I love how they’ve provided fog lamps also, many cars in this segment have cheap quality projector lamps as a gimmick, but don’t even give fog lamps which are a necessity during fogs. Citroen has certainly focussed on essentials…
7 seats in this segment along with premium suspension and handling could make this an attractive proposition.
One thing to notice that Citroen has given all the necessary feature that actually useful. It enhances practicality. Unlike other car brands that used to provide mostly gimmicky features, they provide actual practicality. Also, Sunroof is the most non useful feature as per Indian weather conditions.
Still automatic ac is a good feature they have skipped

Those who buy car for showoff or feel good purpose, will get attracted by similar selling point. Buyers are not yet conscious about these things as they have no way to know what a good suspension is unless they experience one. Indians are very adaptive in their usage imo so don't care about such things
Don't you understand why Ford had to leave India? Indians hardly care about driving dynamics and the essential elements in a car. Indians probably confuse between cars and mobile phones. I am worried about this trend in the Indian market, and then there are some useless channels like Prateek Singh, ASY Cardrive, and some others who seem to have taken bribes from Tata and Mahindra to promote only their products. Good manufacturers are having to leave India due to negative propaganda. I would love to buy the C3 Aircross, but the sales trends worry me for now. I hope Citroen becomes a mighty challenger in the Indian market. I know people will tag me an anti national for these statements, but I believe in healthy competition. I hate monopoly.

This is a great car for semi urban and rural side. That’s where bulk of Maruthi, Hyndai sales come from. Could very well be a hit.
Citroen is actually making Indians realize that other car makers are selling too many features that most of the people hardly use and they charge us a bomb for those gimmicks. It is time for us to realize that when we buy a car, we should focus on how it drives not what features it offers. Save money, wherever you can!

If you love driving & happy with the basics like engine( best engine awards multiple times),build quality,ride & handling,etc & don't want features,then go for it.the suspension has rally pedigree(2nd most successful rally team of all time,behind lancia,& both belong to stellantis),very comfortable;its good to drive on the hills,highway & bad roads.took a test drive esp on inclined bad roads of hills,great pulling power.Moreover,excellent pricing,booked the 5 seater base model for just Rs. 8.49 lakhs!

I bought this car for comfort in ride, good space, adjustable driver's seat ( I wish the co passenger seat was also vertically adjustable).
A true, senior citizens, middle class car. Back seat passengers are really comfortable. To hell with the features.

Dear folks this is my personal opinion I test ride C3 23 non turbo top model as per my view the view is at delivering top performance for what it costs, never felt any lag or vibration.
For us as Indians we mean every penny worth in return so kindly don't underestimate us

Citroen is misunderstanding Indian market now.. because Indian customers are now moving more towards premium cars rather than car with cheap quality and basic features..one of my friend went for Kodiaq test drive and ended up buying Mercedes 😄
For many Indian first time buyers and a lot of families which hardly drive their car once a week, quality is not their priority.

I live in London and frankly Citroen as all other french cars are seen as cheap cars with low quality build but good features and if someone buys them its primarily for the price as compared to German and Japanese cars.Among all french cars Renault is considered best.As far as this car is concerned it should not be more than 12 lacs on road for Top variant if they want to sell cars in India.These cars are known for Glitches from the day one starts owning them...BEST AVOID IT AND GO FOR TATA, HYUNDAI, MAHINDRA, MARUTI..ANY DAY...
Ravi Sir, If we remove the Expected Pricing Part, puri video dekh ke laga even you're struggling to find anything GOOD/Eye Catching of this Car 😅 Citroën kaafi jyada BASIC level pe jarahi and aise segment pe ladne jarahi jahan Competition extreme level pe hai.. Really struggling ki Log Kyu Citroën choose karenge ... Except the great suspension and good space as a 5 seater, There isn't any WOW features which will attract buyers at first glance.
They still stuck with stupid In between seat Window switches, no arm rest, halogen headlamps and the list goes on. Citroën is competing with Maruti for Extreme cost cuttings kaise karei.

