I’ve been going on FragranceNet for the past few weeks wishing to purchase MFK BR 540 but it was well over $700 for the 6.8 oz. Today I clicked the link in your description and I got 37% off which made it $497.99. I HAD TO PURCHASE IT!! The medium size (the one that you have) was around $350. so it only made sense - $150. for an extra 4 oz. more was a no brainer. To sweeten the deal I used afterpay!! I can not believe I just spent that kind of money on a bottle of perfume BUT I can’t help but think I saved so much for that HUGE bottle. 😂 Can you tell I’m still in shock and super excited and happy all at the same time? 😂 Thank you so much for your link! carrie kay it's not that perfume changes person to person, some people can smell some molecules and some can't. And our personal preferences determine the rest of our so-called "skin chemistry".
I got a sample of Libre in the spring and I absolutely hated it. But for some reason like you had mentioned about the other perfume that I kept going back to smell it , I kept spraying the sample on me and I’m like no I don’t like this I don’t like this . one day it was already summer I had it on and went out and with the sun and warm air hit my skin it just smelled absolutely amazing and I fell in love and it is like One of my all-time favorites scents now.
Alien is a jasmine bomb, in Thailand jasmine is common flower/scent and popular - mostly perceive as old fashion though.... I LOVE Alien but it keeps reminded of my primary teacher lol
I love Angel and Alien but because everybody wore them I couldn't smell them anymore. That's why they get so much hate but all Mugler Perfumes are incredible and unique!
Also to mention the Creamy sunshine of the Aqualina Pink sugar line is pretty much the budget version of Yellow Diamond by Versace ,but in a way a little better .
I hated REM at first… like was horrified that I had spent money in it and was thinking I would never wear it again lol. Now I love it. Wearing it as I type this. I have like 100 fragrances and REM genuinely smells unique to my collection with the lavender and salty notes
Kayali Vanilla 28, I got a sample of it and when I smelled it I did not understand the hype at all and felt it just smelled off on my skin. I heard someone say that once it turns into a darker colour like most vanilla scents do it becomes its' best. I tried it again and I absolutely loved it and my boyfriend also loves it when I wear it too which is a bonus.
I agree - I hated Fancy at first too but after my bottle aged I love it now! Also I’m an Angel girl - but honestly I like the Dossier dupe MORE! It has more honey!!

I hated Lost Cherry when I first tried it, & was actually annoyed I could still smell it the next day lol. A year later I have a 100ml, a travel size & have pretty much decided its my signature scent! Thanks for the great content!
I love Angel. I see so many people talking crap on her but she’s an icon. She’s so sweet, cotton candy, melon, honey, fruits, and of course chocolate. I love it. Mesmerizing and one of a kind. Works well on my skin, too. For me it was Cloud, I tested it a bunch of times and was like no way, then I ended up loving it and now it’s a favorite!
I was wearing Baccarat Rouge 540 and every time I wear it would smell differently. Till the point when one day I sprayed it on me and hated the smell. So I had to give it to my mom. Surprisingly my mom loved it at first- she described it being coniferous forest smell. Lately she got anosmia on it and is not able to smell it all ! I started wearing Baccarat Rouge extract in red bottle and it smells better to me.
I absolutely hate BR540 and the extrait, to me there is no sweetness at all it just smells like a resinous hospital. I wish I got what everyone else does, I keep sampling but nothing is changing. Sigh

Must admit even though I loved the aesthetic/themes/colour schemes/designs of them both, I used to weirdly dislike Lacoste Inspiration and Gucci Envy Me fragrances. However that was due to going through a painful dark time. But, while there's a bit of a painful reminder in those scents, they still make wonderful smells especially if mixed in and layered with other fragrances (I love a large number of them, including the aforementioned two!)
I live in East texas and I'm into perfumes I have a good scent memory of alot of scents. However around here maybe because of the heat most of the year alot of people don't smell like a perfume unless she's an older lady in church. The younger ones I have smelled I could guess their scent and it was usually Paris Hilton the original, viva la juicy, or into the night. If its my mom jodore, Haiku, or Michael kors glam jasmine! It would be cool to smell different scents on everyone around me when I go out though.

