One thing I'd like to say, this is our home! Thank you to the owners for realising this.... to be like Derbyshire county, on an industrialstate, is a big No, No! Keeping at The World Famous City Ground is so awesome! It's our home, I'm so pleased it's unreal!!! You mighty Reds!!!🔴⚪🔴⚪✌👍🏻
This seems like a great project, I really like the look of the new stadium plans, City Ground is gonna become one of the best in the league when the redevelopment is complete 👏
Fantastic news. Lots of folks saying we should wait until promoted to do this... but that’s not certain by any means and these plans are not overly ambitious for a championship club. If you stand still, you fall behind.
It will be sad to see the main stand go but it does belong to a bygone era , I've been going to watch the reds since 1974 and I think this development is a welcome change . come on you Reds!
Yes, this is how you develop a stadium, no fan wants to sit in a soulless bowl that looks like 20 other grounds - this looks great, a proper traditional football ground but modernised with all the mod cons.
Not a Forest fan, but I think this could be really good not just for Forest but for Nottingham as a whole. When I eventually get round to building it in Minecraft as part of my project, I'll make sure I incorporate the redevelopment into my rendition
Really looks beautiful. Yes making it accessible for those with limited mobility will help economically and attendance base. Nottingham you deserve the best. I'll have to put you on my list of places to see.
I lived in Nottingham in the early 2000s and saw forest a few times so they've become my second team. it's great that they'll stay at the city ground. As a man city fan moving to the Etihad destroyed our soul (not the takeover). it feels like our character has gone. good decision by forest
Two biggest problems with matchdays are lack of parking nearby and that u just can't get served at half time and finish eat/drink and get back to seat in time you never have enough staff on the bars at half time
Kadenza Recordings I go at 35 mins when I want something to eat/drink as I once went when stoppage time was shown and didn't get back till the 50 min and missed a goal ( never again )
I sit in the Trent End and the facilities are really dated and the concourse is the main issue. It's far too crammed at half time. I'm not sure how they can fix it? Maybe just rip it all out and re-design it? It would be awesome if they could somehow extend it back to the edge of the river to create more space.
Great ground to visit as an away fan - these plans look exciting. As a local, this entices me to maybe bring along my son in the future as I value supporting a local team
This is good news. Not had a great season but behind the scenes things now moving on in the right way. Capacity 38k to 40k is about right as well. Long overdue, well done for not moving to an industrial estate like many others. This is an Icon of British football
Been going to forest since I was about 7 (30 years ago) watched the Trent end get done and the Bridgford end and love the stadium now but this new redevelopment looks amazing! Can’t wait! Hopefully a premier league stadium by then too! You reds
Come on the forest come on . Wether we sell out or not for the first time in a decade we all have confidence in forest , finally we have stability a good owner a good manager and a decent squad and are heading in the right direction we will sell out when we reach the premiership . Come on the forest COME ON
Who ever liked this I said that with karanka as manager now I think we have completely fucked , getting rid of karanka or forcing him out was the biggest mistake Forest have made . Get karanka back good football , competing with the big teams and scoring , under o niel we have gone back to the same old predictable shite
Once the ground has been redeveloped we need several statues honouring our illustrious history. Mr Clough and Mr Taylor need honouring. Also our European teams. Not to mention our most loyal captain and England captain Psycho. our history needs celebrating and embracing. A lot of these new plastic fans need a little reminder who we are. Maybe some of our fans too.
Great vision off the field it's what's on it that really counts mid table championship team for long term c'mon forest the holy land is your goal newark reds
Sounds good but shouldn't we wait til we're in the Premiership..? Really like the museum idea, would be great... Hope any plan will include a decent sized car park, it's bad enough now without the potential extra people
As it'll take around 2 years to complete it's better to do it now, lose 1 stands Championship revenue and have it ready for if we go up rather than go up then lose the stands worth of Premiership revenue for 2 years. This will also future proof our stadium as we currently don't meet UEFA standards, so should the miricle happen that we qualify for europe we would have to arrange to play elsewhere or give up our qualifcation spot.
I love the fact that we are staying put, but I always had this idea that if we were to do that we would fill in the corners. Increase the capacity in the Bridgford end and then bring the roof up to the level of the rest of the stands. The new main looks great but it would have been great to do something along the lines of what Spurs have done - that looks great! Well, money talks I suppose.

