Hi Aaron, my iPhone went black the other day while I was just checking the time. It wasn’t dropped, didn’t get wet, overheated, or anything like that-it was just a regular night. The repair guy told me the screen was burnt out, and I believe him because the iPhone still made sounds and vibrated, but nothing showed up on the screen. I even tried restoring it, but nothing worked, so I ended up having the screen replaced. Do you think this could’ve been caused by the beta? iPhone 13 normal.
I had weak cell signal at my house 15 pro max on 17.6.1 with only 1 bar. After updating to 18 public beta 5 I now have 3 bars and phone is running really well. Nice improvement for me, thanks for the videos, I always watch them.

I updated my devices (phone, watch, laptop) to try out the new password app. I currently sub to 1password, it comes due in a couple of weeks but am not going to renew, the new apple password app is enough for my use.
Is it affect battery health? I want to download PB 5 but im afraid of battery health dropping and of battery heats.. nothing else , if its a little buggy i dont care I have 15 pro and still on ios 17.6.1

I’m using the beta on an old iPhone 13 but I’d be hesitant to update my 15 pro max even when ios18 is released, I don’t like what they’ve done to pictures app, they’ve changed nothing in messaging or the phone app, it’s still the same, I like the new calendar and the new pull down screen but it’s not a major upgrade given the monster Apple is, they haven’t done enough in my opinion, any new software will be buggy for a while anyway even when it’s released so I think I’ll be holding off and staying on iOS 17 for a while

I have head and eye tracking on my 11 Pro Max in my settings. The gestures like blinking do not work at all. Will they have that feature for most iPhones eventually?
Tips works for me. A huge bug is with Face ID and the passwords app. Simply try auto filling a password and purposely don’t look at the phone so Face ID fails then choose cancel and it will auto fill the info anyway! I’m surprised this has not been resolved yet and yes feedback has been submitted.
5:04 - Idk, the Control Center has been the buggiest, most frustrating thing about the iOS 18 Beta for me. With each Beta version it feels like it doesn't improve, nor does it feel like anything at all improves if I'm being honest.
Since i updated to ios 18 i had this issue with cellular data ( i use 4g on my e sim ) stops working even when it's turned on on settings and the control center but it doesn't show in the notification bar , i tried to turn it on and off but it didn't help , the only solution is turning airplane mode on and off then it works until it disappears again . Do you think it's an ios bug or something that has to do with my phone or my carrier ?

Saw the when you go to settings then general then to autofill & passwords and under autofill form, you can only pick three to turn on. Apple has set a limit. It would be great if their was no limit. Just have it unlimited. Other then that it has been running great so far. Can not wait for beta 6 of IOS 18. Thanks for your great videos.

Put a clock widget single medium size with UTC. Pressed and held and changed it to single small and then changed it back. Now there is Cupertino instead as time zone.

Works very fine so far on my 15 Pro, also Beta 6 was pretty good so far.

You can’t just go to dark mode you have to actually switch the icons to dark mode or automatic

I wouldn’t say it’s recommended but if you’re worried about bugs or battery I wouldn’t update. If you don’t care about those things, then sure.

It’s the same as how to downgrade to iOS 17. You just need the IPSW file.

Just a heads-up after updating to the newest public beta the mirroring icon in control did appear on my 11 pro
Also in Control they fixed the landscape mode. Before the brightness and volume were in the Center and now on the far right 👍🙏
