I really do think once Usopp stops lying and becomes more confident that's when his haki will actually show itself. I really hope that's what's being set up on Elbalf for him because it's ridiculous we've not gotten anything since Dressrosa in the canon of him using his haki, and Elbalf would be the perfect place for him to actually learn to willingly use it. Plus then we could get the monster trio trying to explain to him how to use it and him being confused because those 3 would be the worst teachers for Haki and would just result in a fight I could see it now and it would be a good gag
I think the usopp not using haki after dressrosa makes sense because usopp thinks very low of himself. He probably thinks a person like him would never have haki.
Usopp's observation haki did manifest itself at least twice after Dressrosa. I don't know what you guys have been reading to not noticd that. Once it was in the very start of the Onigashima raid, when the crew was on the Sunny, Usopp heard guards presence from far away when the others couldn't. The second time was during the start of Egghead when Usopp noticed the threat of the giant mecha shark coming from below slightly earlier than the others.
Not sure the timeline of Shanks/Franks asking the Elders about "a certain pirate" being Loki makes sense. I thought they were recruiting him to the Holy Knights now because there's an open slot, only because Garlin got promoted to Elder status because Imu killed Saturn, maybe making "Franks" the new leader of the knights.
I think that Blackbeard will play an integral role in the fight against Imu, perhaps even absorbing imu’s power in the face of an overwhelming final boss, and destroying Blackbeard in the process.
If you replace the word sun with star the 3 types of sun gods make a lot more sense. Because a star can generally evolve into one of these 3 things a white dwarf, a neutron star or a black hole. Considering we might have 3 sun god DF's around destruction, laughter and liberation each of these could be linked to one of these final stages of a star. Of course the destruction one would be the blackhole (loki's DF and BB future DF) the white dwarf is most likely Luffy's because of the all white ascetic. Lastly maybe dragon has the last of these, but his connection to a neutron star is more unclear to me. Cool fact Blackbeard also has a move called liberation.
A neutron star rotates extremely fast which could signify the turning of an age or the revolution. White dwarves are related to neutron stars so it connects there as well
„If you replace this thing with another thing this theory makes sense!“ - the level of delusion one piece fans have achieved through 10 years of being fed far fetched theories
Yeaah dude white dwarfs 😂😂 The lies of NASA. NASA can't even go below 5000 k metres on the ocean and they have discovered the... CGI n green room spAcE😂
imagine if the pirate that franks wanted to talk abt was just another fated kid that he found in the east blue years after luffy and they ate a budget nika fruit lol
It might sound crazy but if oda can write his way into a solo ussop story during Elbaf it would be perfect. Ussop the man that we’ve seen done what he need to is pushed to the point where he has to save himself/crew with no or minimal help. I like the idea of trapped in a df dimension or maybe the underworld something like that and he has to make it back by himself and he knows it
12:29 I would like to imagine a dire situation where everyone else is preoccupied or out of the fight, and Usopp has been overlooked as not being a threat, while looking on in horror at his captain, about to be killed, allows him to summon selfless courage that he’s been looking for the whole time and also just so happens to be standing close by Thor’s hammer that no one has ever been able to lift. It would bring his fake hammer gag, full circle and complete his character in a moment where he should be running in terror thinking only about himself instead, he looks for the closest weapon to defend his captain‘s life and running towards the danger instead, making him worthy to wield Mjolnir.
frank could sound like shanks, the most obvious reason why he knew it wasn’t shanks besides the blindfold is their presence, franks presence is probably vastly different then shanks
I could see Colin being the one to tie both sun god legends together by being like Luffy in personality but inheriting the destruction version of the sun god power from Loki but wields the power more like Luffy from having him as an example or mentor
I dont think Colo will inherit Nikkas fruit, even after Luffy. Its said that someone like that appears when the world is ending, which has happened 3 times. Even if he ate the fruit I dont think he would awaken it because it would be too soon for another dissaster that needs to be resolved by Nikka
Maybe Frank talked about Loki back at the reverie, but if we think about Oda, who didn't want to draw Elbaph in the first place, then it's possible, that Frank talked about someone else
I'm heavily doubting Loki was the 'certain pirate' metioned to the elders. That's assuming the holy knights were recruiting even before Garling was promoted, and that Oda had the idea for 'this' Loki way back then.
