Hi Caden, just came here to say that I love your videos, and you became a kind of a friend who I don't see everyday but it's aways awesome when I do. You've inspired me to study geosciences, and now I'm at the 3rd semester of my graduation in Geology, I've been working hard, and sometimes when I get too tired I remember of this vibe of yours, which is study, but more importantly apreciate and be thankful of what is happening around us. I wish you well :), hugs from Brazil!
Ola Arthur - at risk of sounding dramatic, your comment brought a tear to my eye. You are exactly the kind of person I am trying to reach with my content and I'm happy you find it valuable in some way. thank you for this message, un abrazo, caden
Congrats, Caden. For a second I thought that you weren't going to show the book. Glad you did. Looks like some mad charcoal on the cover design. Success!! 🌟
Bravo!! 👏🏼 it's not so easy to write a book. More over, had been pleasant watching an American young man making his coffe with the moka, as we italian are used to do. 😊 I love nature, expecially Mountains. I love hiking and mountain' activity. They fill me with passion and energy. I've started to recap my scientific study, done some years ago , and I'm studing earth science at high school level to understand if it would possible to go back at University in a geology degree course. I've watched some of your videos and I've found them interesting. Thanks for sharing your passion and your experience. 😊
I really enjoyed that little meditative opening segment! 🙏I love your videos. Your book is delightful, and full of surprises. I also appreciate your message to “keep learning”.👍
Hey, I just stumbled upon this channel-great content! I find geology fascinating and incredibly important. I'm really into biology and biodiversity and would love to gain a deeper understanding of the influence of the Ice Age on today’s habitat of some rare fruit species in Europe. PS: Compliments on your fashion style!
I make the normal salary of a research assistant pursuing a PhD. Salaries vary depending on your job. New professors ~80-100k USD, oil and gas/mineral exploration as high as 100-300kUSD. Some jobs are underpaid. Some overpaid. Range I'd give would probably be 40-400k USD haha

I'm in my 10th year of college right now hehe, but it becomes more of a profession and less "school" as you advance through the degrees. You really gotta love what you're doing to stay in it...
