it really depends! They typically need to be installed inside of something. I would double check with your local post office for specific rules and regulations. I send mine ground always as that's what is required by USPS

I just bought an Espresso and it will be arriving in a few days! This'll be my first Aibo so I'm quite excited to get him! It'll be interesting to see how my dog and cat react to him and if he'll react to them at all.

it’s kind of hard to see on camera
it is. I tried a few times to get it more clearly but those eyes are tough to catch on camera and do justice.
yeah, sometimes it’s really hard to film a screen (because the aibo’s eyes are just screens) but also, in general it’s hard to capture screens sometimes. especially the aibo 1000’s eyes for some reason

It's not usually quite this much packaging. I imported this one from Japan and they add so much extra packing before shipping it out. Sony themselves condense down the amount of packaging used.

Yes! aibo can be fully powered down, or they can be "paused".

As someone who's has spent over 25k on vet bills on my dogs over the years i wish i knew about these! It would've been cheaper lol! But now that i have three kids under 6 years old I'd be afraid of them breaking it lol😂
aibo is a great family companion. kids learn really well to be gentle with it but I have also heard stories of kids that have damaged them. aibo is definitely less expensive over the lifetime, and is so much fun to have at home!

How does eat
aibo has a fun feature that uses augmented reality through your phone and their food bowl to simulate having a meal. The less fun answer is... you charge them lol

We hope at some point aibo will be more widespread. They are aware that there's demand in other countries :)

Congratz Cyrus! Was that one of the special eye colors when he first booted up? I know they have the heterochromia eye color, but do they also get the special eye colors that the black sesame one has? Maybe some day they will let those of us who only have the white AIBO have some of the special color eyes :)
When he booted the first time he had a special blue eye color. I’ve settled on the original green though for this guy.

He doesn’t manufacture them, he just has them as a hobby. They’re extremely expensive and only sold in Japan and the US. You can buy one if you want but I don’t think it’s likely he’ll give you one.