It doesnt matter if loki is using observation haki he should still be able to tell the difference between shanks and his twin, fujitora can distinguish people afterall
I thought you were using some kind of obscure innuendo, but I go to the time specified, and, Gasp, I found a real hidden Giratina! Silly me, I was thinking of something entirely different. (Wink-wink, nudge-nudge😂)
So with the Yamato story being so much like Oden, if she does follow the path, wouldn't she end up on like a different pirate's ship first before rejoining with Luffy as well then? I mean we do have the potential with more groups moving toward Laugh Tale, and really I can only think of one group that wouldn't have the info from Wano, since Shanks got it from Kidd, and BB got it from Law, so that leaves our future Pirate King himself, Buggy, and the other two old guys.
I still stand by Collin and Usopp needing to team up and sort of inspiring each other to save the day. Imagine Usopp told all his lies which gets Collin hyped and then when shit hits the fan and Usopp wants to run and hide Collin reminds him of his lies and that sort of forces Usopp to stand his ground. I really want them to be a dynamic duo during the climax of this arc.
Liam literally could not have picked a worse anime/manga to choose for his comparison for having “generic anime designs” than my hero academia, it probably has the most unique goofy and eclectic designs of any anime/manga besides one piece itself, at least when it comes to shonen specifically
I'd agree for most of the main cast. But most side characters feel very generic and bland to me. Especially the actual pro heroes, there were very few that have actually stuck with me
Just a thought while I'm reading the current chapter myself. When the giants are talking about king Harald it says: "The kind and radiant king who tried to connect Elbaph with the other countries of the world that were so terrified of our warlike ways ..." Immidiately I was thinking about fishman island. It's another island that tried to connect to the world due to their kings/queens. Also there were people for or against that plan. Also there were human children who had an impact on the islands (Koala - Fisher Tiger / Big Mum - Giants). And at fishman island is one of the ancient weapons and at elbaph a sun god? I doubt that it is a coincidence especially because both islands have no connection to the world government until Luffy and the other arrive. So I assume that Elbaph is for Luffy important to learn more about Nika and what it's mean to be him in order to fulfil his purpose as sun god. So my prediction is that Luffy and Loki will fight against each other, so our favorite strawhat will be stronger after that.
The only real resemblence bewtween Koala and Gunko is the fact they wear a cap with goggles and have bob hairstyle. The eyes are similar at a glance but not the same between them. At best I'd believe that Koala is somehow a descendant of an exhiled world noble and they're estranged cousins or something.
The whole coming out of a pentagram thing kinda relates her to imu off rip. whether its just her and shonks or all the holy knights, the devil powers speak for themselves
Also - it’s been speculated the final fruit Blackbeard needs is a Zoan. Luffy’s is a mythical zoan now - my previous post was about Rocks being the previous holder of luffy’s fruit and embodying the darkness, Joyboy holding it and embodying heroism, and luffy holding it and embodying the laughter and neutrality… So final conflict - Blackbeard goes after Luffy’s fruit to become Nika and conquer the world. Strongest fruit. Darkest fruit. Freeist fruit.
My theory is that all the Holy Knights, not just the Elders, are Yokai/Monster inspired, and that maybe Gunko might actually be a mummy and Frank might be a werewolf, with his father straight up being Fenrir
impossible, Elbaf takes on the themes and inspiration of Æsir from Norse Mythology, if Fenrir was going to be added in the story, Loki may become Fenrir if not the Sun God.
you talked about how elbaf wasn’t intended until recently. not that loki couldn’t have appeared elsewhere, but shouldn’t that mean the certain pirate can’t be loki?
My theory is just like Sirahoshi, who can control the sea kings, maybe Loki is also destined to control or use Pluton in wano. After all, wano is theorized to be connected to giants because of the skull in Onigashima with huge katana. Maybe, that skull was the previous wielder of Pluton and Loki is the next to wield it. And just like Sirahoshi being in the prophecy, Loki was infamously prophecized by the giants elders.
If she is connected to Imu, I could see her being enticed by the Straw hat's freedom ideals. It would make an interesting narrative if Imu's child turned against Imu.
