I remember when the s197 dropped at the 2004 auto show I fell in love with it that day. I had seen the concept in 03 but was young and didn’t pay much attention until the official car was shown. Now it’s in my driveway and I still love it as much as I did as a team dreaming of it.

@@DayneLeBlanc The difference from doing it yourself is simple. You won't have a real Shelby unless you go threw Shelby American. A great way to sum it up is what is more valuable a real 427 cobra vs a kit car.It is easy to figure out.
I have a 2005 mustang gt with the 3v 4.6, and i love the way it sounds but I kinda gotta give the sound to the 4v terminator cobra. I can't leave out the coyote5.0 because they are monstrous on WOT..
Finally a 3v owner with some sense lol. They do sound good but best hell no...4v ftw. The terminators were wicked all 4v were even the 5.4 in the gt500s and later 5.8 they sound ungodly as well. And when you hear a 4v with cams it's heavenly lol. I am in love with my 07 gt500 that thing sounds like a beast and it don't even have headers.

The White cars with unpainted wheels is far better looking in my opinion. A cams upgrade , performance tune , headers , Throttle body upgrade and swapping the 3.55 gears to 3.73 gears definitely changed my cars personality.

Me and my dad just bought a used 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT today. There's alot of details that needs fixing and alot of money. But would you say it would be worth the money in the long run? Also I can't make up my mind if we bought an inferior version of the Shelby GT500.

Are they fast depending on what you compare it too. Compared to my gt500 and my supersnakes it's not even close but they handle good and make decent power so at the end of the day there fun car's.

The blown 5.4 4v and tr6060 6 speed tremec trans blows the driveline in this car out the water. Way more power stock and way more potential. The real shelby. These cars costed alot because they had shelby in the name. Regular gts were going for like what 25 grand or so back then.
@@midnight347 technically the gt500 isn't a real Shelby. They don't actually go the Shelby factory. They're rolled off the assembly line justust the any other GT. The Shelby GT actually goes to the Shelby factory and gets their modifications done to the car

I have a white silver stripes Shelby gt that I drive daily and I love the car also put the razor wheels on it.Its nothing compared to my gt500 or my 07 and 10 supersnake.But for 20grand that I payed for my Shelby gt and it was worth the money

my grandpaw has 2007 shelby gt supercharged he rebuilt the engine so the supercharger would fit it goose 180mph it is feels fast sounds fast looks fast it took 1 year to complete

The real shelby the gt500 around this time had a wicked 5.4 4v. When you hear a cammed one its ungodly. These were way overpriced and overrated imo. Sticker is only 5k less than what gt500 were at the time for an na 3v with suspension parts and some exterior mods. I thought they were way overpriced then and I still think it today lol. It's not a bad car by any means theyre cool. And yes I know gt500s had markups in the very beginning I'm just talking strictly about msrp price. It's mind boggling this is within 5k of a gt500 msrp lol.

Yes, The issue in the video was the electric switch that adjusts the drivers seat. If that works in the car you will be buying, you're gonna be fine.

It technically wasn’t.
05-09 was a true retro design. It strongly resembled late 60s Mustangs. The SN95/New Edge took some old styling cues but was in no way a retro design.
I’m not referring to the SN95.
The Plymouth Prowler was technically the first retro design that kicked off the retro styling.
