I live on a small island in the Pacific Ocean. I can count how many Digimon players we got on two hands, so to see the deck variety and passionate content created on this channel is really satisfying. We're a few sets behind here, we only have up to Battle Of Omni, but it just makes my own Omnimon deck feel a little more special. Thank you, Protagonist for the amazing videos, and giving us here a little preview of what we have to look forward to!

Goodness this game was like a card game battle in an anime. That clutch Alphamon security was crazy to save protagonist from loosing and when I thought it was over after seeing Zwart, A warp Digivolution to Gallant mom came out of no where. Seriously a roller coaster of a game.
@@DemonEyeHelix Either way I enjoyed it as intended. Still showed off what the cards can do and as someone who likes Card Game animes I don't mind an entertaining scripted match if this is what it was.

idk, there are level 6 cards that have inherited effect, but since jesmon dosent have an inherited effect, that main skill wouldn't work.

This is how fast players need to be playing. Zero errors, no card shuffling in hand, and card effects being read.

A really good match. Showcases the potential of Alphamon quite nicely. Was really rooting for CP, but Jesmon just gets so much free value that it quickly becomes an uphill battle.
Yeah i felt that even though Alphamon had alot of control, Jesmon's advantage is really quite overwhelming! Thank you for rooting for me tho! :3

I absolutely love your channel! Very well edited so it's super easy to follow along for even the greenest beginner, but pacing is very brisk and nothing is ever overexplained. Definitely getting me into this game (Long-time MTG player, but used to play Pokemon and Yugioh as well).

I really wish these cards where distributed better in America. Single boxes should not be hundreds of dollars. Hopefully one day my wife and I will be able to have fun battles with Digital Monsters

I just learned that I’ve been playing zwart all wrong. I thought I had to choose up to digimon with a play cost equaling 8 (for example a 2 cost and 6 cost or two 4 cost )
Also didn’t know any power gained from effects carry over to the next digimon if the digimon digivolves

Where is the music ?
Ive got the yellow and the blue starter deck to try the game with a friend and Im kinda disappointed. Maybe its simply the fact the starter decks a pretty basic and such, but there wasnt a lot of interacting with eachother and just ramming our Mons into the others security stack until one uf us was defeated. We saw simply no reason to attack Digimons, when we could just attack the stack directly.
Am I wrong or is this just how the game is?
I really liked Digimon as a kid and got excited when I heard of the game, but right now it simply doesnt click for me ....

I think Jesmon is more broken because of Sistermon. At the end, it's the Sistermon that won, Jesmon was more of a decoy.

We have a camera studio set up for recording these video. usually we use a overhead tripod for these.

I hate how cards for this game are hard to find and scalpers are ruining attempts for everyone at getting cards. Not to mention the launch was botched so stores barely got any product. I already know some people and several LGS that have stopped entirely with Digimon because of these issues. I worry this game may end up dying soon again.

Yeah the key to the deck is actually balancing the sistermon ratio in the deck, we found 6 to be a pretty good start! :D