As a woman I think I hate no pants design in elbaf compared to the egghead (where my only opinion was that they were just a little too genric) because egghead was a warm island, and elbaf have much lower temperature, and I know how awful it feels when you're freaking freezing down there 🥶🥶
really hoping for the tobi ropo becoming yamato's vassals. would love to see them around town doing good/silly things for the folk akin to the cover story of how CP9 did chores and stunts to raise money for Lucci's treatment
Given the arrowhead feature of Gunko like IMU's tail I think that instead of an Ittan-Momen I think Gunko powers are actually based Shiro-Uneri a ghost made of cloth commonly seen in a kitchen that is like a tiny dragon that attacks chefs sometimes killing them.
Do you think that the D clan is the "Drums of liberty"? could this phrase be more than just a sound effect description? It fits in many ways, (Monkey Drum, Marshal Drum, Gol(D) Rum, Trafalgar Drum, Rock(s) Drum - etc..) don't you think?
It seems to me that ideas of the figarland family are pointing to them being held somewhere between the 20 kingdoms and the celestial dragons that live at marie geoise.
I had a theory that Shanks and Stabs are the first cloning project deemed a failure for one reason or another. But my theory is that they were an attempt at infusing Conqueror's Haki into a clone. That's why Shanks has red hair
I still don't expect this guy to be Shanks, but remember that Shanks has the ability to suppress his presence so others can't detect him with observation haki. It's possible that Loki wasn't able to sense Shanks when they first met so he doesn't know what Shanks' presence feels like. Kind of like when Luffy didn't recognize Lucci's voice when they were on Water 7 because Hattori had done all the talking up to that point.

Neutron stars are very inert, so that would be the connection: Dragon doesn't do anything
So the Liberation one might belong to Blackbeard
The laughter one to luffy and the Destruction one to Loki
Yeaah dude white dwarfs 😂😂
The lies of NASA.
NASA can't even go below 5000 k metres on the ocean and they have discovered the... CGI n green room spAcE😂
imagine if the pirate that franks wanted to talk abt was just another fated kid that he found in the east blue years after luffy and they ate a budget nika fruit lol
Silly internet man, that’s not how you hold a gameboy 8:15
This comment made me laugh
Loki had already become my third favorite character, I love him so much
It might sound crazy but if oda can write his way into a solo ussop story during Elbaf it would be perfect. Ussop the man that we’ve seen done what he need to is pushed to the point where he has to save himself/crew with no or minimal help. I like the idea of trapped in a df dimension or maybe the underworld something like that and he has to make it back by himself and he knows it
I also love it when concept art shows up I think the mummy commander that Moriah had at one stage fulfilled Absalom's role or Doctor Hogbacks
I could see Colin being the one to tie both sun god legends together by being like Luffy in personality but inheriting the destruction version of the sun god power from Loki but wields the power more like Luffy from having him as an example or mentor
there has to be a reason that Oda is hiding Loki's eyes. it would probably give away what side he truly is on to early.
Loki has the magic magic fruit
I dont think Colo will inherit Nikkas fruit, even after Luffy. Its said that someone like that appears when the world is ending, which has happened 3 times. Even if he ate the fruit I dont think he would awaken it because it would be too soon for another dissaster that needs to be resolved by Nikka
Maybe Frank talked about Loki back at the reverie, but if we think about Oda, who didn't want to draw Elbaph in the first place, then it's possible, that Frank talked about someone else
As soon as i saw the bandage arrow i immediately thought of Sabo, im sure she was there. More impressive Vivi got out too
I hope Gunko isn't the last mystery female character we get. Ginny joined Tashigi in the "every female character is them" camp.
Gunko looks like she stopped by Egghead before coming to Elbaf with what she’s wearing. Which is possible since the WG fully took over it now.
Reddit is going crazy over her not wearing pants

14:02 MOTI I see your hidden Giratina.
I thought you were using some kind of obscure innuendo, but I go to the time specified, and, Gasp, I found a real hidden Giratina! Silly me, I was thinking of something entirely different. (Wink-wink, nudge-nudge😂)
@ScaredLight ok who let Latios have a RUclips account?
@@Kodex-TheFailed And just like Latios that went right over my head.
@@ScaredLight playful pokemon that disguised itself as a girl and got a kiss from Ash at the end of a movie.