I had the opposite with Myway, I don't have it anymore. I wore it last year summer and it was like one of my loved sig-scent, but since I started medicine, I thought it had gone off very fast because it smells to me rotten, green and bitter to the point it made me sick. But I found an even better perfume, which I already had at that time is JPG So Scandal. Omg! Better than myway, as its more fruity and creamy and bubblegummy at the same time. Just wow 💕
I used to hate Black Orchid, but I tried it again a few days ago and this time I waited for it to dry down…and it’s so beautiful and dark. Contemplating getting a small bottle now. My scarf still smells like it and it’s been days.
Some of my favs are "Gucci Guilty" "Chanel no 5" Bond no 9 (i forget the name). I like buying affordable hidden gems. I just bought some today that you suggested. Thx sis cant wait to get em!
On the topic of Mugler, it would be cool seeing a video on the brand. I think some of the newest flankers are too much weaker than the originals. I wonder if brands are purposefully making perfumes weaker so they get used faster and are repurchased quicker. I’m talking flankers from the last couple years.. even a handful of years back and Mugler was making sillage monsters, like aura and muse.
Such a great video. I have many perfumes that we’re a strong dislike at first but turned to a strong like to love. Mancera Roses Vanille, Sofia by Sofia Vergara, Angel eau sucree by Mugler, the og Angel but I love love the new Edt of Angel better. It’s sometimes just takes wearing it and working with it to turn us around.
I completely feel you on this! I’m actually a mugler collector, but I despised Angel EDP. I got Angel EDT the other day & it literally is prob one of my top 5 in my perfume collection. Which blows my mind
If you are still not sure about Angel, go for ⭐️Angel EDT ⭐️ It is toned down but still has the personality of a EDP. I can’t handle the original but the EDT is beautiful, wearable and sexy ✨
I blind bought Alien and the Jasmine note is too much but I will give it a try again. Also the fragrance I also bought ( YT made me buy it) was Rouge by Rihanna, this I still can’t get it, is the leather masculine note that I get. Love your video!! As you said , I will try these fragrances outside and hope I change my mind.
l also got Rouge and at first loved it, could smell the leather but after one wear only l can smell now is pepermint and pink pepper, at first it was leather and sprite but now it too peppery and minty sharp....but who knows maybe I'll like later. what notes do you feel?
Yeah I get this! I’ve changed my mind on some fragrances I never thought I’d go for. I feel like, if I feel strongly about something (good or bad) I might change my mind but either way they stick in my mind. Usually the ones that are meh from the beginning usually stay meh.. 🤣
When I first got pink sugar i hated it I hated the burnt cotton candy note it was too sharp for me but then like an hour later I was like what if that smell it smells so good and I realized it was the pink sugar it settled into a fresh cookie vanilla sent and I loved it and I still love it and wear it to bed almost every night and during winter

Omg I was so disappointed when I smelled baccarat rouge 540 🙄 nothing spectacular about it...but it is 1 of those ppl pleaser scents i guess 🤷🏻♀️ & I recently purchased the chanel eau tendre & sent it back 😭 it's too much of a unoriginal scent for me, otherwise it is a nice simple scent, just not for me.

I don't know why but my experience has been to love a perfume and then eventually hate it. For example Dior Joy, I sniffed it when it first came out and I had to have it, only to realise I actually hated it 🤷🏻♀️
I’m going to have to go actually spray on alien because I smelled it at macys and decided I hated it as well! Lol! I definitely want to give it a fair chance:)

You literally take the words out of my mouth!! I’m much older than you but the vibe’s the same 🙂. Yes on the Pink Sugar ( still dislike) and yes on Channel’s perfumes ( can’t figure out the craze). For me, I really disliked YSL Libre the first time I smelled it, I guess it was the lavender note ( I’m not a huge fan of lavender), but now, it is one of my staples!
I used to love florals but now I can't wear them very well. They give me a headache. I think your chemistry changes, hormone changes etc. I smelled Alien on a girl at my work and it was beautiful...so different.

