hay Gigabyte, any chance you guys plane on improving the look of ur bios. It a bit dated compared to the competition. though still plane on picking this up.
6 years ago... ouch... still, 9900k has not disappointed me all this time. Apparently even 8700k gamers have zero reason to upgrade to upcoming 14th gen, 4000 series cards will have minimal bottlenecking anyway. I'd say only upgrade around 2030 when AI chips start becoming mainstream and possibly quantum enhancers.
Really nice mb. Great looks n features.I am looking forward to buy this mb so just want to know that is this mb having port to connect front audio jacks which comes with pc case?Plus I want know exact warranty period for this mb 3 years or 5 years? I am from India & I saw 5 year warranty image on gigabyte india site so just want to confirm... Thanks.
Hi @Dark Lord, the Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 comes with 1 x Front panel audio header and 1 x S/PDIF Out header so the answer is yes :) Warranty period for this motherboard in India is, in fact, 5 years!
One of the most motherboard powerful i ever seen. I really love this motherboard, but the software controls the RGB build on top of old library and has a lot of bugs i am not able to get it to work without fill my event viewer with errors since it keep sending signal every second to the motherboard I/O to control the light.simply I just uninstall RGBFusion and adjust the RGB from bios setup
Is there a way to improve the in board audio? It is a kick in the teeth to buy this just to find out my microphone sounds like crap compared to my surface, galaxy and even a cheap Asus MoBo.
"GIGABYTE is building a new channel for Motherboards and BRIX! - Introducing the latest in motherboard technologies, to ultra-compact PC’s, and even DIY’s for users to get the most out of their GIGABYTE Motherboard." Ah cool, where's a link for that? Will we get HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.2 and PCIe 4.0 support on motherboards by the end of 2017 - I'm so tired of waiting. I would also have Dolby Atmos audio on a wish list to have on my mobo.
Hi, can you confirm that the gaming 7 provides uhd 4k blu ray HDR playback @ 60hz? The manual states that it does so via DisplayPort 1.2, but I thought that DP 1.2 was not capable of this? Can you confirm that it does in fact support HDR for uhd blu ray playback? I'm not talking about supporting HDR via Netflix, but actually playing UHD 4k blu ray with the Cyberlink PowerDVD 18 software. Thank you! I look forward to getting some clarification on this.
I'm about to purchase a Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7 MB: Can you tell exactly which port I should use to power the pump for my Corsair liquid cooler and which port should I use for the cooler fans? Thank you. I need answer ASAP before I purchase this mother Board.
I wonder how this machines will operate my music platforms pro tools studio one etc, I imagine it will be a blast, way better quality I wish someone advise me some info
all perfect but Unfortunately no wifi like AORUS GAMING 5 can you boot the system from NVMe ssd M.2؟ i don't know if i will buy this Amazing motherboard i need Separated wifi Maybe I'll go for another brand
I just realized the board is supposed to support thunderbolt.. the site says "add on card included"... but I didn't get one? did anyone get one? Or is it the USB C port on the back that's the thunderbolt?
Is it gonna fit for with ASUS Cerberus GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB GDDR5 Advanced Edition VR Ready DP HDMI DVI Gaming Graphics Card? Please response as soon as possible!
I see you just one thermal m.2 guard can they be purchase separately sense gigabte will not sale to the public as it's marketing depatment had stated which is a untrue statement when i buy from your web site it's saleing to the public if you do not what third party are you recommend i want the m.2 thermals help me spend my money!
Does it seriously not come with the screws needed to mount the damn thing? If so, what the fuck, if I'm spending $300 on a mobo I would kind of like to have the screws needed to mount it. Even my $100 MSI board came with the screws.
Gigabyte plzzz i beg you...update your bios..asus, msi and even asrock have much better and easy to use bios than you guys. It's a very humble request.
I haven't bought it yet, but I was looking at the Z370 AORUS Gaming 7. I noticed there are many different motherboards, from other companies, without TGs or heatsinks....do they really help that much ?
Just finished a mostly all Gigabyte build with the Gaming 7-OP, ATC700 cooler, and Gigabyte 1070ti 8G. I also have a 970 evo NVMe as a boot drive but would like to have an additional matching M.2 thermal guard covering it. I thought the matching thermal guard highlighted in the video would have been included along with the Intel OP branded one but just the Intel OP thermal guard was included. Where can I order an additional Gigabyte gaming 7 matching thermal guard?
Can anyone tell me if the first 2 PCIe slots are spaced 60mm or 80mm apart? While I know it comes with an SLI Bridge, if I wanted to replace it with the Aorus bridge, wondering if I get the 1 or 2 slot bridge. Also, what are the physical dimensions of the VRM fan? Diameter and depth. Thanks.
I have the same question. It looks like 60mm to me but I am not 100% sure. Mine comes tomorrow so I can let you know if you don't manage to find out before then.
after a bios update, it will support it. do not be discouraged by the whole temperature thing, however a helpful hint is that if your mosfets are hot (some claim they reach as high as 110 degrees) then there's a chance that the heatsink over the mosfets are not touching properly. this was a defect in some boards. you can easily fix this by removing the heatsink and taking off the plastic washers, then carefully put the heatsink back over the mosfets and tighten (but not too much or the heatsink will bow). once comfortably snug, you will see around 40-60 degrees instead of 110-125. this is especially helpful if you're gonna run the 9900k. i would suggest avoiding a 4.8 or 5.1GHz OC on the 9900k (on ANY board) it's almost not even necessary except for benching. Things like RPCS3 (ps3 emulator) only see a real benefit as high as a 4.3-4.6 GHz, but going up to 5 will give you lke a 2-4 fps increase and not much more. Keep cool and enjoy. The AG7 is a beautiful motherboard, I went with this instead of the z390 versions because there are more lights on the z370 versions.