Spot on bud 👍
We'd have to change all our chants which would suck no other way than to keep it trentside
Outside The City of Nottingham!
Always been a fan of this stadium. Good to see a tasteful renovation
Great to see that main stand is finally being redeveloped. Long overdue.
This seems like a great project, I really like the look of the new stadium plans, City Ground is gonna become one of the best in the league when the redevelopment is complete 👏
We are now doing business the correct way, good times ahead on and off the pitch.

Good luck with the redevelopment, looks and sounds good. From a Villa Fan 👍🏻
waiting north stand at villa park is built as soon as possible. maybe the end of season 20-21

Looks phenomenal. Totally deserved! Forest til I die! Thank you for the Excellent video!
Congratulations on being new Forest chairman. Now let's get the new stand built.
Will the new stand ever get built? I'd like to think so but certainly taking it's time

Over 4 years on no progress whatsoever we got big sections of the fan base that can’t watch the team play!
Wow, exciting times ahead....Still some pessimists out there, some people are never happy! I for one think it's fantastic well done 👍
Lets hope Martin is still here by then 😄😄😄😄😘🙌👏👏👏
Charlie Bicknell lol
The Brian Clough stand needs to be made into a super stand like anfield has. The ground needs to hold at least 50’000

Long overdue for an Iconic 2 Time European Champion. Round up to 40k there is room
Are their any updates on when this may start?
This is absolutely amazing news.
This will look amazing..!
theredsrant, that you?
SFVE yeah 😂
Please include safe standing provisions. Would improve the atmosphere no end as well as improving safety for those who wish to stand.
38,000 capacity? May as well round it up to 40,000.
Can't even fill 30,000
if we got in premier league 40000 is easy to full

4 years later and still nothing...
Who's here five years later and Forest's ground still remains the same.
Looking towards greater things COYR
Impressive plans, wish my club Birmingham would show the same ambition
Steven McGuinness next season will be the one 30 million to spend next window
December 2021, any update? You guys going to get started any time soon?
Long overdue stage of growth for the club - it's a huge opportunity for the area.
3 years on and still nothing,Premiership and no signs still of redevelopment, WHY?
We was given planning permission in July. The work gets underway at the end of this season 22/23
Wow 38000 we might just be able to get a ticket without them being sold out to members
Then get on with it!🙄🙄
This was produced 3yrs ago, I'm posting this in 2023.
Why don’t we do murals on the steps? Make it unique
where is it
When will construction start?

Needs it's own tram stop though!

It's called ambition James. Try embracing it
When is this happening?
End on this season 22/23 season the work starts.
and will this put the ticket prices up?
It’s going to be brilliant
Brilliant all them bar's around the ground...I love Nottingham, not like derby they've only got Frankie B...and one pub that's it🙅

This was five years ago
About time, but let’s see.
Looks like relocation is out of the question.
Why is your ground called "The City Ground" when it is NOT in The City of Nottingham ???
Nottingham gained City status in the late 1800's and at the time the ground was first built the land was within city limits.

I rate this but hope we can sell out, because i would prefer to sell out 29000 every week than sell 31000 and have a half empty stadium

Fancy being a rival fan, subscribing just to unlike.
But they can't fill their current capacity?
Yet we've sold out the past 5 home games in a row...
it's getting difficult to obtain a ticket even though Forest haven't really had a great season. I based my response on facts
build every corner and reach to 40,000

city ground : “largest stadium in east midlands”
pride park : am i a joke to you

Lot of messing about for 5,000 seats. Need a new ground at 50,000
The design looks quite generic it could be anyone’s stand. Attention to detail is needed to make it unique. Incorporate Robin Hood and tree’s

A top class ground perfect for mid table championship football for years to come ...
The shity ground
lol so it's a new stand
Looks rubbish! Big gaps in the corners that could be used to accommodate fans rather than be some corporate glass house.