I hate Alien but now I feel like I should pull it out & try again. Sadly I am not able to smell BR 540.I am at the end of my bottle & won't repurchase it again. I can smell the 540 extrait a bit more but not enough to buy. Angel was my signature sent for 20+ years & it's my husbands favorite on me. I have started to enjoy the flankers as well. ❤️

Most of the ones you mentioned, I felt the same way, but now I like them!☺️ this week I have Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and Chanel Tendre in my perfume tray rotation.
A scent that I started off hating was Armani Si Passione (the red one) at first when I smelt it I sprayed it on my skin in Ulta and was like nahhh… Lol but when I left the store, and it started to dry down a bit I noticed how much I had to go back and get it. Idk what it was but I was like wow this actually smells amazing!
Ksenja, can you try Pepe Jeans For Her (the original), I'm sure you will love it, it has a very nice makeupy scent, kinda like a lipstick and it's such a hidden gem!
I think alien smells great, I don’t understand why it’s so polarizing, I don’t find it offensive or even strange, smells like a beautiful deep floral, and I don’t like florals but it’s just so well balanced.
There are so many fragrances that I used to dislike that I now love, it's a really funny thing but it happens. I usually give them three chances/wears before I make a final decision about them. I also used to dislike Fancy and now I really like it and wear it a lot. I can't even believe I'm having to buy a second bottle of it :) Ugh, BR 540 is a no-go for me though because of chemistry issues. I can't wear fragrances that have a lot of ambroxan and there is a heavy dose of it in this one. I've tried many of it's dupes but they either make my skin break out or they react like the BR 540, I've given up on all of them at this point. What's really weird is that I adored Alien and then one day I wore it and all I got from it was indoles - mothballs - something changed and I haven't been able to wear it since because that's all I smell in it now..... go figure, very sad. I love the Angel dry down, it's divine. A lot of people get tons of chocolate from it but I have to layer it with like Choco Musk to get it. However, the Angel Liqueur is very chocolatey and I love it dearly. Great video Ksenja, thanks!!

I bought a decant of Baccarat rouge and I fell in love immediatly, no medicinal scent for me, just something floral and sweet. I'm scared to actually buy a full bottle of it in case I just got a batch that happened to fit what I like. What if I buy a full bottle and it's medicinal 😭 A perfume for me that went from hate to love is Guerlain Terracotta. I bought Terracotta when I just started collecting perfumes and went in thinking it would be tropical and coconutty but then I only got florals and I didn't like florals back then. So I set it aside and bought more perfumes and went back to it a few weeks ago and now I like the florals alot more, still no coconut though, bummer...
I never even understood how people smelled coconut in it, I got only florals too+the guerladine, the guerlain DNA found in all their perfumes. Anyways, I never got coconut in Tresor nude, neither Versace Crystal noir or The Only one intense🙄😂

Yes I've had a sample of Alien Goddess when it came out, it smells good but too synthetic for me, and my sample turned really awful with the air after a while. In any case not worth buying for me, but Mugler is really not my favourite perfume house😑. I love ONLY the mugler cologne the green one, it's amazing.

Angel and A'man( the male version ) are pretty much identical in general most of Muglers are unisex for example Womanity and Aura EDP Angel Muse EDP. I suggest you to buy River of Love by LA Rive pretty much identical dupe to Angel EDP get it just to get used to the real deal Angel EDP .
Omg!!!! I ordered Candy YumYum and received it today. I’ve only had it on for a few minutes but I’m loving it. It seems very similar to Skylar Magic Bloom which I love. The notes are totally different but I swear they smell just alike. I would love to get you opinion. It also reminds me a lot of Angel Nova EDP as well.

