South Sudanese people are surprisingly the most welcoming and peacefull people you'll ever meet. I'm Kenyan and my grandmother used to provide food to some South Sudanese family who were refugees as she had a small local restaurant. The family got asylum in some western country and once they were doing well, they helped my grandma build a new house. To be honest I can never forget them wherever they are!

What a heartwarming story! It’s amazing how acts of kindness can create lasting bonds that transcend borders and cultures. The generosity of the South Sudanese family towards your grandmother is truly inspiring. Have you ever thought about reconnecting with them to see how their lives have unfolded since then?

This is why Whites are being called racists because we don't want this and worse than this in our countries. Nothing against these people, they are who they are. That still don't give them a right to come to European lands. This makes me grateful to be from those lands also.

Being a South Sudanese, this is definitely the best documentary I watched about my Country after "DINKA, THE LEGENDARY CATTLEKEEPERS" ON NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC. My country possesses abudant resources that have potential to mitigate any disaster, but the corrupt leaders impeded the country's development. We hope this regime could end in nearest future and good leadership could succeed inorder to rebuild what was left by the war during liberation period instead of destroying what was left by the war.

@@A_Stereotypical_Heretic you are so low iq. By this logic it's the us citizens fault that the national debt went up by $25 trillion since 2001. Also that means German citizens are at fault for letting in 6 million refugees to their country in 2016 alone. Ah yes that would also mean that Ukranian citizens are at fault for the war inside their country and let's not forget about Mexico where the people are responsible for letting Cartels take over not the politicians. 😂and I bet you're the type of guy to blame it on the 👃people at the end of the day 🥱🥱🥱🥱

What I can assure you this country is beautiful adorned with the most resilient and respectful people I have ever come across. Still you didn't hear us Acholi of South Sudan speaking then, that's typical Luo. eg. we called water PEE in Acholi, and then try and ask any Luo in Kenya how they called it, you will hear the same PEE.
      Otherwise check my own name.
My uncle is called Opio, same for the great great grandfather of Barack Obama.
Kenya Luo traced their origin from Sudan.

@@duncanocheing4621 I once watched a video with the Acholi of Uganda and noted that big similarity with Luos. Your names are similar too. That's quite interesting

The Mundari, cattle camp one, would be closer to Maasai. The Dinka, boat ones, are closer to Luo.

Up untill you're leaving in their country, they are some of the most hostile human beings I've come across in east Africa. So much trauma from the war and colorism they experienced while still under Sudan.
You can still see the pain and aggression they've suffered 😢

My husband is a mechanic and we used to own a mobile repair business and we worked on their trucks. They were about the nicest most hardworking dudes I’ve ever met! Now I know why! WOW!
