag from the electronic throttle was aweful, transmission was making noises (which my mechanic said it was fine, just noisy). um no, obviously a "noisy" tranny ins't a healthy tranny. i though i had the vent system fixed but that kept breaking too. alternator going out, etc... and according to the guy i sold it to, it was burning oil bad which i never had a problem with but we'll just add that to the list.
what about 1999 and 2004? you're forgetting some years haha. i can agree with you though. i liked the exterior of the new edge's better, but the interior of the s197's are sooo clean
Yeah it's sold because I didn't see it there in the lot anymore. Then I saw it across the street from my parents house on new yrs eve. My dad actually drove it lol my dad knows the them fairly well, well all the guys plus the owner went out and never came back in the morning and was blocking another car in the driveway of someone that had to leave and the person didn't know how to drive stick so my dad drove out lol small world
My dad told me the story in the morning, he was like nice car sounded good but trashed on the inside lol I was like damn that sucks but the outside was spotless...I have a 11 5.0 myself and always keep it clean inside and out...but I will say the car looked good the way it sat.
haha yea i figured most people were more interested in the car and not my life story so i saved that until the end. the end was more for my subscribers i talk to alot
Thanks man! Short of the few minor-ish problems it gave me, it was probably my favorite of all my Mustangs. I'm hoping to get a 5.0 in the next few years once my truck is paid off.
A Mustang is the only Ford I would ever buy, lol. This one is just plain badass. Wish you the best of luck with your new apartment and hope you can keep this car!
Very nicely done with the car. Looks fantastic! Wish you the best and hope you can keep it.
yep. plasti-dip is awesome! there's absolutely no prep involved. just make sure the area is clean, tape off what you don't want painted, and go.
Don't know if you still follow mustangs much but I just installed a D1 procharger and it is currently in the process of tuning, Would be done by now but the shop is trapped in by snow. They made a few dyno runs and it's at around 550 at the wheels but running out of injector which are getting changed. As soon as I get back from Ohio I will post a vid if the weather allows that you should check out.
i love it there is something about that black and white.
Tell me about it! Haha
it just catches people eyes great looking car no matter how old it is. it would be a great project car for someone who had the money.

So simple but yet it looks so sweet!
Thanks man! I definitely miss this car. It just had too many issues I couldn't afford to fix.
love the eibach springs. they defintiely get rid of the 4x4 look but don't ruin the ride quality. and the exhaust is awesome!!! it's so loud yet absolutely no drone inside the car
She clean
i could do that... the view is incredible. it's on the 3rd floor overlooking a big fishing pond surrounded by trees. i'm psyched man
i currently work for a mortgage company, but i am about 5 weeks from starting the police academy (hopefully)
You should do an interior drive around like you did with your old Stangs! Wanna hear the beast from the inside.
Nothing left to be done and it's still stock? Whattt???
Awesome. Congrats on the apartment! You should do a your of the place after you move in.
if you keep the stang, and i hope you do you should get a shorty antenna
Saw your comment below, What vehicle you plan to get next? Still gonna do videos on your vehicles?
When you lowered it what was the reason you changed the front end parts? Was they bad or did you have to change them with the lowering springs?
You were right. You really did make this mustang nice. If I do get one I actually wanna do the things you did on this one. How reliable was it?
Nice car, bro!! Just got an '07 GT myself!! Great car. OBW, dont sell it! Work extra hours to keep it. If you sell it, you'll regret it!! I speak from past experience...
probley going to buy a 05 mustang gt this weekend and im wondering how do u like the iboch and the exhaust u have
if i remember correctly, they were 285/40/18 in the back and 275/40/18 in the front. they might have been a 45, i honestly don't remember. one of those

Hey man did you sell the hurst shifter? I have a 07 gt got it one month before you, by the date one your first video.

thanks dude! this car sure did turn alot of heads
dude nice! where's the video?!?!
Alright I got one video up of the speedo but I think if the sun comes out today I may get another up.
shame u have to part with it but you gotta do what u gotta do! any chance of you making an in-car video before selling her?
How hard was it to replace those actuators that was causing that clicking?
honestly i think i got a lemon. the transmission was making some noise, was told i needed a new bearing and synchro kit, but no guarantees that it would fix the problem. and the vents wouuld act up, but like i said, i think i got a lemon. that 4.6 is a good motor is you're just looking for a nice looking gt to cruise around with
Very clean car, love black on white, going with that look on my 07 ram, i just need black rims lol
Are you ever going to make that tour of your apartment?
yea i know they're beastly, i just don't know if i'll be happy in one. i wish i had kept my 04 silverado. since i don't drive as often as i use to, i think i can handle a truck as my only car. silverados are reliable, dependable, GREAT ride quality, and easy to work on. we'll see
@speeddemon0712 so god forbid if you wreck you would have to pay for the damages?
How much HP is in it? I found one that I would like to buy, but I can't find any website's that tells me the HP or any specs on it. Thanks
Still gonna post videos of the new vehicles you get?

