The sword in Jarul's head could also be messing with his memory of the event. Having the only living witness left be someone with a sword scrambling up their brain probably might have skewed public perception of what happened that day
"Hearts 'n stars n' clovers, horseshoes and blue moons. Pots o' gold 'n rainbows and little red balloons!!" *_- Shamrock summoning the portal probably_*
I wonder what hand he uses to fight. We know Shanks was lefthanded, and now he uses his righthand. And his sword is on his right side. Shamrock has sword on his left side, so I assume he also has to be right handed (cause that's kinda the way you draw sword - with your right hand from left side). Or he IS left handed and draws his sword the same way Shanks does.
As a practitioner of swords you usually keep your sword on the opposite side of your dominant hand if you're right handed it goes on your left for better drawing if you're right left handed it goes on your right for better drawing@@Ozorosochi
I'm surprised you didn't talk about Rodo's reveal of Hajrudin's dream about uniting all giant tribes. I mean, I get he already said that before. BUT. Did you notice he said it the same way Luffy revealed his dream to his nakama? I feel like this is a subtle reveal of what luffy's true dream is (which was never revealed). Luffy's dream is to unite all people around the world. To me it was basically confirmed by Zoro's reaction in that scene
Looking at Gunko's intro card, it doesn't say that she's a world noble, unlike Shamrock. So until proven otherwise, I will choose to believe that is the reason why she doesn't wear pants, because commoners aren't allowed the luxury of trousers
Y’know, it’s the reveal of Shamrock that makes me think that a certain silhouetted man might be Scopper. Because it sure would be nice to have someone on hand who could explain where babies come from (treasure chests) when Luffy inevitably has to ask how there could be two guys who look like one guy.
So if horns are a sign of ancient giant lineage, guess that confirms Kido and Yamato as giant decedents and not ogres, i think that the term that we being used. also calling it now, Luffy is going to just curve Gunko's arrows back at her.
Ogres/Oni could be the term that people came up for individuals with ancient giant heritage that aren’t the size of giants. Or maybe Kaido was just being over dramatic comparing him and Yamato to Oni.
i actually think that the fact that jarul has a sword going through his brain might mean he has some degree of memory loss, particularly the bit of the fight in the castle when the 100+ soldiers died. i would say it was some external factors involved in framing loki (namely the world government) or at least some opposition to the king may it be from the country itself. Blaming Loki would've been easy given his extravagant character and that he my have had a few tusles with his dad here and there. And since Jarul, the only other survivor didn't remember what happened, they were able to fill him in with the false story and may have been used to convince the entire country("lord jarul says agrees so it must be true" kinda situation)
I honestly believe that after Franky’s cannon head, Figarland Frank (not Shamrock, it makes me think he’s a leprechaun) has some of the best hair in the series.
He sounds like Irish. Donquixote is Spanish? Nefertari is Arabian? Maybe each main Celestial family have last names stemmed from each European/Middle-East descent.
The King Harold hatred of ancient giant blood, having a son with the not-Queen, and the evil-looking giant portrait seem to imply he may not be as good as the giants expect, especially with Harold scowling, but Loki always smiling.
Probably the ancient giants also would try conquer other countries and being the reason he removed his horns. Also being the reason we see giant skulls with horns like in Wano. 🤔
After Isekai-ed himself to the world of One Piece, Gildarts Clive renamed himself as Figarland Shamrock so that he gets his screentime he deserved at last.
Dragon once said that's all three of the holy nights were equal to his entire revolutionary force. The fact that the world government sent two of the three to apprehend Loki is pretty telling of just how powerful he is.
Now that we know the Figerland line uses Irish things as their names, now I want to know shanks birth name. I hope it was something like "Figerland Whiskey"
I think Harold was obsessed with becoming celestial and broke off the horns to show them his dedication. Was ready to do anything to achieve his goal, even take out his own horned people to show the government that they're not a threat. Loki stood up for "war land" and here we are. Jarul tried to tell us but that sword...
I think this confirms that Kaido has Ancient Giant blood in him since he's the only other character with natural horns + Onigashima is probably the skull of an Ancient Giant, which is scary to think about considering that thing is bigger than Oars.