It looked like Loki also hit a Nika pose in one of the flashback panels too
So with the Yamato story being so much like Oden, if she does follow the path, wouldn't she end up on like a different pirate's ship first before rejoining with Luffy as well then?
Talking about Frank sounding different to Shanks made me think of Pica... What if Frank really sounds like that.
9:19 Mate, Blackbeard LITERALLY has an attack called "liberation", he used it during the battle with Ace at Banaro Island.
Especially the actual pro heroes, there were very few that have actually stuck with me
most of the characters are pretty bland design wise at least outside of their hero outfits. And so many of the hero outfits are generic
wake up son, new one piece lore just dropped
Liberation is the name of one of his moves 9:20
Liam doing an Imu theory? Today is definitely a good day
The only real resemblence bewtween Koala and Gunko is the fact they wear a cap with goggles and have bob hairstyle.
Luffy’s is a mythical zoan now - my previous post was about Rocks being the previous holder of luffy’s fruit and embodying the darkness, Joyboy holding it and embodying heroism, and luffy holding it and embodying the laughter and neutrality…
So final conflict - Blackbeard goes after Luffy’s fruit to become Nika and conquer the world.
Strongest fruit. Darkest fruit. Freeist fruit.
Imagine how wild it would be if Gunko was related to Nami’s past
My theory is that all the Holy Knights, not just the Elders, are Yokai/Monster inspired, and that maybe Gunko might actually be a mummy and Frank might be a werewolf, with his father straight up being Fenrir
impossible, Elbaf takes on the themes and inspiration of Æsir from Norse Mythology, if Fenrir was going to be added in the story, Loki may become Fenrir if not the Sun God.
and it would make Saint Garling straight up stronger and deadlier than the five elders as Fenrir was responsible for Ragnarok
Calling it now, Colon inherits the large Straw Hat in Marijoa
I dunno bout you liam but I think Guncos gotta be one of the best deisgned female characters in one piece
you ate the yap yap fruit
you talked about how elbaf wasn’t intended until recently. not that loki couldn’t have appeared elsewhere, but shouldn’t that mean the certain pirate can’t be loki?
Unless Oda changed it because he had a better idea later down the line.
@@GrandLineReview yeah that could be the case, sure, but it does seem like a plotpoint he'd probably want to deliver on
My theory is just like Sirahoshi, who can control the sea kings, maybe Loki is also destined to control or use Pluton in wano.
I think Luffy's gonna show up and see Loki's dog being choked out, get really pissed and save the dog, and Loki will come to appreciate him for it
Dog's already dead, Gunko killed him on the last page.
I believe its one of 2 things either she was in the room with sabo and them and it wasnt shown or imu has all the abilities she can give away
They gave flashback Loki a silhouette, I definitely think he’s had a Chad glow up since the Lola heartbreak
11:00 did usopp just confirm a ores jr size threat being taken down by him later in the future ?
Zoro saying “Usopp stopped us from fighting back.” Could also boost his Elbaph aura.
Istg the calm belt help me get through work every time so thank you internet man👍🏾
Didnt realize brook didnt ask his signature question!
I know this might sound stupid but i think the only reason the god knight's want to recruit loki is to kill him to take the devil fruit
Hey, Man on the Internet You have really an interesting way of explaining things and so that your Voice And I love that ❤
If she is connected to Imu, I could see her being enticed by the Straw hat's freedom ideals. It would make an interesting narrative if Imu's child turned against Imu.
Good idea
Luffy pulls up: “Shanks?!?!”
Loki: “Where?!?!”
Luffy: “Right in front of you. Are you stupid….”
Loki: “I’m blindfolded you idiot!!”
Lets goo my king has uploaded
Loki ate the Jango-Jango no Mi, he is the god of disco partying... change my mind
I like the calm belt I had it on TV in my living room all day yesterday. It was nice just trying to get away from the news for a while thanks.
I'm thrilled that you're enjoying it! :D
The fact nowadays one piece theories go something like “they have a similar piece of clothing, they must be clones!” is depressing…
I just now notice the owl can make the sunny bigger like the book which would be nice for the army of giant during the final war arc
5:10 in Post-Enies Lobby/Return to Water 7, the lack of pantsu _was_ the solution!
