South Sudanese people are surprisingly the most welcoming and peacefull people you'll ever meet. I'm Kenyan and my grandmother used to provide food to some South Sudanese family who were refugees as she had a small local restaurant. The family got asylum in some western country and once they were doing well, they helped my grandma build a new house. To be honest I can never forget them wherever they are!
What a heartwarming story! It’s amazing how acts of kindness can create lasting bonds that transcend borders and cultures. The generosity of the South Sudanese family towards your grandmother is truly inspiring. Have you ever thought about reconnecting with them to see how their lives have unfolded since then?
I believe you cos I am a South Sudan citizen who base outside world and my phone is full of people who are not related to each other’s but I do assist them not because I have a enough but it’s good to show kindness

Oh just stop with the "but muh leaders". Stop blaming everyone else. Take responsibility for your own BS. It's the citizens fault because y'all tolerate it, now live with it.
@@A_Stereotypical_Heretic you are so low iq. By this logic it's the us citizens fault that the national debt went up by $25 trillion since 2001. Also that means German citizens are at fault for letting in 6 million refugees to their country in 2016 alone. Ah yes that would also mean that Ukranian citizens are at fault for the war inside their country and let's not forget about Mexico where the people are responsible for letting Cartels take over not the politicians. 😂and I bet you're the type of guy to blame it on the 👃people at the end of the day 🥱🥱🥱🥱

God Bless the people of Sudan🙏
South Sudanese are best people on planet, i lived with them in college back in USA, after 7years now ww r still very close friends ❤
Up untill you're leaving in their country, they are some of the most hostile human beings I've come across in east Africa. So much trauma from the war and colorism they experienced while still under Sudan.
You can still see the pain and aggression they've suffered 😢
Watching from Kenya 🇰🇪

I knew a couple of guys from South Sudan who moved to the US and they now own a junk hauling company with a couple of trucks. My husband is a mechanic and we used to own a mobile repair business and we worked on their trucks. They were about the nicest most hardworking dudes I’ve ever met! Now I know why! WOW!
Where did they get the money for everything? Must come from a rich family. How did they get visas?
Just stop lying

Great people and great film, thank you.
One of the best documentary I ever seen
This is likely the most heartbreaking documentary I've ever seen. I can't believe what tenacity these unfortunate souls demonstrate.

Watching from kampala Uganda
The look on those poor children on that abandoned island just broke my heart. I can not imagine what these children have to go through just to make it in life. It is hard to imagine the huge difference between those who have and those who live in absolute poverty.
The people are resilient. They will thrive and become a strong nation.
Thank you
And hopefully will become safer eventually.
Bersyukur banget tinggal diindonesia, terimakasih sudan telah memberi syukur kepada jiwa ini❤
تحية تقدير وحب لجنوبنا الحبيب🥰🇸🇸🇸🇩💕
Every time I watch one of these documentaries I am so grateful to have been born in Europe.. I would not survive an hour over there and those poor people live their entire lives like that :(
This is so sad these people deserve better. They need proper roads why can’t they have unity and make a better life for themselves and their families.😊