I don't know whether or not this is going to be relevant but the sword stuck in jaruls head has a very similar desin to king harold's sword in the painting, also loki wields an axe so it seems hard to believe he really was the culprit of jarul's mindblown
My guess is, that Harald was hoping to work with the World Nobles. In the end of the chapter, second shanks said that the giants controlled the New World in ancient Times. So the World Nobles commanding harald to kill All with horns. But to so so, he need to change the view in the giant community and the first Step was to claim war is Bad. Second, the horned giants are bad, then they love war by nature and third Step is to start a Civil war. And loki learnd all of this and in the fight starts by harald to silence him
here are my thoughts on the chapter: 1. I think Gunko's fruit is the second special paramecia in the series 2. with Shank's brother being called Shamrock I think Gunko is a reference to the plant Ginko which is a symbol of hope & perseverance in Japan 3. I think that Whitebeard ally Thunder Lord Mcguy might be another one of King Herald's kids as they look alike with the eyebrows & moustache 4. Given Herald's facial tattoo I think Ripley has connections to Herald & the royal court 5. Ripley could have been a pirate on Loki's crew
3:24 that's why probably Rayleigh told Luffy n crew during shabaody archipelago before timeskip that they found the history of the void century but can't do much about it. As it's complicated to make conclusion.. and straw hats might come on their own conclusions by experiences they gain during their adventure 😮
Im curious about the fact that Gunko's title card didnt include the "World Noble" title like it did for Shamrock. Her first one didnt include her fruit, so it's very possible it will be revealed later, but it feels very random to not include that as it's implied that she is one. Considering they are trying to recruit Loki as a new God's Knight, is it possible Gunko just isnt a World Noble, but a former slave with high potential, thats been trained to be a warrior, or potentially searched out in a similar way to Greenbull and Fujitora where they were picked out for their strength. Shes fascinating
Loki turning about to be a good guy does change the theming of the arc quite a bit. Of if Elbaf should follow tradition or embrace a new peaceful era. Normally one piece always sides with the new era so I took Loki as the villian that represents the stubborn old ways that must learn to move for the new gen. But Elbaf might be an interesting inversion of that where the new gen might have to learn to embrace their history (also plays into Robin stuff) to defend themselves against Gods Knights
When learning about the fact that Hajrudin & Loki were brothers despite having different mothers, it reminded me of a theory i had where the Boa sisters had the same mom, but different dads, which may explain why they don't look alike. Who knows, perhaps this may prove that the Royal Brothers of Elbaph aren't entirely different from the Boa sisters of Amazon Lily. After all, just like the sisters, Hajrudin was also enslaved by a Celestial Dragon (despite being a former one), and was saved by an African themed character like Fisher Tiger, specifically God Usopp himself. Plus, if the Pirate Empress is anything like the the Accursed Prince Loki, then i wouldn't be surprised if Hancock also decline the offer of becoming one of the God's Knights, even if it helped her protect her homeland while also getting revenge on the Celestial Dragons who wronged her by doing what Garling did Mjosgard. Also, after learning how Hajrudin wasn't treated well due to his mother not being from Elbaph, while also never letting such a thing get to him, as well as being partly the reason why he wants to be the King of all Giants (not just Elbaph), perhaps Hancock might be motivated by Hajrudin's honesty assuming she ever learns about it, which may inspire her no longer let her fear of being vulnerable get the better of her again.
Ngl i see the way i know a new chap dropped is when you drop the video so the thumbnail was unfair. That being said, for some reason I forgot the whole thumbnail kinda like zoro forgetting that old mermaid when he met caimie.
The exposition of Harald rejecting his heritage and ripping his horns off could also be a setup for a reveal that other giants have actual horns we thought were part of their helmets. Would be typical of Oda to fool us right under our nose. Imagine Colon to be revealed to have ancient giant blood as well and only normal giant sized because he is also half human. His coming out then could further escalate the strife between the giants ideologies. Or maybe he was already shown without helmet and I'm just totally off track here.
He's finally here, performing for you, if you know the words you can join in too So put your hands together, if you wanna clap, we'll take you through, this red haired rap!
