    One great conductor speaking with admiration of another. Boult was truly a prince of a man.

    Thank you for uploading that - Boult was probably the greatest ever British conductor, and also an accessible man who didn't affect the grandiosity of some; a quick mind, deep intelligence, and one of the best influences on 20th century British music, without ever being narrowly nationalistic.

      With Beecham or even Barbarolli, a bit of an overestimation. But Boult certainly had his innings...
