This whole build up people were talking about 'we've never seen the speed in a heavyweight like Gane' while Aspinall is probably slicker and quicker on the feet, tom has a bit to go but that could be the most exciting heavyweight fight in terms of styles
Gane always plays on the outside, that's his game. If this was a standup fight I think he would've eeked out a decision, but this is MMA and heavyweights can't grapple.
I think someone like Curtis Blaydes is someone who poses a threat based on his size and wrestling ability, that being said though. Jon's IQ is just supreme when it comes to MMA. Him and GSP are up there.

Lol no chance jones beats Gane in a kickboxing fight, Ganes striking is the biggest threat to jones hes an undefeated muay thai fighter its obvious jones knew how he would defeat him which was to take him down smother him and get a submission as his ground game and wrestling isnt elite like his striking
@@theultimate1019 Jon beat a lot of elite strikers on the feet that are more technical and even quicker than Gane, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he could do the same with Gane. There’s a lot of fighters in the light heavyweight that did a lot better than Gane.
yes hes the GOAT there is literally no valid argument at this point to counter. his outside antics should not factor in. GSP lost twice and got finished twice. also the resume is good but not a patch on jones Khabib maybe the most dominant fighter weve seen but he didn't end up fighting that many top 10 guys also didn't do it through generations and only 4 title defences. jon jones has defeated more former champions than khabib has fought top 10 guys Anderson if he had retired at the correct time would have been in the conversation but he has lost too many fights now to be in the conversation fedor unfortunately didnt do it in the ufc and has losses on his record jon accoplishments 15 title defences longest winning streak double champ youngest ever champion the most talented we have ever seen never dropped or rocked or had 10-8 round against him beat 3 generations of fighters the resume daniel cormier 2x former hw and lw champ shogan hua/former champ machida/ former champ rampage jackson/ former champ rashad evans /former champ glover texiera / former champ ryan bader / former champ chael sonnen / former champ vitor belfort / former champ gustafson x2 cyryl gane anthony smith dominick reyes brandon vera thats not even all of them, just off the top of my head his body of work has no equal
I'll say this. Jones is the GOAT, but Anderson Sliva is underrated of GOAT status. He had the record for the most title defenses, longest win streak, longest reigning champion in UFC history.
@@2ClutchCorey I agree in a lot ways. Does it matter than Anderson Sliva stayed to long and fought well past his Prime. I don't think this diminished his achievements. GSP is a double champ which a big for his resume. It is a good debate who is the GOAT after Jones. GSP was never tested positive for PED like Anderson and even Jones if that matter to people.
When a fighter makes it look easy, he wasn't tested, when a fighter gets tested or in a war he is getting old or the competition is starting to pass him by. Jone is going to have that Mayweather complex where he will make the legends look like rookies compared to himself. His IQ and ability are on another level and I don't see him ever truly being tested maybe pushed like in the past but no one will tested jones
Just because you have a war does not mean your too old or competition is too hard as we know MMA math doesn’t add up and if your still in your 20s there will definitely be a lot of room to improve and use your experience to work on the holes in your game
Mighty Mouse is the most skilled fighter I have seen but he will never be the Goat because he is a little dude, GSP, is the best pound for Pound I have ever seen, and Jones is probably the goat if weight classes and pound for pound is ignored,.

Idk but for me stipe is a Challenge even if he is old he has that exp also aspinal and blaydes which is good in wrestling. Other then these 2 or 3 no one can beat him at hw imo
Curtis Blades, Tom Aspinall & Sergei Pavlovich all pose different threats and are elite level heavyweights. After Stipe, if jones defends the belt against 2/3 of those. He’s the goat. Undeniably
for me hes cemented his place stronger for being the goat however for me he needs to defend the heavyweight belt against 2 opponents and he's undoubtedly the goat by head and shoulders, definitely if he beats stipe especially taking out the goat of the weightclass higher whilst being the goat of the light heavyweight division just makes the the most badass and greatest o all time
Jon will only fight two heavyweight fights and he will walk away . He will not risk Loseing his goat status by fighting more then two guys... My prediction is solid