Maybe shanks and shamrock have the same situation as Loki and hajruden same dad but different moms. Shanks mom could have been a normal person instead of a celestial dragon so he was about to be thrown out at god valley until Roger found him
I can’t help but feel that the reveal if Figarland Shamrock would’ve had more of an impact if we didn’t know about Shanks’s connection to the Figarland family thanks to One Piece Film Red.
More evidence of the genius of Oda-sensei. You know he's deep in the lore of Chad. And I mean c'mon, Sham is pretty flamboyant... Excellent fun fact! Got my "learn something new every day" out of the way before 8am! You win the comments!
I feel they would reveal that the hundred soldiers including Jarul were part of a secret coup orchestrated by Loki to stop Harald from doing something catastrophic. However, Jarul can never admit being a traitor or was maybe exonerated by Loki taking all the blame and ordering Jarul to keep their secret. Either way he will recount the tragic flashback where we see him coming to terms with living free and respected while his respected leader is disparaged and chained 😢
One thing to consider with Elbaph is aside from Herald the other prominent figure on Elbaph way back in the day who wanted "peace" even before Loki was born was Mother Caramel
I'm gonna say it... Jarl is Harald. The sword is there to keep his helmet on, his portrait from the castle is a picture of him from centuries ago (which is why he looks so young,) and he never ate the Devil Fruit Loki has, which is why he's not dead and didn't need to die for Loki to get the fruit. The scars on his head will be how he's identified as Harald, and the entire country of Elbaf is covering something up about those horns.
@@RaggedLands no, I'm saying the people of Elbaph are keeping his identity a secret even from the king because they are LYING about the king and Loki and what happened the day the fight at the castle happened. This isn't the first time we saw a father figure come back from the dead; Momo's grandfather revealed himself after Wano was free.
I don’t think that we are going to be leaving or even majorly cutting away from elbaf any time soon so I think that Dragon Doing Nothing is pretty locked in.
it's possible that jarul suffered some brain damage from the sword, so he got the details of the fight confused. after all, loki uses a hammer (which he still has), harold uses a sword.
My theory is Loki killed Harold because he was about to concede to the WG(This explains the Royal Knight's teleport). The ripping of his own horns out was essentially him showing his palms to the WG. Jarul I legit have no idea. Maybe there were factions and he came in at the end? Maybe the sword through his head caused some brain damage?
I think Loki devil fruit could be the Hito Hito No Mi Model Prometheus, even though one of big moms homies shares the name. Loki (the god) was also tied up resembling that of the Greek Titan Prometheus (god of fire). Would then also explain why Hajrudin went for the fire logia instead being the next best thing to a god of fire. Could also maybe be that they thought it was the Nika fruit since it would visually maybe be the closest to what stories would describe as a sun god. Prometheus was also said to have stolen the fire from Olympus and was a champion of mankind. If it is his fruit my guess is that he has some sort for regeneration properties as well since Prometheus would have his liver eaten and it would grow back the next day. If we see Loki without any bruises or damage from the attacks next chapter I would consider this theory confirmed!
@@espenbrandt9518 Oh yes yes! That is a really good idea! Maybe Oda will mix them both by giving Loki Surtr's fire sword that could be one of the Supreeme Grade Swords
Anyone else think King Harald (with horns) would look like Ussop in his elbaph outfit? Maybe some foreshadowing about themes of lying or bravery in Haralds backstory
If i had a nickel everytime someone came see Loki to rally Elbaph behind there flag, i'd have two nickel... Wich isn't a lot, but it's still weird that it happened more than once !

That thumbnail is aggressive 😂 RIP to everyone who didnt read the scans within 24 hours lmao

The sword in Jarul's head could also be messing with his memory of the event. Having the only living witness left be someone with a sword scrambling up their brain probably might have skewed public perception of what happened that day
"Hearts 'n stars n' clovers, horseshoes and blue moons. Pots o' gold 'n rainbows and little red balloons!!"
*_- Shamrock summoning the portal probably_*
It is the wrongest of things to say to a man on the internet, but yet the most wholesome scene of the chapter belongs to the pervy Otaku Rodo.