I wonder if brands are purposefully making perfumes weaker so they get used faster and are repurchased quicker. I’m talking flankers from the last couple years.. even a handful of years back and Mugler was making sillage monsters, like aura and muse.
Such a great video. I have many perfumes that we’re a strong dislike at first but turned to a strong like to love. Mancera Roses Vanille, Sofia by Sofia Vergara, Angel eau sucree by Mugler, the og Angel but I love love the new Edt of Angel better. It’s sometimes just takes wearing it and working with it to turn us around.
I completely feel you on this! I’m actually a mugler collector, but I despised Angel EDP. I got Angel EDT the other day & it literally is prob one of my top 5 in my perfume collection. Which blows my mind
If you are still not sure about Angel, go for ⭐️Angel EDT ⭐️ It is toned down but still has the personality of a EDP. I can’t handle the original but the EDT is beautiful, wearable and sexy ✨
I blind bought Alien and the Jasmine note is too much but I will give it a try again. Also the fragrance I also bought ( YT made me buy it) was Rouge by Rihanna, this I still can’t get it, is the leather masculine note that I get. Love your video!! As you said , I will try these fragrances outside and hope I change my mind.

l also got Rouge and at first loved it, could smell the leather but after one wear only l can smell now is pepermint and pink pepper, at first it was leather and sprite but now it too peppery and minty sharp....but who knows maybe I'll like later.

@LavaLampa Yes, I definitely smell the leather. It's such a unique fragrance. My husband made a comment that I smell good while wearing that perfume.

Yeah I get this! I’ve changed my mind on some fragrances I never thought I’d go for. I feel like, if I feel strongly about something (good or bad) I might change my mind but either way they stick in my mind. Usually the ones that are meh from the beginning usually stay meh.. 🤣
I actually just got rid of Fancy. I loved it when I first got it and smelled only caramel. Now it’s a floral caramel and way too sharp for me.
Everyone loves Fancy for this yummy caramel and it smells like straight up white florals on me :(

When I first got pink sugar i hated it I hated the burnt cotton candy note it was too sharp for me but then like an hour later I was like what if that smell it smells so good and I realized it was the pink sugar it settled into a fresh cookie vanilla sent and I loved it and I still love it and wear it to bed almost every night and during winter

Omg I was so disappointed when I smelled baccarat rouge 540 🙄 nothing spectacular about it...but it is 1 of those ppl pleaser scents i guess 🤷🏻♀️ & I recently purchased the chanel eau tendre & sent it back 😭 it's too much of a unoriginal scent for me, otherwise it is a nice simple scent, just not for me.

I don't think there is a " placebo effect " when it comes to perfume. Everyone has different taste and perfume smells different and performes different on everyone

I don't know why but my experience has been to love a perfume and then eventually hate it. For example Dior Joy, I sniffed it when it first came out and I had to have it, only to realise I actually hated it 🤷🏻♀️
I’m going to have to go actually spray on alien because I smelled it at macys and decided I hated it as well! Lol! I definitely want to give it a fair chance:)

Thanks for your lovely, down-to-earth videos. Just joined the party and have been binging on your videos whenever I have some down time. I agree with most of your takes on a lot of these perfumes. You literally take the words out of my mouth!! I’m much older than you but the vibe’s the same 🙂. Yes on the Pink Sugar ( still dislike) and yes on Channel’s perfumes ( can’t figure out the craze).
For me, I really disliked YSL Libre the first time I smelled it, I guess it was the lavender note ( I’m not a huge fan of lavender), but now, it is one of my staples!

I used to love florals but now I can't wear them very well. They give me a headache. I think your chemistry changes, hormone changes etc. I smelled Alien on a girl at my work and it was beautiful...so different.

