For those of you who find this extreme, he isn’t saying football is haram. He is simply saying that WATCHING football is haram due to the promotions and free mixing. Like he said, it is their job to spread the ruling and if you don’t find it right then it up to you to accept it or not. Ustadh clearly explains that playing football with your brothers is allowed.
It's more to do with how much you "love" football, compared to many other things (halal) you could be doing, rather than jumping around like hooligans, or when attending a place where alcohol is being spilt all over the show. The stadiums are full of thugs and drunkeds!

Thus you even commenting on this app is haraam Don't you see the nonsensical leaps in logic made here ? Radical/ extreme thinking such as this is what keeps people away from islam
A few things Ustaadh may have missed: • TV companies constantly focusing on beautiful women - especially during international games • Players lying and pretending they got hurt/fouled • Missing the Salaah or delaying it. If you are praying during the game you mind is on the game, not the Salah (especially crucial games like finals) • Exaggeration in praise to the level of Kufr ("So and so is the God of football", "Hand of God" etc) • Speaking ill of Muslim footballers who do not play for your team • Pressure on Muslims to become a "proper football fans" to the point some painted the St George's cross on their beard etc • Watching women presenters wearing inappropriate clothing • Finding pleasure in the music played before/after the game (YNWA, CL anthem etc)
There's no way around it for people who are mocking the ustadh, they know its haram but they are acting and playing clowns, reverse psychology because the truth hurts too much

I haven't watched the entire podcast yet and not sure if the following two important harms were discussed: football fuels the gambling and alcohol industries. Gambling companies sponsor the shirts of many football teams and there's never a game of football without drunkenness and lewedness. The more airtime we give to modern day football on our TV (even more severe if actually attending the games) the more we become accepting and desensitised to these two harms (instead of warning against them). This is the reality of football. Other than that, football as a sport/exercise is of course harmless provided one is not preoccupied with it.
Allah forgive our sins. Protect us from destroying all our good deeds. Allah have mercy on our parents. Allah forgive the Muslim men and women. Allah forgive the believing men and women. And send your peace and blessings upon our leader and prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and his family and sahaabah and wives. Ameen
If you don't understand then there's no point having the conversation. Some people have an attachment to the sport because they enjoy watching it, so what? Just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean you have to.
I heard a story from a ustad that…One man supporter of a premier league team,,,during his death bed his wife was saying him to say Laa ilaha illah (There’s none worthy of worship except Allah) but he was keep saying his team name/name of the player and died like this in England! Nauzubillah! May Allah subhanahuwatala protect us.
Please could you talk about the law of attraction قانون الجذب, neuro linguistic programming, believe in energies and the likes. More and more muslims are falling into this trap, believing that they're using only the "Islamic aspects" of these philosophies, claiming it had to do with حسن الظن بالله. It would be so much needed! @@hardcoreholly1161 so what's your point? And how do you know he hasn't addressed the people of that country? Surely he wouldn't need to address us English speakers because that's the point of his channel that they bring beneficiary knowledge to the English speakers(of course anyone can benefit) and we already have all fitnas in our western world. But a country that is not westernised but has evil things happening in it you can't judge him if it's not found in his channel. Like I said, it's haram for you to make assumptions of what dawah his done or not, this channel is NOT the only work of Dawah or forbidden the evil and enjoining the good he does. Fear Allāh, he is a grown man and knows what he is doing and I don't think you have enough knowledge or wisdom to be shaming anyone or judging them. You think with your comment you are benefiting anyone? and HAVE YOU addressed Saudi to English speakers or to the Muslims in Saudi Arabia? Well, have you? I don't think so, other wise you would of being a person who fears Allāh to not speak ill of your brother who is educating the people, but assisted him, well, isn't it more than the time where Muslims come together in the fight against the enemies of Islām spreading evil and trying to put out the Light of Allāh(though they can never) just as the join hands against Islām? You are upset about what Saudi is doing, don't you know we all see the criminals? You think in the Deen we can just make videos critiquing what a Muslim(though I wouldn't call bms a Muslim)country is doing? You think khuruj is just allowed and EVEN if it becomes permissable you think it's just for anyone, for those outside that country? I admit a lot of evil is taking place in our sacred lands and I hope(pray) the people there rectify their leaders for corruption is spreading there. Having said that, Arabia(particularly saudi-though I don't like referring to it there name because it isn't their fathers land rather conquered by Rasullullah alayhi salatu wa salam and the Sahabah,so it'sthe land of The ALL Muslim hence prefer it's original name) is not like other lands of the Muslims because it's the heart of Islām and the 2 sacred lands so Allāh has better plans for it than other Muslims lands and is protecting His Sacred House. It's not just Pakistan or Somalia etc where people can just take steps easily(not that they should in other Muslim countries since khoruuj is prohibited unless it becomes so by CLEAR Shariah). Take a look at Somalia, a good example for those who have eyes, ears and intelligence, that's how evil it is before examples of other lands or in history. Don't assume of your brothers what you don't know of, if you have an issue, assist and aid them or advice them or stay silent(unless there is bid'ah or kufur you want to wipe out from the Muslims). This channel is for education, particularly English speakers, not for politics and what he engages in of politics I.e enjoining the good and forbidding the evil I.e sending letters to corrupt leaders or dawah is something you are unaware of. Having in come the Time Muslims wake up and against the enemies of the Deen. This is one of the reasons why the Ummah is like this! What people you think following the enemies’s country(such and such country vs …) is gonna fix suadi or other Muslim land. We can even fix our own households. My own nephew was sooo quick to help me when I was soo tired caring for an elderly parent(may Allāh bless and guide him because he did help) but to off to watch the match. What youth are you think to fix saudi? When they are celebrating with the kufar or in jail or selling drugs? Where are even their elders? Who exactly are you seeking to fix saudi? We can’t even control the men let alone us females(no feminist attacking because yes majority of our ladies and girls are lost, and I can say almost due to our men lacking their responsibilities for them, shows how weak or lost our men have become). You think if our households are living like kufar we can dare to speak of saudi. So you think it’s wise for the Shiekh to make a video criticising saudi is wise? That some ignorant fools won’t go and take arms against it and cause fighting there where Muslims blood would shed in the sacred lands including the 2 sacred Masājids? You think that’s smart? DO YOU EVEN THINK that the people there are silent? Islām is not the laws of the kufar so we don’t go make trouble every where and leave no stone turned. We have a strict Shariah and not it’s not for Tom dick or Harry to speak or do anything in. Yes,the Ummah needs to fix up, but DO WE START with saudi or our own community and the general masses? 1st our own selves, we work out words we don’t start outward. If we take arms against them, what kind of people do you think would rule it? Has Somalia rested for more than 30yrs? We are all over and struggling rich or poor, everyone wants to be in his homelands! Is that what you want for saudi? That you give a open gate to the kufar to enter it and CAN WE THEN PROTECT it? Be smart and think with the Shariah. Never can any good come from khuruj and if it’s done In Saudi(unless otherwise) there just a door for kufar who spend billions on oil and who BITE their fingers to get in Makkah. You are not being smart my brother. We have to be smart saudi doesn’t belong to Saud it contains the 2 scared lands so people have to fear Allāh in regards to it. Send a letter to mbs. This isn’t just about the Ustadh rather anyone coming out publicly. Please take no offence but I hope it’s an insight for you that we don’t just go and make videos. We don’t want blood spill in the sacred lands, it has to go through shariah AND for the Muslims there.