Every creepy pervert was an innocent child once, doesn’t excuse what they grow into but it’s heartwarming to see Hajrudin befriend him.

0:06 When Luffy eventually fights Shamrock, the latter is gonna show the Power of Two Hands contrasting Shanks who only has one.
Ah yes, the legendary Kenpachi technique of "using two hands on the sword"
I wonder what hand he uses to fight. We know Shanks was lefthanded, and now he uses his righthand. And his sword is on his right side. Shamrock has sword on his left side, so I assume he also has to be right handed (cause that's kinda the way you draw sword - with your right hand from left side). Or he IS left handed and draws his sword the same way Shanks does.
exactly what i immediately thought. dba has left a huge impact on our way of thinking

I thnik that similar to what happened with Loki, she is a commoner who got enrolled into the god knights..
She can't even have a decently sized skirt lmfao
I feel like we were too hard on Kishimoto when I see what Oda does with some of his female characters smh. Big meme to this
It also might explain why she has a Devil Fruit power. The only other Celestial user we know of is Doflamingo
@@Eyoballin Oda's female characters are still 10x better than kishimoto's still tbh.
He is called "Shamrock" because he's a sham, and Luffy is gonna rock him
Red Roc to his red noggin
If you notice internet man…loki has a bandage on his horn. Could this mean he takes pride in his ancient giant origins?
or Harold tried to have it removed or some tragedy as a child, one of Oda's classic flashback.
I know this might that sound stupid but seing someone who looks like shanks but without the scar is really uncanny to me
The arm to me is worse
Its strange seeing him with 2
It's the arm to me bro 😭
Yeah I understand where people are coming from with the two arms
Ever seen/read Fairy Tail? lol
@@aliveandwellinisrael2507 oh yeah, but Gildarts has 1 arm as well
Zoro's "That kind of boring motivation is nothing new to me" is now one of my favorite panels in One Piece.
Harold looks so cool oda ain't slacking in design for the giants
Fr I’m loving his design
Y’know, it’s the reveal of Shamrock that makes me think that a certain silhouetted man might be Scopper. Because it sure would be nice to have someone on hand who could explain where babies come from (treasure chests) when Luffy inevitably has to ask how there could be two guys who look like one guy.
So if horns are a sign of ancient giant lineage, guess that confirms Kido and Yamato as giant decedents and not ogres, i think that the term that we being used.
also calling it now, Luffy is going to just curve Gunko's arrows back at her.
Ya ogres or oni or something.
Ogres/Oni could be the term that people came up for individuals with ancient giant heritage that aren’t the size of giants. Or maybe Kaido was just being over dramatic comparing him and Yamato to Oni.
who is Kido?
i actually think that the fact that jarul has a sword going through his brain might mean he has some degree of memory loss, particularly the bit of the fight in the castle when the 100+ soldiers died.
i would say it was some external factors involved in framing loki (namely the world government) or at least some opposition to the king may it be from the country itself.
Shamrock is introduced as a World Noble, while Gunko is not. Seems like confirmation that not all Holy Knights are World Nobles.
Shanks's lawyer: as I've said before, my client is innocent"
I honestly believe that after Franky’s cannon head, Figarland Frank (not Shamrock, it makes me think he’s a leprechaun) has some of the best hair in the series.
He sounds like Irish. Donquixote is Spanish? Nefertari is Arabian?
Maybe each main Celestial family have last names stemmed from each European/Middle-East descent.
@@aintijustthecutest3863 Probably Oda ironically making the World Nobles diverse and showing to some extent they represent the world.
RIP anime-only people’s RUclips feed…
The King Harold hatred of ancient giant blood, having a son with the not-Queen, and the evil-looking giant portrait seem to imply he may not be as good as the giants expect, especially with Harold scowling, but Loki always smiling.
Probably the ancient giants also would try conquer other countries and being the reason he removed his horns. Also being the reason we see giant skulls with horns like in Wano. 🤔
Maybe the ancient giants were in someway allied with nika so jarul hid his true lineage to show loyalty to the world government
Loki is basically saying "Shanks, but no Shanks"
I feel like the reason behind shanks being abandoned could be due to some superstition regarding siblings and how they bring bad luck, etc.
