Gardenia is my grandmother's signature note and yeah, it is very grandmotherly. I could never see myself wearing a heavy gardenia perfume, but I'm finding that I love it in home scents and on others. It just reminds me of her and it makes me feel so nostalgic and comfy. She's 91 but still gets up every morning and gets on her little rowing machine, makes turmeric eggs and broccoli for breakfast every day, feeds all the stray cats in the neighborhood, and takes care of her beautiful garden. She's INCREDIBLY smart, way too humble, keeps up with current events, she's warm and welcoming to absolutely everyone, and even though I live so far away and I'm not the best at staying in touch she always understands. I found a photo of her and my granddaddy from like 1934 when they got married and I always knew she was stunning but she literally looks like a movie star. It's killing me that I might have seen her for the last time this year. Anyway, sorry about the long rant but I had to talk about that amazing lady. I know gardenia isn't everyone's fave right now, but I might end up getting something with it when she passes just to smell like her.

I'd like to see a "Celebrity Perfume layering with Body mist" video to create an AMAZING EXPENSIVE smelling creation. *example i layer "Elizabeth&James Nirvana Rose" with B&Body Works "You're the One" and it smells sooooo crazy good, everything the perfume lacks the body spray has and it creates a gorgeous scent. Folks at work think its some Tom Ford perfume. And Donna Karan "Cashmere Mist" with B&BW's "Snowflakes and Cashmere "...😘ahhh Chef's kiss 💋

I bought Mariah Carey's "M" because of Curly Scents video with the 2 guys picking their favorite celebrity perfume....and I hated it!!!! Until....I paired it with Bath& Body Works "Fireside Flurries", both have marshmallow notes but "M" needed the softness of the pink lavender and Cashmere woods in Fireside Flurries to take away from the incense heavy notes in it. And together, it smells like a totally diffrent perfume. I'd love your take on this😘

Oh my goodness! When you talked about the first fragrance, before revealing what the dupe was, I was sure you were going to say true reflection. I wore it this morning! I was really disappointed when I first tried it, but it was so much better when I tried it today, about a month after I got it. The patchouli was so smooth, just as you described it. The plum and the patchouli were really sweet and blended, pleasant. No sillage to speak of, but really enjoyable to apply.
Ellen Tracy’s Bronze is amazing. I got it for $10 and is is a sweet but light fragrance that smells very classy!

I have Gucci by Gucci and have had believe and I don’t find them comparable other than theyre in the same vein. The Gucci is smoother and has that honey. I’m going to have to try so,e Paris stuff though thank you for sharing!!

Tocca Florence has another affordable dupe! Pacifica's Tahitian Gardenia! I definitely recommend the glass perfume and not the body and hair mist! (I own both perfumes and wear the Tocca on my wrists and neck and the Pacifica on my clothes and chest) The Pacifica is $22 for a 1fl oz bottle and can be found at Target and Ulta ☺️

Your review is spot on, as usual! :) Another one to add, the celeb perfume Taylor Swift by Taylor Swift is nearly identical to Burberry Her. I can barely tell them apart but huge price difference. I swear the majority of perfumes out there are simply remakes of others!
Thanks for that tip, my mom loves Burberry her but always the price stops her from doing so so I’ll suggest her to get the Taylor swift fragrance. My mom is zero snub when it comes to perfumes she loves thank you next and really liked Ellish by by Billie Ellish.

Funny thing: the dollar store perfume dupe brand EAD makes a Lolita Lempicka dupe called Lovely Lady. And it actually smells ....good!!!! Read the reviews online. For $1.25 it is unbelievable. I laughed when l went and purchased it but l was humbled when l realized...l loved it😂

I just bought kim Kardashian true reflection from Burlington today as a blind buy, paid 9.99 ,as someone in there late 30s it would definitely be a date night scent for me, I also bought Ellen Tracey as a blind buy and I love it and paid the same price.

I know it's a lot to ask because it'd take some more buying on your part but could you review affordable perfumes by company? Cacharel, Jennifer Aniston, Ellen Tracy, Kenneth Cole, Revlon, Elizabeth Arden, Guess, Lucky, Alfred Sung, Liz Claiborne, Coty, Mirage, are just a few. As you say, just because its cheap doesn't necessarily mean it smells cheap. Hopefully, your purchases are tax deductible.

I don't think so at all. I LOVE Lolita, but can't stand angel. Angel is strong melon and patchouli, and I like patchouli, but the combo smells like straight armpits to me. Lolita is sweet licorice with some floral and vanilla, I really don't pick up on the cherry
