I love that look - rims, tires & lift so much that I did the exact same thing to my 2020 Voodoo Blue Tundra
Love the color, but for my personal preference i would prefer 18" or 20" wheels with less offset so the tires didn't stick out so far, height looks great though, think it's pointless to spend the money on a TRD pro to then just pull off the suspension
20’s are ugly. Especially on a Pro. 17’s are the way to go for a real off roader. More meat on the wheel. Only people in the city like them big 20 inch wheels

@@hidros1461 na 18’s are for people who didnt know you can add 17’s. I take my truck to the mountains and middle of no where. I need to air down as much as i can.
17's are definitely the way to go I've got them on my tundra and they look waaayyyy better than 18's and like he said more meat on the tire

Nah, running boards look lame, steps look cooler. I have the predator steps on my 2020 trd pro tundra and it makes a world of difference compared to boring old running boards

If he bought it at Longo, they don’t do the mark ups. That’s where I got my Voodoo Blue Tacoma. 👍🏼
Jose Ledesma that’s good to know. I’m between Bakersfield and LA but I’d go the extra distance to Longo to avoid markup pricing.
Definitely recommend to check them out! I searched for over a year to find a dealer that wasn’t doing mark ups. Check them out online and they will honor the quote they send you, just have to be a serious buyer! I was in and out in less then 45min.

Rubbing even w a zero offset. Oh boy. I got 18x9 plus20 and 35x12.5 on a 2.5 inch lift on my sequoia. No trimming. Hope it will fit when it comes in

Nice truck let me stop you right there first thing those seats are not leather Toyota chargers leather prices but basically they’re vinyl 20,000 miles I’ve already got a tear in one of mine and the voodoo blue paint seems to chip quite easily

@@RandallmPhillips I went 17" wheels on mine. They only come in 0 offset in 17" from Method. The 0 offset puts the tires out pretty far from the fender. Almost 1.5 inches id say maybe more. This is so the small rim can clear the calipers. I had about an 1/8th inch between the caliper and rim. Made the balancing very tricky because there is not alot of space to stick the weights. Took me a few road tests.
I mainly did it for looks, more tire looks bigger.
Sick build, I have a 2019 TRD pro as well. Didn’t want to touch the suspension or wheels so I added some 295/70/18 general grabbers x3 no rub. Beautiful, my question is what speedometer calibrator you guys use? My speedometer is off by 3MPH, any help is appreciated.

@greg hey man sorry for the late reply, no trimming at all brother! But just to clarify I have a 19’ TRD pro which comes with a factory lift. If you want that look go for it, just as now there isn’t a speedometer calibrator available for 19s and up. Spoke to some ppl over at hypertech and they have something cooking. Let’s see what happens. I’m only off by 1-3 mph not too bad for my taste I’m getting use to it. If you want it go for it.

Sure none of these trucks rub doing 5 mph in a flat parking lot. How about actual off-roading? That’s a true test of “not rubbing” full articulation. I bet few of these project trucks get wheeled at all.
