Wow thank you ever so much for this! I've been having a hard time speeding up my scales due to so much tension and flying fingers. Coming down is always the most tricky.
Shirley, Thank you a million-this is exactly what I needed. Great lesson! I will do this every day, starting with G Minor because I intend to do Chopin's G Minor Prelude Op. 15 No. 3 and then I can work on my Minor keys, learning them very well and move upward from there in the very same format that you have given us in this video as well as add Chopin's motives, eventually I will be playing comfortably in all Major and Minor key signatures😂
Shirley is a great teacher. I know that because I had some online lessons from her until I had a seizure and quit.
Sending warm regards, Alton and hope all is well!
bravissima e fortunata ad aver trovato un insegnante così aggiornato.
Absolutely terrific video. Completely new to this practice.
Glad you demonstrated on B rather than standard C position. Many thanks.
Excellent teaching. Can’t wait to get fluent at this.
❤
Excelent Class.....Blessss....1.000,000 Thanks...
Fantastic technique. Thank you for sharing this knowledge.
Great lesson Shirley. I really value your practical lessons. Practice makes perfect but perfect practice is the key.
Thank you! Glad I can be helpful!
You play wonderfully, thank you for this lesson.
That was magical!!!

Love this!! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
GRACIAS !!! 🎹🎶✨
True. It's like watching magic. As in, hard to believe that some humans can actually reliably play the scales at that speed, and that consistently.
Lots of new ideas for me, even though I'm old and stiff!
