Unfortunately reality of Greek post when you do everything above boards and declare commercial product shipping with a LiPo battery. Hang tight, it'll definitely get there!
Not sure that'll ever happen. TerraOnion is not doing much in the way of active development anymore. MODE hasn't seen a FW update since 2021. Fingers crossed, though!
What about old saves files that you would want to use with individual virtual vmu? Like in your video. You copied your old Daytona USA save file to the VM2. If you then the start the game, it will create a new virtual VMU. Can you then copy your old save files and put it in the newly created virtual VMU for the game? I'm guessing yes, but any insights would be appreciated!
@@dalebonneau9443 a new virtual VMU is only automatically created once. I think you've basically answered your own question. Yes, you can copy old files to the virtual VMU and they'll live there forever more. They aren't automatically overwritten or anything. Is that what you mean?
@@derekpascarella As another exemple, to be more precise. Let's say I use the VM2 and play Sonic Adventure for the first time. It will create a virtual VMU on the VM2 for that game. If I have an old save game on an OG VMU and I want that original save data to be what's on the virtual VMU on the VM2 for that game, can I just copy that save data from my OG VMU to that virtual VMU on the VM2 that I just created and it will work? To be clear, i'm using the open menu with gdemu. I just received my VM2, but I will be ordering an sd card this week to test this all out very soon.
@@dalebonneau9443 the answer is yes. This is exactly what I show in my video. You exit to BIOS from openMenu (while the game is highlighted) and that virtual VMU is queued up. You'd insert old VMU into slot 2 and copy files. Easy.

There is no setting. You must be on the latest version of both openMenu and VM2 firmware for auto-switching to work.
