HOA Hag Story: If OP isn't in the HOA, he needs to have a Lawyer Sue the HOA for Harassment... If he IS in the HOA, then he needs to Sue the Hag for Harassment and sending Illegal Fines...by law, all HOA's MUST send a Notice of Violation via Certified Mail giving the Home Owner a chance to correct the problem and only if the problem isn't corrected in a reasonable time (a day or 3 depending on what the issue is) can a Fine be sent via Certified Mail... Just sending a Fine by Regular Mail with or without a Violation Notice before it is Illegal as is simply walking up to the house and putting the Fine or Violation Notice in the Mailbox by hand (That's actually a Federal Crime as ONLY Mail Carriers employed by the Post Office or a Registered Courier Company (Amazon, FedEx, DHL etc.) can legally place something in a person's Mailbox...
Hope everyone's day is going well! Especially if you don't run in to the first Karen! All great stories and thank you for sharing! I'll catch you again in the morning!
Last story: The sound of a pump action shot gun being "pumped", even if loaded is a sound you'll never forget. A good while ago, when I stilled lived with my folks, we had a peeping tom in the neighborhood and at about midnight (I had just gotten off work and was watching TV) I realized that someone was on our back deck. I woke up my father, who grabbed his (unloaded) shot gun and he ran outside and pumped it. He saw the moron jump nearly 10 feet in the air and take off running. I called the police who caught him about a half mile away short of breath. He didn't tell the cops about the shotgun. My dad did though. LOL. They found it very funny (the guys reaction)
Story 1 - I never understand how people that try to "beat respect into others" function. I went to school with a kid that thought that was conflict resolution. He ended up finishing high school in prison. What's annoying as a child became dangerous when he grew up. He ended up working heavy labor due to repeated convictions and getting addicted to pain killers.
Psychopaths are born, sociopaths are made. They're very much alike. It's just that a psychopath has no conscience, a sociopath has had the conscience beaten out of him.
If the Cryptkeeper was 70 years old, then she knows you don't go into other people's backyards without asking for permission or being invited. At least, 70 years ago that was the law of the land.
For the first story. If I was the manager at that store. And I heard or learnt that a customer called one of my employees an r-word. I would kick that customer out right then and there without her items. I would have an absolutely 0 tolerance policy when it comes to customers calling my employees r-words or anything else that is such degrading. For the second story. Companies that use metrics to measure how good a person is doing in the company should be fined extremely heavily. There is no real reason any company should be using metrics. Especially when it comes to calculating bonuses, raises, etc. Everyone will go their own speed. The policy should be this. As long as you aren't taking normally taking a really unreasonable amount of time for the calls. You are good. And I would consider really unreasonable as someone who is regularly having calls take 45 minutes to an hour. Here and there. Sure as problems can vary and some of them you may have to dumb down the instructions if they are technical. For the third/title story. HOAs should know their boundaries and who is and isn't part of the HOA. If they try to go after someone who isn't part of the HOA and keep sending them fines. Either they will eventually learn from their mistakes (like the 3 HOA members that showed up). Or they will start to go down the path of a lawsuit. Especially if the crazy HOA decides to be stupid enough to put a lien on the house.
Astro turf cutting story: The MOMENT Karen called the a r****d, I'd have told her I was no longer able to assist her and called for management to handle her, then helped Adam. Call center metrics story: Sheesh! It's a wonder some businesses manage to stay in business with those types of ideas. Cart story: Yeah, that's ridiculous, COVID or not. It's not that hard to use your eyes, at least not for most people. HOA story: Cameras and a trespassing order.
There is nothing on earth that could compel me to live in a neighborhood that had an HOA. I had a barracks sergeant during Basic Training in the Army. That was more than a lifetime's worth of that kind of bullsh!t.

That call center story , I guarantee the supervisor knew what would happen. He SPECIFICALLY told op to do this to prove a point

It obviously worked so well for their parents when they were a kid, so why wouldn't they try it on complete strangers?
@@H3xx99 Probably the amount of angry bullied kids, firearms, and cops that get away with excessive force would need a little discretion now.

That’s a good way to be on the wrong end of a buckshot dispenser

Great stories but they are always too short.

I guess that call center never heard of time is money, most people want to get the shit done.
Don't remember legion that much, but now I will have to check it out...
Cryptkeeper, had heard that word in a long time!🤣
That was a good program, spooky.
😂😂😂
As to the first story that was funny. As to the second story those that can't tell you how and screw up a good thing.
Legion- awesome!
11:54 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kudos to the guy the last story referring to the HOA hag as a draugr queen. LOL nice to know Skyrim still carry some weight
People, you CAN sue the HOA for harrasment.
The last one, hey now, don’t disrespect the crypt keeper! 🤣🤣
Thanks man
Why would any sane person choose to live in a HOA?
Last story, "Have you ever seen that movie 'LEGION'??"........
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
On the OP that was a technical help person. He made them money but was to good? With that logic is it any wonder such companies go under?
First
all zombies know to fear a guy with shotgun
The worst part of reddit stories are the people who try to be clever with where they work. SO annoying.
BS stories. No one says ma’am and sir like they do in these stories.
You have never met my grandson or maybe never lived in military housing. 😂✌️
The best part is the policeman got the reference