Goodness this car was sweet I know ur gonna miss it
thanks.. yea this car was sick. i miss it more then anything
nope she's gone! i'll post an update video this weekend hopefully
yo hey its me again um yeah ive learned a lot about why people dislike automatics now im really starting to understand ive just got my license about 2 weeks ago and ive been having fun driving my moms old car but when I want some power or when I press the gas all the way the acceleration rate stays the same does not change until like 2 sec after, I always have to time it right to get it really going.
awesome car man!!! looks amazing!!!
i honestly have no idea man, i wish i didn't. i have had some sick cars in my days and i still get rid of them. i just get bored i guess and go on to something else
How did you plasti dip your tail lights? Did you take them off first?
If you do have to sell, you could always get another new edge :)
but other then that, it was perfect haha. i hated letting it go, i got sooo many compliments on that car. especially the day i sold it, it seemed like everybody was stopping me or trying to talk to me in traffic to compliment my car. made it so hard to sell
ill make one this weekend coming up, i got it on saturday, didnt make one cause all ive been doing is driving it lol can you blame me?
yea auto's are good for heavy traffic and just daily driving, but sticks are definitely more fun
got a hell of a deal on it too, almost all stock except flow master exhaust 89kmiles thought for $13,740
either an 01-04 gt or 05-06 acura tl. i just hate not having money in case of emergencies
i have to man. this time is a little different then other time i've traded or sold a car
Im looking at a 2007 gt/cs like this but black. Any major problems with it or anything? Mines got 69,000 on it
yeah for a cobra but its a well taken care of car ill post a video sat or sun
you wont sell anything parts from the car ?
what exhaust is that sounds nice man cool car i want one of those i have a 2002 gt 5 speed v8 4.6 would you keep it or trade it for one of these ???
+Jose Villegas BBK catted x-pipe with Corsa Xtreme axle backs.
Sounds great, I am ordering long tube headers, shorty h pipe and mac axle back, should sound boss.
hi, can you tell me the tire size please? thnks

I couldn't afford the repairs anymore, so I got rid of it.
Wanna let me borrow a few thousand bucks?! Haha u always have such badass upgrades and new cars! Lol how do you do it?
At least your responsible enough to acknowledge your priorities and not get into a lot of debt.
How much is insurance a month on it?
if it was my fault yes. but i've always had liability only on all my cars since i was 16. i've been rear ended twice and have never had to pay for damages and my insurance has never gone up. i'm a safe and careful driver (not to say nothing could ever happen) but i'm ok with not having full coverage.
i couldn't afford to fix the problems so i sold it for a loss.
a whipple s/c would be sick though
never once. the only thing i had to be careful of was the front bumper when pulling into parking spots. other then that, it was perfect. i'd recommend those springs to anybody!
What kind of job do you have
pretty much always.. every now and then there will be some kids with their parents learning random stuff, occasional cop, but it's usually dead
how much is insuranve on this Car
roughly.. it says 1.3" front 1.4" rear
Hey right now im paying 210 liability in texas insurance on a red 04 GT im 19 BTW i really want a 03-04 cobra i have the cash ready no loans just saved up my money how much will it be if any idea or clue?

yea i forgot about 99 but i dont like the 40th aniverserary badges on the 04's. they should have kept the gt badges on it
it was a money pit in general. the throttle lag from the electronic throttle was aweful, transmission was making noises (which my mechanic said it was fine, just noisy). um no, obviously a "noisy" tranny ins't a healthy tranny. i though i had the vent system fixed but that kept breaking too. alternator going out, etc... and according to the guy i sold it to, it was burning oil bad which i never had a problem with but we'll just add that to the list.
What's your mpg on it?
what about 1999 and 2004? you're forgetting some years haha. i can agree with you though. i liked the exterior of the new edge's better, but the interior of the s197's are sooo clean
thanks man... i'll try to keep it!
I’ve got the same car in black. It’s my forever car......I’ll never sell it.
what year is that mustang? 1991? haha
ahh i wish you still had this monster
Gainesville area?? I seen this for sale at triple c auto...
it's not on the site anymore, must have sold. yea i got rid of this car back in february, i miss it sooooo much!
Josh Lopez dang that sucks. i took such good care of that car. what all do you have done to your 5.0?
how low did u go 1.25?
do u know where i could buy a GT/CS front bumper pre painted?
you may try americanmuscle(dot)com, but other then that, i have no idea. sorry
dang i have looked there but i want one that is already painted
Ryan Pendygraft that sucks.. i'm not sure really. just try some google searches, surely there are sites out there with what you're looking for
haha yea i figured most people were more interested in the car and not my life story so i saved that until the end. the end was more for my subscribers i talk to alot
How much are u selling yr stang?
maybe to the wheels but not to the crank
More low, spoiler delete, and Ford Racing hot rod cams :)
Hella clean
Hate mustang's but this is cleannnn props to you
Thanks man! Short of the few minor-ish problems it gave me, it was probably my favorite of all my Mustangs. I'm hoping to get a 5.0 in the next few years once my truck is paid off.
hey man, guess what!?!?!?! i bought an 03 cobra :D finally!!!!
not bad not bad.. kind of high miles on a cobra, but you gotta work with what you got
how much
that's not a reason to not like them. it's a decal so to speak, it can be removed so easily
80,000 miles on it how many now?
Oh I have no idea.. I only had this car for about 6 months
Damn that does suck. Didn't you say it was not mechanically sound?