Why no love for the Z370 Gaming 5?
Can't find reviews or analysis and almost no unboxings...
Because it’s not a flagship motherboard
Why did I have to watch an unboxing to find this mobo comes with an io shield? Nothing in the pictures or description even mentioned it...
Every mother board brand have io shield

Why does it have 2 internet ports and what is the purpose of having 2 of them?
Hey adrus, i just bought this motherboard and was wondering what that little DB_PORT thing does? Does it keep track of the cpu temps?

I believe this is the new channel. Old one was MoboTV2010. Out of curiosity, why do you want HDMI 2.1 on a board like this?

What's the external temp sensor EC_Temp thermistor for? It's purpose is not explained anywhere, not in the manual and not on the Gigabyte website.
So, this is the Gaming 7 OP or just Gaming 7?
Is a better bios coming soon? All other board makers bios smoke the gaming 7 bios.

thanks for the video, is the motherboard compatible with the noctua nh d15 ? thanks
Hey @Ludwig Newmann, it's compatible according to Noctua's website :)
Ludwig Neumann if the noctua is a 1151 socket then yes
Does the motherboard support 5V addressable rgb header for fans?
Are amd ryzen 3rd gen processors compatible for this board?
Drivers Disk?? realy?? start using the USB pendrives please!! Look into the future....
I wonder how this machines will operate my music platforms pro tools studio one etc, I imagine it will be a blast, way better quality I wish someone advise me some info
all perfect but Unfortunately no wifi like AORUS GAMING 5
can you boot the system from NVMe ssd M.2؟
i don't know if i will buy this Amazing motherboard i need Separated wifi
Maybe I'll go for another brand
@GAME PLAY yes, you can definitely boot from NVMe SSDs :) Both the Z370 AORUS Gaming 7 and the Z370 AORUS Gaming 5 are strong options for you!
No they are not, because there is no integrated wifi.
Hey @Rahila Mahboob, the Z370 AORUS Gaming 5 has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth :)
wifi adapter????
I just realized the board is supposed to support thunderbolt.. the site says "add on card included"... but I didn't get one? did anyone get one? Or is it the USB C port on the back that's the thunderbolt?
did you get an answer to this question ?

Having issues with RGB fusion. DOES NOT WORK with addressable CableMod RGB LEDs as stated.
@Killacamfoo O.G. we are now trying to get this CableMod product to test and help you.

Does the usb c support thunderbolt 3?
Love the Gaming 7, but there is only 1 M.2 Thermal Guard. Is there a way to get 2 more Thermal Guards to cover the other m.2 slots ?
Yes @Robert Nicewonder, Thermal Guard is available as a separate accessory
@GIGABYTE Motherboards, thanks for the quick response. I looked online for the thermal guards, do you have a link to where I can buy these?
@Robert Nicewonder, which board are you using?
I haven't bought it yet, but I was looking at the Z370 AORUS Gaming 7. I noticed there are many different motherboards, from other companies, without TGs or heatsinks....do they really help that much ?
@Robert Nicewonder, our M.2 Thermal Guards prevent throttling and bottlenecks from M.2 devices.
Just finished a mostly all Gigabyte build with the Gaming 7-OP, ATC700 cooler, and Gigabyte 1070ti 8G. Does this motherboard come with built in wifi and bluetooth support?
Gregorio Lozano no, I think only the gaming 5 has them
n3of1x thanks for the reply. Funny how this is supposed to be the top of the line model and it's missing those features.
The gaming 5 WiFi sucks anyways, you’re better off buying an usb WiFi dongle.
kdash0213 yup . Just get usb wify separate . ITS REALLY GOOD

Thanks, and if you can measure the VRM fan size also, that would be awesome.
Hello @gregz83 and @Bugsy, the first two PCIe slots are spaced 63 mm and the fan size is 30 x 10 mm.
GIGABYTE Motherboards thank you 👍
9900k work in it?