I hate Alien but now I feel like I should pull it out & try again. Sadly I am not able to smell BR 540.I am at the end of my bottle & won't repurchase it again. I can smell the 540 extrait a bit more but not enough to buy. Angel was my signature sent for 20+ years & it's my husbands favorite on me. I have started to enjoy the flankers as well. ❤️

A scent that I started off hating was Armani Si Passione (the red one) at first when I smelt it I sprayed it on my skin in Ulta and was like nahhh… Lol but when I left the store, and it started to dry down a bit I noticed how much I had to go back and get it. Idk what it was but I was like wow this actually smells amazing!
Ksenja, can you try Pepe Jeans For Her (the original), I'm sure you will love it, it has a very nice makeupy scent, kinda like a lipstick and it's such a hidden gem!
I think alien smells great, I don’t understand why it’s so polarizing, I don’t find it offensive or even strange, smells like a beautiful deep floral, and I don’t like florals but it’s just so well balanced.
There are so many fragrances that I used to dislike that I now love, it's a really funny thing but it happens. I usually give them three chances/wears before I make a final decision about them. I also used to dislike Fancy and now I really like it and wear it a lot. I can't even believe I'm having to buy a second bottle of it :) Ugh, BR 540 is a no-go for me though because of chemistry issues. I can't wear fragrances that have a lot of ambroxan and there is a heavy dose of it in this one. I've tried many of it's dupes but they either make my skin break out or they react like the BR 540, I've given up on all of them at this point. What's really weird is that I adored Alien and then one day I wore it and all I got from it was indoles - mothballs - something changed and I haven't been able to wear it since because that's all I smell in it now..... go figure, very sad. I love the Angel dry down, it's divine. A lot of people get tons of chocolate from it but I have to layer it with like Choco Musk to get it. However, the Angel Liqueur is very chocolatey and I love it dearly. Great video Ksenja, thanks!!

Omg I also hated fancy because everyone said it was a super sweet gourmand but when I first smelt it it spelled like a grandma, but them one day I wore it and now I enjoy wearing it.
I bought a decant of Baccarat rouge and I fell in love immediatly, no medicinal scent for me, just something floral and sweet. I'm scared to actually buy a full bottle of it in case I just got a batch that happened to fit what I like. What if I buy a full bottle and it's medicinal 😭
A perfume for me that went from hate to love is Guerlain Terracotta. I bought Terracotta when I just started collecting perfumes and went in thinking it would be tropical and coconutty but then I only got florals and I didn't like florals back then. So I set it aside and bought more perfumes and went back to it a few weeks ago and now I like the florals alot more, still no coconut though, bummer...
I never even understood how people smelled coconut in it, I got only florals too+the guerladine, the guerlain DNA found in all their perfumes. Anyways, I never got coconut in Tresor nude, neither Versace Crystal noir or The Only one intense🙄😂

I haven't tried the others yet, I tried The only one and didn't like it so held off on trying the Intense but now I'm curious if I would smell the coconut

Yes I've had a sample of Alien Goddess when it came out, it smells good but too synthetic for me, and my sample turned really awful with the air after a while. In any case not worth buying for me, but Mugler is really not my favourite perfume house😑. I love ONLY the mugler cologne the green one, it's amazing.
Angel EDT is doable when the actual angel is so strong

Angel and A'man( the male version ) are pretty much identical in general most of Muglers are unisex for example Womanity and Aura EDP Angel Muse EDP. I suggest you to buy River of Love by LA Rive pretty much identical dupe to Angel EDP get it just to get used to the real deal Angel EDP .
I also love D&G Light Blue for summer. Perfect!
Omg!!!! I ordered Candy YumYum and received it today. I’ve only had it on for a few minutes but I’m loving it. It seems very similar to Skylar Magic Bloom which I love. The notes are totally different but I swear they smell just alike. I would love to get you opinion. It also reminds me a lot of Angel Nova EDP as well.