@@nullhyp935 no. Everything must be seen in the light of Quran
Ann Sunnah. If it fails that it’s haram. Islam applies to the end of time and in all situations. We need to watch if what we do conforms to Islamic standards. Ustadh is highlighting all that is against this in football. We should see the red flags he talks about. Most sports fans can relate
@@safiasaleh7322 im convinced that some people here lack critical thinking; you do realise that going by his logic... you watching or even going on youtube is considered haraam too since you are using something that runs on "man-made" code/ laws that were probably engineered by a majority party of disbelievers to which you have agreed to their terms and conditions before using it. Thus you even commenting on this app is haraam
Don't you see the nonsensical leaps in logic made here ? Radical/ extreme thinking such as this is what keeps people away from islam
A few things Ustaadh may have missed:
• TV companies constantly focusing on beautiful women - especially during international games
• Players lying and pretending they got hurt/fouled
• Missing the Salaah or delaying it. If you are praying during the game you mind is on the game, not the Salah (especially crucial games like finals)
• Exaggeration in praise to the level of Kufr ("So and so is the God of football", "Hand of God" etc)
• Speaking ill of Muslim footballers who do not play for your team
• Pressure on Muslims to become a "proper football fans" to the point some painted the St George's cross on their beard etc
• Watching women presenters wearing inappropriate clothing
• Finding pleasure in the music played before/after the game (YNWA, CL anthem etc)

Us laymen must stick to people with clear knowledge, because if we listen to the critiques of other laymen they will just confuse us and lead us astray, because we ourselves are not equipped with the knowledge to defend against such accusations, so we are easily swayed. This really lacks in-depth critical thinking and heavily lacks contextual understanding. ARH and the host seem to draw a lot of conclusions from subjective anecdotes from their experiences to decide what is 'general' and what is 'extreme' in the first half of this podcast. Towards the second half, ARH's points continue to become more obtuse as the conversation progresses, highlighting his lack of general understanding of the sport.
