- Hi friends, welcome to the second studio vlog ✨I'll be sharing the struggles I've encountered with my small business during February in my little art studio. I tried to document it in chronological way so that the video is easy to follow.

Hi friends 🐨I have resurfaced from my art cave and editing cave with this release! Watching this back was equally as painful as funny xD Anyeways, some minor editing derps from my side. Apologies! I love your video! I saw in a Sundrop Studios video that she uses a laminator with a cool setting instead of hot to press the paper. Maybe that could help too?

hi, when you test print try making your designs smaller so you don't waste so much paper
Thanks for the tip (: I did know that but in my hectic mania I lost the oversight and just went with it 😅 Nowadays I always print things small first
omgg your art is so amazing 💜💜 i got excited about the products just watching the video!! oh, is that the silhouette plotter? if so i have one too, sometimes it just gets angry and doesn't want to read the markings on the sheet anyway hsshdj but what i've seen is that when the glossy or holographic broken glass lamination also covers the markings it has a harder time reading. another thing that can also happen is that the printer, when pulling the sheet to print, sometimes ends up leaving the print not completely straight as it should be, so it also has trouble reading the marks. I saw another artist who put a mini lamp next to the silhouette to help her read the marks better, but I haven't tested this yet.
and please would you mind sharing the print settings that ended up working with print? i've been going through the same dilemma with a canon printer

- The Silhouette wouldn't read the paper ): Staying clear of that area has saved me a lot of paper and I do recommend you testint that out with the holo lamination. Just holographic sticker paper hasn't worked out at all and I'm going to manufacture that in the future for an easier time and less stress (:
@@thedragonflysystem1806 for the right settings: you have to make sure you're choosing the right paper type in your print/printer settings. Once that's done I have the document file in Photoshop set to US Web Coated SWOP - Normal printing - Perceptual + black point compensation. After that it's a lot of print testing, depending on the colors of your print. I hope that helps (:
