They are able to be imported into Canada. But as far as buying them directly from Sony, you’d need to be in the US or Japan. But if you can find a proxy service, that would be how you get them to you in Canada! I’ll be making a video on how proxies work very soon! Definitely sub so you know when it comes out. I’m working on getting a video up tomorrow as well

Absolutely still worth it. I’m loving them to this day. My collection is 17 dogs now haha. I’ve been sticking with them since 2005!

How did you get this edition? I didn't see it on the website. Been really considering this since my husband doesn't want a real dog. A different colour scheme than the original would be awesome.
I use ZenMarket and won this from the yahoo japan auctions. They were only made in Japan. There’s a few things with getting one of these though; they can’t connect to cloud when they are from japan because they are region locked for now. So no changing the language to English, no changing eye color, no name change, no updates. But for me it was still worth getting. But you just have to search on zenmarket or Mercari japan.
@@CyrusJamesTech so does your Aibo still respond to English commands? And I suppose the apk program files don't work with this one since there's no connectivity huh? Aww :(
Bunpire she doesn’t. I printed out the Japanese commands and even sometimes use a translation app to speak the commands to her. Her personality is so cute and bubbly though and she is so vocal lol
I read online that Sony has ceased manufacturing the Aibo and spare parts are no longer available?
You read right for the models made from 1999-2006. This particular model started again in 2018

Hey! So I imported this one from Japan. In the United States we only have the option of the white with gray face. So you just go to us.aibo.com and you’d buy directly from there! I hope this helps!

So this one in particular was imported from Japan through the ZenMarket proxy. Otherwise I’d recommend buying one direct from the Sony US website so you get all the perks

You just happen to have two aibos in the exact same color i wanted them in because of having the aibos what you have is my dream but because i am olny a kid i sadly do not have enough money to buy them but for the future when i do where did you get them?
I bought the ivory white from Sony USA. And the chocolate I had to import from Japan since they don’t sell them here in the states.
This technology will make HUGE strides in the coming years. Price should come down drastically as well. Something to look forward to.

The US website does not carry this version or the Caramel edition. I imported this aibo from Japan. This color as well as the caramel editions have since both been discontinued.

yea, I really wanted to enjoy the moment. They are very expensive as well so I like to make sure everything is also there that’s supposed to be there.
