- The #KiaForte is gone and its been replaced with the sleek and stylish #KiaK4 for 2025. This baby #KiaK5 borrows a lot of styling cues from the departed Stinger and new EV9 electric SUV. While the #K4GTLine brings turbo power under the hood, the compact sedan segment is about to get a shakeup with this modern and upscale entry. It goes on sale later this summer.

Yeah! Hyundai/Kia are really killing it with their designs! They make a 60k car interior in a 25k!
The Forte GT was great. I hope this isn't too much more expensive, because it looks like a solid upgrade.
The GT forte is the best version of the Forte obviously , I hope Kia isn't killing the GT trim in the K4 that will be dumb to do , if the GT line got an update and it's turbo I'm assuming that there's going to be a GT version of the K4 and needs to have an upgrade in engine size and a bigger turbo .
@@maoinc13I’m thinking it MIGHT have the same power plant as the Elantra N, but I’d expect it might step on the Elantra’s toes. Don’t think that would matter since they’re both basically the same company on most points

Wasn't the Forte 201 hp competing with the Honda Civic Si? Now 190 hp!!!! Also, the Forte was a stick shift (manual) for feel and driving experience? Definitely a downgrade! Upgrade only if you like automatic, style, and tech.
Shout-out to the camera operator for the smooth handling and keeping the camera pointed exactly at the various bits while you’re talking about them. It’s a skill that’s harder than it looks.

I like the off-center logo on the steering wheel. It reminds me of some old cars' steering wheels
It's a legit different style of wheel that actually looks good and not some rip off German style wheel.

@@brwntwn123 Yeah Kia has been 2018 Hyundai parts and technology. They’re just getting digital displays now. The Elantra has had three updates since the forte has had one.
@@devn3813 It's less that they're behind in tech and more that they keep it all in Korea. It's still wild to me that the Korean K5 had a hybrid model and a full digital dash for years and the US K5 didn't get any of it.
How unexpected... the renderings I saw of this made me think it was going to be ugggggly... but it actually looks great! Impressive!
this blows the corolla and civic out of the water. amazing job to kia, they saved the compact sedan segment with the K4. this car is beautiful and will be my next car!
At least until that kia 100k warranty expires.

People say this every model year...... yet every model year corolla and civic keep putting asses in the seats without alot of the unnecessary "add-ons"
It took my mind away from SUVs! I wsnted a sportage next year but now… this car changed my mind
@@keeprisingmbits just the brands. They r classic brands but if u r smart enough u would understand Hyundai / Kia philosophy. Also Mazda’s … they are way ahead of the rest of the industry but they are directed to a niche. Korean vehicles are the way to go for u if u want to take most of it for less $ without sacrificing style, quality and presence.

I like how manufacturers have slowly been making the compact sedan market into midsize sedans after mostly killing off the midsize sedans
Nah, midsize still has an place and generally are better for most overall.
For real, I sat in the backseat of my friend's 2022 Elantra and it's massive, great legroom, and it feels smoother and more comfy than her husband's F30 3-Series. Mid size cars now have to really fight for it.
Not in the US. These type of cars are hugely popular in Korea. That's why they keep getting built. SUVs still outsell everything. Kia and Hyundai in the states outsell cars outsell their cars almost 3-1.

Why do you like it? Carmakers are increasing the size of their compact cars and also increasing the price too so that's bad news for us regular working class blue collar Americans. I'm sure this all new K4 will have a price bump of at least 3k-5k. More expensive cars is the last thing we need here in America. We want smaller more affordable cars!!

I'm going to get the hatch version when it comes out in 2025, I'm beyond exited. I own a 19' Forte with 80k miles on it and i haven't experienced a single problem, I trust modern Kia and the hatch just looks out of this work so much better than the civic

Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing the sedan and hatchback here i like the rear flush door handles and the square steering wheel but the infotainment system will need to get used to 😊
I bought my GT-Line last year and it runs great! K4 looks an upgraded version of it.

4:50 Memory seats are not new. My 2014 Kia Forte has memory power seats that are also heated and cooled.
Kia is smart for using "K4". GIves it a slightly more upscale model name.

They still have the turbo, but less HP with an 8 speed. If you want the same 201 HP Engine with DCT then go for elantra N line.

Memory, ventilated seats and rear vents in a compact! Even an integra does not have that.

It looks like a lot of other new Kias. The interior of it is a scaled down version of the K9. I think the exterior, if larger, would make a great new Stinger.

It looks nice but I’m not a fan of the normal handle front doors/integrated handle back doors. Prius does the same thing. Wish it was better integrated up front as it really stands out visually in comparison to the sleek styling profile on the side.

Not bad. Looks way better than a Civic or Corrola. The gloss black lower trim and around the wheel arches are a hard pass though. It doesn't work on NPC SUV's and really doesn't work on sedans. Such a shame.
It looks great, but some decisions just make absolutely no sense to me. No Hybrid in 2024? No AWD option or even eAWD? Why does the C pillar look like that?
Interior color options, memory seats, heated and cooled seats are absolutely amazing. They need to continue putting Toyota and Honda to shame with their spartan compact interiors.
Those back rests hump on the two front seats are strange. Do they have a use?

I wouldn't buy this unless they made a GT model. The Forte GT is about the best car you can get for the money. The interior and technology is far better than the competition. Ventilated seats is a must in the summer!

I think the K4 is awesome! Just like a lot of new Kia products lately. Toyota and Honda lovers can suck it! This is by far the superior sedan and overall the superior brand. They just love to bash Kia and Hyundai just on their existence because they're not as reliable. Newsflash, Toyota and Honda are not what they used to be. They've been in the news lately with software glitches, transmission failures and recalls so they have no room to talk. No manufacturer is perfect but I will say that Kia/Hyundai are by far the best brands because they have the best looks, better interior quality, nicer tech, better ride and just better value. I'm really looking forward to seeing the K4 and the surprise hatchback version later this year/early next year. Keep it up Kia, you're doing great, no matter what the Toyota/Honda fanboys say!

The Forte was called the K3 in other markets.
Now it has changed though. The k3 is selling in many countries as a replacement to the rio, while this k4 should replace the cerato/forte

Alphanumeric names are much better than actual names as they are easier to recognize and compare other cars in the lineup

Actually, not that bad looking. Kind of odd C pillar, but not an issue. Not a bad dash, and nice steering wheel. I could get into that.
C pillar makes it look bulky. The 5 door hatchback looks really nice!
