Sliders do not make good entry doors. Perhaps youngsters could cope with the nonstandard stairs, but a railing is required for safety! There is no second means of egress. There is very little kitchen storage and no closet for clothes!

I really like all these design ideas, but I don’t understand why there is no space for jackets and dirty shoes when you come inside.

I might like this one if the loft had a toilet and wash basin upstairs. Also closet space. The kitchen is on the small size but if you would put a half bath downstairs and full bath upstairs, this kitchen could be expanded some.
