    This was awesome thanks Dr Paul! Do you find you try and use the contrasters as much as possible to avoid the extra time in having to play around with powerpoint/adobe?

    • @DrPaulsDentalWorld
      @DrPaulsDentalWorld  3 года назад +1

      Yeah exactly. Take the shot and it's done!
      The computer way is more for people that want the same effect but don't have the contraster.

    Hi Dr Paul, this is a very good one! Do you have a preferred camera setting / setup that you set only once? Looking for a way to streamline my friends dental photograph workflow

    • @DrPaulsDentalWorld
      @DrPaulsDentalWorld  3 года назад +2

      Thank you! Yeah I do. I have written a script to make a video about it, and will get to it eventually
      I set the shutter speed to 1/125, iso to 100 (or 200) and then change the f stop (f/9 for full face, f/14 for close extra oral, f/29 for intra oral, f/16 for occlusal mirror shots). Changing the f stop can be set so it is done simply with a dial so it can be done very quickly

      @@DrPaulsDentalWorld really appreciate this doc! lot of videos on youtube about dental photo settings are quite complicated, if there's a simple 1, 2, 3 steps video about it, I believe it will help tremendously 👍

    • @DrPaulsDentalWorld
      @DrPaulsDentalWorld  3 года назад +3

      Yeah the one I've done is an a to z in what you need to know to get started today. It will be long, but will be simplified and easy to execute.
      I might do a condensed one about best settings to use too

    Why can't we cut 2mm thick acrylic plates and spray paint them black matte color? Super cheap contrasters.

    • @DrPaulsDentalWorld
      @DrPaulsDentalWorld  3 года назад +1

      Great idea! I'm sure there's lots of contraster alternatives