Shanks beat the allegations
After Isekai-ed himself to the world of One Piece, Gildarts Clive renamed himself as Figarland Shamrock so that he gets his screentime he deserved at last.
Dragon once said that's all three of the holy nights were equal to his entire revolutionary force.
The fact that the world government sent two of the three to apprehend Loki is pretty telling of just how powerful he is.
Finally "rat" shanks theory can end now
Now that we know the Figerland line uses Irish things as their names, now I want to know shanks birth name. I hope it was something like "Figerland Whiskey"
This thumbnail is as scummy as it gets. Hope you find some integrity one day.
Yeah; that's been my problem too with the youtube channel "Anime Balls Deep".
I think Harold was obsessed with becoming celestial and broke off the horns to show them his dedication. Was ready to do anything to achieve his goal, even take out his own horned people to show the government that they're not a threat. Loki stood up for "war land" and here we are. Jarul tried to tell us but that sword...
8:27 I will never be able to unhear "Jaguar Diesel" now
I think this confirms that Kaido has Ancient Giant blood in him since he's the only other character with natural horns + Onigashima is probably the skull of an Ancient Giant, which is scary to think about considering that thing is bigger than Oars.
I thought he is an oni and there are supposed to have Horn
This is Caesar Clown erasure
Moria has horns too, if I'm not mistaken
There are a lot of characters with horns for that matter.
That one Doflamingo's crewmate had horns and he was a fishman

Holy shit is this Breaking Bad S02E11 reference?
yo any progress??
Awesome video, as always! Your effort really shows.
here are my thoughts on the chapter:
1. I think Gunko's fruit is the second special paramecia in the series
2. with Shank's brother being called Shamrock I think Gunko is a reference to the plant Ginko which is a symbol of hope & perseverance in Japan
3. I think that Whitebeard ally Thunder Lord Mcguy might be another one of King Herald's kids as they look alike with the eyebrows & moustache
4. Given Herald's facial tattoo I think Ripley has connections to Herald & the royal court
5. Ripley could have been a pirate on Loki's crew
Because you keep calling him frank, and now he's shamrock. I will confuse this guy with frank shamrock, oldskool mma fighter
really have to give a shoutout to the artist for having SUCH good art of all the new characters that get revealed SO quick. You're doing great!!
Great video, as usual! You never fail to impress.
3:24 that's why probably Rayleigh told Luffy n crew during shabaody archipelago before timeskip that they found the history of the void century but can't do much about it. As it's complicated to make conclusion.. and straw hats might come on their own conclusions by experiences they gain during their adventure 😮
How is NO ONE acknowledging “SHAMROCK SHANKS”
Shamrock Shakes. Come on people. It’s right there!
I was today years old when I found out Aeon is caught up with the one piece manga
Luffy: "Shanks it's you but what happened to your scar? And how do you have your arm back? And why are you trying to kill me?! .... Ohhh"

Same. I was hoping he’d release a video before I went to bed.
Here it's 3.50 pm

Loki turning about to be a good guy does change the theming of the arc quite a bit. Of if Elbaf should follow tradition or embrace a new peaceful era. Normally one piece always sides with the new era so I took Loki as the villian that represents the stubborn old ways that must learn to move for the new gen. But Elbaf might be an interesting inversion of that where the new gen might have to learn to embrace their history (also plays into Robin stuff) to defend themselves against Gods Knights
Loveee your videos looking forward to it everyday!!
Thank you for the kind words! :D
Also, after learning how Hajrudin wasn't treated well due to his mother not being from Elbaph, while also never letting such a thing get to him, as well as being partly the reason why he wants to be the King of all Giants (not just Elbaph), perhaps Hancock might be motivated by Hajrudin's honesty assuming she ever learns about it, which may inspire her no longer let her fear of being vulnerable get the better of her again.
so that’s what shanks looks like if he takes baths 😂
Ngl i see the way i know a new chap dropped is when you drop the video so the thumbnail was unfair. That being said, for some reason I forgot the whole thumbnail kinda like zoro forgetting that old mermaid when he met caimie.
why did u have to put his name in the thumbnail????!!! i just got spoilered because of that shit. bruh bruh bruuuuuh
He's finally here, performing for you, if you know the words you can join in too
So put your hands together, if you wanna clap, we'll take you through, this red haired rap!