@@elemental9039 Saying this is easy but you should keep in mind in which segment this vehicle is being positioned. If it's in under 10-12 lakh the competition provides FAR more Equipments, Almost close to Quality suspension and good Driving dynamics as well. If a newcomer comes to this segment is without ANY WOW factor in the table, do you really think it will survive this Market? Isn't this the same reason why Ford also had to leave? They couldn't grasp the trend to survive in this market.
And No automatic for now, also no ISOFIX seats.. Do you really think people will Spend money if not priced aggressively on a company who's barely visible on roads for now???

कुछ मामले में Jitna manual उतना अच्छा.
For example AC manual है फिर भी अपने हिसाब से fan स्पीड और Temperature set कर सकते हैं.
If the base variant is priced under 9 lakh, then it will sell like hot cakes.
Only features missing are 6 airbags & cruise control.
Looks like a good car with strong fundamentals.Not everyone wants a entertainment center with big touchscreen, some buyers just want a good & fuss free car.

Well ravi sir if we see the features and practicality it competes to ertiga not creta and seltos. As it has same engine as c3
Also considering comparison with ertiga which has much better engine reliability, suzuki strong network and low cost maintenance with handful of similar features whose base variant starts at 8.64 lacs, its base price shouldnt be more than 9 lacs and 11.5 or lets say 12 lacs for top model maxximum. Otherwise the kind of cost cuttings they have done, it will become nothing more than a white elephant.
Also citroen should understand and atleast give 25000 units at introductory of 25000 less price to make hype and let people see it on roads due to which as like indians do follow the trend and after a success people start having trust than they can get themselves profitable. At least for starting they should invest in market rather than becoming profitable 👍👍

Vehicle looks very reliable. But for me - Absense of Rear AC vents and 6Airbags is a deal breaker. Automatic Climate control and Autodimming IRVM would be nice to have. If I get these in C3Aircross - I am definitely buying it.

Already the 0 safety ratings of C3 has created doubts in the minds of INDIAN buyers. Now launching a car without an Automatic Transmission will hurt Citroen very badly. Very few manufacturers understand Indian buyers!
- No Automatic Transmission on offer.
- No Service Stations Nearby
- No Marketing
- No Sale Outlets
- No Resale
Additionally, It has a Hard Clutch and its only offered in Manual Transmission, who will buy Citroen? Its already killed on arrival by Strong Competition from Cretas, Seltos, Grand Vitara and upcoming Honda Elevate
Even if this car is priced 2-3 lakhs lower than competion, still the chances of getting success are very thin. A price sensitive buyer in India always plays safe and buys Hyundai and Maruti.
However this perception may change if Automatic Transmission is on offer!
Global NCAP rating me agar yeh galti se 4+ leke ati hai... And top model 12lac ke andar hua.. To good option.

Now since Smart hybrid has been removed from Ertiga and XL6 The fuel consumption is but to rise Maruti claims 2.77 km less but in practical people are observing 5 to 6 less
Under this scenario ertiga and xL6 is not a good choice.
Eartiga price starts from 8.64 Lakhs, but with a proper 7 seater usable space.....& I don't think that, the C3 Aircross under cuts this price.........7.90 will be the best price for C3 Air Cross, if they really want to stay in Indian market.........

7seater varients's 3rd row seats are too conjusted to accommodate an adult. Its suitable only for kids below 10yrs. So it doesn't fullfil 7 seater purpose. Boot space becomes hardly enough for a bag bigger than laptop.
Good thing is that 3rd row seats are detachable.
Car length should have been "at least" 4.5Mtr for 7 seater varient. 4.32Mtr length is not enough.
109BHP engine with max torque 190NM is good for an MUV but if say SUV the 109BHP sounds not well.if same 1199cc displacement normal engine were a Turbo Petrol engine then the car would have been a Master piece in SUV segment.. But at present it appears Ertiga or XL 6 type MUV declared as SUV.
Car is over all good if used as 5 seater car.
