when you re-assemble the fork you need to compresses the fork fully. If you don't like shown you create a second air spring in the lowers and the fork won't perform properly

maybe beacause this is old video and present pike is not the same as the 5 yrs ago pike. then ther was diffrent models solo&dual air pikes etc
