@Kingmk if you're just getting into gunpla I would recommend starting with the Entry Grades or High Grades, if you're in the US I think they should retail for less then $10 for EGs and maybe around $15-20 for the cheapest HGs (I'm in Asia tho so don't quote me on that). Don't buy them from Amazon as they tend to be overpriced there, instead look for hobby stores like USA Gundam Store or Newtype HQ.
If you have a Hobby Lobby close by, every third week or so they offer 40% off boxed kits; that often brings the cost below online sites. They do habe a limited selection; but plenty good enough try out the hobby.
Curious how your AB Setup is going? Only thing you might want to consider is some sort of Furnace filter over your fans to keep particles from building up on the interior of them.