Hah! If you wanna clap eh? I can think of one guy who'd be left out of the fun sing-along lmfao!
Maybe shanks and shamrock have the same situation as Loki and hajruden same dad but different moms. Shanks mom could have been a normal person instead of a celestial dragon so he was about to be thrown out at god valley until Roger found him
I wonder if Shamrock and Clover are cousins 🤔
😮
And clover he is D clan
I love how zoro was so unimpressed by Hajrudins wish to become king of the giants. It's like everyone wants to be some kind of king for something😂
The guy who was assumed to be a fake/clone of shanks for years is Named Figarland SHAMrock
Either they’re just proudly Irish or Oda is being hilarious
Honestly my first thought, so Garling is Rocks brother if his son is the Sham Rocks. I smoke too much some days...
I can’t help but feel that the reveal if Figarland Shamrock would’ve had more of an impact if we didn’t know about Shanks’s connection to the Figarland family thanks to One Piece Film Red.
We would of figured it out when we saw Gatling looking exactly like Shanks in god valley
@ I suppose that’s true as well.
Shamrock in chadi means gay
More evidence of the genius of Oda-sensei. You know he's deep in the lore of Chad. And I mean c'mon, Sham is pretty flamboyant...
Excellent fun fact! Got my "learn something new every day" out of the way before 8am! You win the comments!
13:40 Shamrock looks like the guy who quotes Shakespeare at parties.
I really like the Arrow devil fruit, it's awesome.
Either way he will recount the tragic flashback where we see him coming to terms with living free and respected while his respected leader is disparaged and chained 😢
his aura is on another level
Nuh his dress seems little feminine
@@shader23 I think it's the white colors and the way it was drawn that slightly threw me off. He looks like a twink if you squint

One thing to consider with Elbaph is aside from Herald the other prominent figure on Elbaph way back in the day who wanted "peace" even before Loki was born was Mother Caramel
Gunko has control over the "to be continued" arrows.
But we SAW Jarl in Big Moms flashback before Harald died, and he was alread old there?
@RaggedLands like I said, the portrait is old, maybe even centuries old
@@Aequitas_RJ so you're saying king harald has lead a double life for multiple decades, possibly centuries?
@@RaggedLands no, I'm saying the people of Elbaph are keeping his identity a secret even from the king because they are LYING about the king and Loki and what happened the day the fight at the castle happened.
This isn't the first time we saw a father figure come back from the dead; Momo's grandfather revealed himself after Wano was free.
@@Aequitas_RJ why, when they're lying, is loki chained?
I don’t think that we are going to be leaving or even majorly cutting away from elbaf any time soon so I think that Dragon Doing Nothing is pretty locked in.
Man on the internet does this possibly confirm it was stabs that was the one in the cloak that met with the elders?
obviously
it's possible that jarul suffered some brain damage from the sword, so he got the details of the fight confused. after all, loki uses a hammer (which he still has), harold uses a sword.
My theory is Loki killed Harold because he was about to concede to the WG(This explains the Royal Knight's teleport). The ripping of his own horns out was essentially him showing his palms to the WG. Jarul I legit have no idea. Maybe there were factions and he came in at the end? Maybe the sword through his head caused some brain damage?
shout out to the artists man, you always seem to have some cool looking art as soon as it happens on the manga
What about model Sutur? The fire giant that conflagrates the earth at ragnarok
I can't believe they released the Shamrock Shanks so far before March this year!
you know what's really funny?
if memory serves, the 4kids dub DID make Shanks irish
So I have 2 things about the chapter
1) I want Shamrock's hair to be an emerald green
2) with what we know now was Shamrock talking about Loki when he met the 5 elders?
Gunko's power is very creative. However, against a future sight user, she would lose 2x 😅
