I've been suffering from depression for almost half a year now, and it got worse in the last few weeks. I don't know why, but songs like these are kind of a solace to me, even if they sound sad. This song makes me cry and gives me a feeling of some kind of happiness that I haven't felt for so long. I don't know if anybody even cares, just thought I'd share.
*edit* it’s been more than 6 years since I wrote this comment. Love and good vibes to everyone that wrote a kind word to me in the comments. I’m in such a fucking amazing place right now that if I told myself those 6 years ago that things do indeed will get better, I would laugh at myself. I was hopeless back then. It took time, effort, energy, emotions, that dreaded first move forward - but it was worth it. I now look back at this comment and this tune, and I come back to those times... depression is awful, and I speak for many when I say that when you are in that state at times you feel that there is absolutely nothing that can help - it’s bullshit. Put some power in yourself and TRY to turn things around - That’s the best advice I can give. Trying fails often, but trying is also hoping. And once you start to try, to hope, you will see the fruits soon. For me, the biggest change was when I stopped „just” waking up, instead waking up and feeling the excitement that every new day may bring something new. We aren’t here to suffer! We are here to experience the wonders of life, the people we meet, and the planet we were given! And whenever you feel you’ve reached a dead end, acknowledge that there is ALWAYS a way to start again. And... talk to people. Don’t be afraid to speak your mind. People do care about you and will try to help you - you just gotta let them know.
Take it slowly, brothers and sisters. Let stuff go, you know? Sunny days are coming!
Take good care and believe that no matter how bad it may be, it will get better. Love, peace, and belief in everyone! :)

Man I liked this girl and she started to play me and I got really depressed and unsociable with other class mates but since I found out about Mac it helped me get through that. I know what you feel

Lately, I've been hit with a wave of depression. It's been really bad. A few weeks ago I asked this girl named Sally if she wanted to play with me at recess but she said no and ran away to hide behind the slide. It hurt a lot. Also, my parents make me go to sleep at 9:30. They never let me stay up until 10. My big brother, who is in the 5th grade, keeps picking on me too. He threw some of my Hot Wheels in the trash. All of these things are going wrong in my life but Mac's music makes it a little easier to cope with all of the stress.
