    lol, was pretty excited to see where you got with this, as I too need some basic network monitoring and have a FreeBSD host ready for the job-- unfortunately things didn't pan out so well. Will see if I get any farther with it, or perhaps I might find something else that fits the bill. Cheers.

    Speaking of Docker, I would love to see BSD based container tech videos using Jails or whatever is preferred.

    Icinga is a fork of Nagios. So, it shouldn't be a surprise that Nagios plugins work.

    Freebsd 14.1 p3 has removed lots of packages like ffmpeg from quarterly and latest because they didnt build,
    and ffmpeg also has a security issue as well
    so you cant install the ffmpeg package on 14.1 p3

      Keep watching latest ports tree/packages as there were also some fixes committed such as for libx265 needing a patch update.

    so poor to see stuff like that ;( there is reason why docker exists, so you don´t have to deal with all this shit you see in this video