Jon would’ve won Gane in a kicking boxing match as well! He’s so damn good everywhere!
Plus Gane isnt the biggest threat on the feet for Jon😅 we found that out. I don’t even think he even landed a strike before getting taken down. There’s a lot of fighters in the light heavyweight that did a lot better than Gane.
yes hes the GOAT there is literally no valid argument at this point to counter. his outside antics should not factor in.
GSP lost twice and got finished twice. also the resume is good but not a patch on jones
Khabib maybe the most dominant fighter weve seen but he didn't end up fighting that many top 10 guys also didn't do it through generations and only 4 title defences. jon jones has defeated more former champions than khabib has fought top 10 guys
Anderson if he had retired at the correct time would have been in the conversation but he has lost too many fights now to be in the conversation
fedor unfortunately didnt do it in the ufc and has losses on his record
jon accoplishments
15 title defences
longest winning streak
double champ
youngest ever champion
the most talented we have ever seen
never dropped or rocked or had 10-8 round against him
beat 3 generations of fighters
the resume
daniel cormier 2x former hw and lw champ
shogan hua/former champ
machida/ former champ
rampage jackson/ former champ
rashad evans /former champ
glover texiera / former champ
ryan bader / former champ
chael sonnen / former champ
vitor belfort / former champ
gustafson x2
cyryl gane
anthony smith
dominick reyes
brandon vera
thats not even all of them, just off the top of my head
his body of work has no equal
15 title defences? 🤡
I'll say this. Jones is the GOAT, but Anderson Sliva is underrated of GOAT status. He had the record for the most title defenses, longest win streak, longest reigning champion in UFC history.
Yeah Anderson had a better run than gsp
@@2ClutchCorey I agree in a lot ways. Does it matter than Anderson Sliva stayed to long and fought well past his Prime. I don't think this diminished his achievements. GSP is a double champ which a big for his resume. It is a good debate who is the GOAT after Jones. GSP was never tested positive for PED like Anderson and even Jones if that matter to people.
@@alexlilano1931 everyone was on something before usada people just dont want to accept this
Been banging out the content dude!
Jon just finding out how good he is if he train's hard
Jon jones is the goat. Period.
I've always seem mighty mouse as just a small version of Jon jones
You forgot about Sergei Pavlovich. He could be a real test for Jon Jones.
Pavlovich's takedown defense is bad. I think Jones takes him down and ground and pound TKOs him in 1 round
Pavolich literally got his ass whooped by out of his prime (not juiced) Allistair Overeem, he loses to Jon the same way.
HE IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME IN MMA HISTORY DEBATE OVER🗣!!
He did take it to Gane , so true again , love it bro
Best breakdown of the fight!
Don’t think we didn’t see you tweet and delete that Jon Jones would lose 👀
Jon Jones pod would be unreal
Sergei Pavlovich is the man who will give Bones the hardest fight at HW. It’s a 50/50 fight
didnt watched him but from what I've Heard he is only good at knocking people out what is his Ground game and grapling like and other atributes??
Idk but for me stipe is a Challenge even if he is old he has that exp also aspinal and blaydes which is good in wrestling.
Other then these 2 or 3 no one can beat him at hw imo
@@iamtheshadows4916 his wrestling is still unproven and blaydes fight in April 2023 gonna prove it
Brian knew damn well what he was doing with that title.
The only thing GSP had over Jones was the was a double champ. There is no doubt that Jones is the GOAT.
What?
Edit: nvm I read it again
Also GSP has never been banned for drugs
Curtis Blades, Tom Aspinall & Sergei Pavlovich all pose different threats and are elite level heavyweights. After Stipe, if jones defends the belt against 2/3 of those. He’s the goat. Undeniably
And somehow get that Francis fight
Jones is the the goat without a doubt it’s not even debatable
Jon is his only obstacle, I think he can beat every fighter in the top 10 if he's focused.
Geordie went Tina Turner in that intro
he needs to get the record for most heavy weight title defence's
Dude is a Mayweather and Jon Jones hater, it just so happen that both are black and Goats
🥣 was the perfect opponent to come back for after 3 years off. I think if he beats Stipe and then a blades or pavlovich then it’s truly undeniable
How is Stipe at 42 without a win in 3 years and Curtis Blades undeniable 😂😂😂. In every other division it's so embarrassing
There’s no way you think Jones needs to clear heavyweight for goat status 😭
Jones will fight in international fight week in July
for me hes cemented his place stronger for being the goat however for me he needs to defend the heavyweight belt against 2 opponents and he's undoubtedly the goat by head and shoulders, definitely if he beats stipe especially taking out the goat of the weightclass higher whilst being the goat of the light heavyweight division just makes the the most badass and greatest o all time
Bro, Aspinall needs at LEAST two wins straight to get a title shot. Jones will have retired by that time, get a grip
“There’s tougher matchups than gane” yet you and a bunch of people picked jon to lose. Constantly moving the goalpost.
Jon will only fight two heavyweight fights and he will walk away . He will not risk Loseing his goat status by fighting more then two guys... My prediction is solid
Jamal Hill at Heavyweight would be interested since he was able to handle glovers attempts at getting him to the ground…
I would love to see jones and blades fight each other that would be dope asf!
Yes,yes he is. as much as brian dosent want to admit it, the debate is over
I'll go out on a limb and say Bones fights Stipe twice and beats him both times before ending his career on a loss to Aspinal.
Jon jones is
-Undefeated
-Youngest ever champ
-Most title wins
-2 division champ
There is no one who can compete with that.He is not in arguments with gsp or Anderson silva he is in arguments with Messi and Muhammad Ali on how much they dominated their sport.beeeeeeeeeeeeee
Good things Jon Jones Trained with Henry Cejudo for this because Henry knew what Ciryl was most valuable at
It was a debate, now it isn't
The only argument against Jon being the GOAT now is how much of an asterisk you put next to him for the failed tests. For me the GOAT has always been GSP, but Jones has now achieved everything he has but also has more title fight wins.
He has been cleared by USADA you bum, don't you keep up with MMA news? Go look it up
because jones recently signed an 8 fight deal, i feel like he will be fairly active. if he fights once a year he’ll be 44 when his contract’s done.
Why did you delete your tweet stating Jon Jones was going to lose? 😂
there is really no argument anymore
