APC Wheels are the best in teal imo, high extra tonnage, resistance buff, 2nd highest durability, lowest PS of all teal at 75 which is absolutely dirty since most blues are higher. I think they're the go to wheels for low PS play and any beginner should go for them straight away.
omnis are mad doodoo; exposed guns, gets eaten by dogs, not quite the maneuverability of hovers, not the durability of legs, and you have to pay for the colossus instead of it coming free with sabbaths
I have the same opinions with steppenwolves - "I know it's crap and cannons are crap and artillery are crap but im here for apc roof parts so i can make a cool tank with tracks and a tonne of hitpoints" And i think i wouldve put nomads higher, a because it just has everything - machine guns, mini guns, auto cannons, retchers, and decent structural parts (small plough), and then gets you to dawns children, with some of the best cabins and movement parts you can buy, and the guns are alright, but B is a good choice. I also think i should've leveled up the seasons more, and maybe even bought the pass for some of them. But theres my opinion, so quite different to yours, but i think youve given valid points and most of the ones i disagreed with I dont use much. But pretty good vid, thanks for seeing my comment and making one! 48:08 "The D hole"
Nomad crafting does get good, but the thing is you won't really be using the parts at all, but you would be using the modules. Ultimately it does get the doppler, chameleon(s), and a bunch of pew-pew, but that requires a new player to be focused into that weapon type. That is typically weighed against Lunatics getting the same, but for shotguns, and scavengers that get the same, but for cannons which makes it a wash.
Steppenwolfs D? ;c I use almost every single of their parts on my heavy builds, the humpback is very nice, so are the ML200 legs. I was really expecting you to put them to S after the good words for the structural parts xD
Remember, the perspective of this list comes from the eyes of new players. EVENTUALLY you will have all factions maxed and all parts from the Engineer badge shop purchased. This guide attempts to help focus time into results. If you're new, you are going to need the parts from Lunatics - I didn't even bother going over their crafts because of how much you need their parts. Engineer provides access to all of the best structural parts (damage passthrough) but I didn't go over that because you're going to level up Engineer anyway which is also the only reason it's not S. I love Steppenwolf parts - but that's because personally, I build heavy. The issue is as you level the faction you're going to note you get nothing special, nothing stands out at all, it's just iterations of the parts (more of the same). As I said, no melee shows up, and no bumpers either. So the Nomads get two of the most iconic parts, Small Plow and Bladewing/Twin Bladewing. That means you're going to want to level them to certain points to get those parts specifically - but Steppenwolf doesn't have that going for it. Combine that with the abysmal crafts... it justifies D-Tier. You can put it off for later.
If I could ask for a tierlist, I'd ask for a tierlist of which weapons, cabins, hardware, wheels, parts, etc need to be buffed the most and how you think they'd best be buffed.
I just got into the game about half a week ago, and only this morning I got access to my second faction, and this video has really validated my ability to assess valuable parts so far. I picked Lunatics because I realized how valuable lightweight frames are, and I'm happy to know longtime players agree.
@@roaling2 I know that he made weapon tier list, but its over 1 year old i think. Something must have changed no...? And i like to listen to his videos so i would watch a money guide made by him
More or less i agree with everything you've done, I'm just sorry that you don't have more subscribers, even though I'm a veteran, I find a lot of usefull things in your works, but hey, considering how many players there are in this game, I think you have enough 😀
LoL Don't worry about it! I learned long ago to just make videos about what I like and if I get more subs great, if not at least I didn't quit my day job =D
heya! I have a quick (not really) question for you: is it still true that engineering level 30 players are ONLY matched with OTHER engineering level 30 players, or is that outdated? I'm a little on the fence about it because when I was under level 30, I encountered players using co-drivers all the time despite not being able to access them myself. (I'm talking about the REWORKED co-drivers. I'm THAT new to Crossout.) the only explanation that I can think of is that you get access before level 30 if you had them before the Supercharged update. but I don't really know.
Hovers by-and-large are poopy. Hovers that are FUSED for acceleration efficiency are S+ tier, best movement part in the game. To fuse them during a fusion event you need 2 hovers to create 1 Fused hover, which is the cheapest path. Please note: You CAN fuse outside of fusion events but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NEVER DO THIS. There is a 2/3 chance you get something OTHER than Acceleration Efficiency AND it takes THREE parts to do it.
The Typhoon's perk doesn't stack, it's binary. This is similar to the previous Typhoon perk, (which was an actual death sentence) where to keep an opponent affected by it you needed to have them on separate triggers.
They have a lot of stuff that is mandatory in Crossout, my favorite Radar and Retchers, but this guide focuses for new players to the game. Eventually you will have ever faction maxed, but what new players need to do is focus on specific factions to get them the greatest benefit. End game (ish) weapons like Retchers are phenominal, but that compares directly against other legendaries available, such as Tsunami (S tier gun) and Mammoths (S tier gun) so it's a wash.
@@cardboardninja2429 But from a new player's perspective it doesn't really make sense to put Syndicate's and Founder's workbenches into consideration for their ratings, since new players won't even be able to craft these parts anyway ^^ Just a slight lack of consistency, but overall a good video so nvm ;)
This isn't rated based on the screener (which is probably the #1 or #2 bumper in the entire game) because this is designed for new players to know what to level up. Leveling up Dawn's Children doesn't GIVE you a screener, you have to spend your engineer badges to get them (if you missed the battle pass that released them). The only bumper they get naturally is the Shock Absorber, and I make it a personal challenge to successfully put that on any build XD Oh, and their base parts have no bullet resistance at all, eschewing it instead for thermal and energy... a bold move, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for them... =D
15% bullet resistance. I'll go over this in a penetration video. The first 4 I didn't do the workbenches because they're not advanced factions - I did say that if you're going shotgun go Lunatic, machine gun go Nomad, and cannon go Scavenger as a brief summary.
The side kick is Legit now. Other than that full agree lunatics are literally the best faction but they need the rest to pull it best weapons are fire starters for sure
I wish faction grind would be easier, that they would implement free battlepass eith good rewards and make weapons items cheaper so we can actually try them and play around with them
Steppenwolf is very difficult to use a LOT of - many times a build will only have one or two Steppenwolf parts (typically APC roof) while the rest of the build is from a far lighter faction. Even the heaviest builds on the cabins with the most maximum mass can't build exclusively with Steppenwolf parts unless you're making a Levithan.
I think nomads are D tier, but otherwise I agree with everything you said. Especially when you said scavengers are c tier. You are the best at crossout. I bet you are very handsome and a good kisser.
@@cardboardninja2429 yes it's better but not quite the same size. train blow is 3x on 2 sides with a slope. snow plow is 8x3x2. I would also probably make it clear to people that powerscore is only relevant under 14kps, as you will be matched the same above that regardless. So in unrestrained ps, the lunatics bumpers are best etc. Also the heavy factions are a must for anyone wanting to build a leviathan, which is a more niche thing but still maybe worth mentioning.
