Hey great video. Don't forget you also have usb ports on the back of the panels you can use to charge your phone or battery packs while charging the Jackery.

Hey Greg, That would have been a great point to have included in the video. Thanks. Cheers.

I also noticed in the video how you used the rain gutters to hold the solar panels. That's a great idea I'll have to use

Hey Greg, That’s good to hear. It’s a cool spot to mount them for sure. Cheers.

I have the same size Ecoflow and can run two panels and it doubles the input wattage because the Ecoflow will handle up to 220 watts of solar input. Jackery's problem is they haven't upgraded all their models to Lifepo4 batteries like everyone else.

That’s a good point. People looking to buy a rechargeable lithium battery should be aware of the difference. Thanks for pointing it out. Cheers.

    Would u get the same power from one 200w rather than 1 - 100w + 100w panels

I’m not really sure. I’m not technically in the know, but I imagine that the way they connect all the cells in one larger panel would be optimized compared to collecting from two separate panels. Maybe?🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks Dino. I didn't realise that the Jackery had such a low input maximum. I like how you got the 2 panels to work with Jackery. Where did you buy the adapter cables?

Hey Gary, The Jackery Y connector was sent to me by Jackery. I asked how I can purchase it, and they just sent it. The Anderson to 8mm DC Barrel connector adapter cable was purchased on Amazon. The link is in the description. Cheers.

I’ve never played with solar. Always wanted to look into it. Thanks for making it seem easy. The Jackery system looks really easy. Also didn’t know about running the cord through the door.

Excellent video! Well explained. I wouldn't have had the patience to find the sweet spot in the door. Kodos to you for that.

You might want to look into ecoflow river 2 max to compared to your jackery 500

It is 2000km vs. 4500km drives (x2) for you, but BC landscapes and mountains are worth visiting...
