TVXQ's "Rebel" is their lead track from their 9th full-length Korean album, 20&2 -- 20 years and still 2 members strong -- which was released on their anniversary, Dec. 26, as a celebration of their 20th anniversary.
You now need to see them perform "Rebel" with the choreography live. You think it looks crazy in the MV, but they actually do most of that all live as well.
If you haven't yet, you should also check out their pre-release track from this album, called "Down." And you definitely need to check out their Killing Voice performance.
TVXQ truly are all-time legends in the music industry. As an SM Entertainment group, it's no surprise that they are outstanding vocalists. TVXQ was originally supposed to be a purely acapella group, so they all have amazing vocals. They actually have several acapella performances in their early days that really showcase how amazing they were as vocalists. TVXQ is one of the reasons why SM is known as a vocal powerhouse and why the company has come to be known for having some of the best dancers and vocalists in the industry.
Here is some background to help you understand the dynamics of TVXQ better. TVXQ (English and Chinese)/DBSK (Korean)/ Tohoshinki (Japanese), which each are the abbreviations/acronyms of the words in each language that translates to mean "Rising Gods of the East," debuted in 2003 as a 5 member group. But, in 2010 three of their members left SM Entertainment and the group and formed a new group called JYJ -- the initials of the members: Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong. (Up until recently, JYJ was still a group and they still produced music, but because they left SM Entertainment -- one of the most powerful and influential companies in the industry -- on less than ideal terms, it has made it more difficult for them to promote themselves and their music. So the members of JYJ are more known as actors and producers than they are as singers now.)
However, Max/Changmin and U-Know/Yunho continued as TVXQ as a duo. As you can see, even now as a duo they are so talented that they have the vocal range to cover all the parts of a song between the two of them, including rap.
Changmin (the youngest member) was 15 and U-Know was 17 years old when they debuted. Therefore, although they are one of the senior Kpop groups, Changmin is only 35 and U-Know is 37. TVXQ is SM's most senior group that is still active, but U-Know and Changmin are still younger than, or the same age as, many of the members of the legendary groups who came after them within their generation. They are best friends with Super Junior and they pretty much all grew up together. Changmin is also best friends with Minho from SHINee. And Xiumin from EXO says Changmin was one of the reason why he auditioned for SM because he wanted to meet Changmin and become like him.
As you heard, Changmin is known for his powerful high notes -- even more powerful than Onew or Jonghyun from SHINee or Chen and Baekhyun from EXO -- he literally has one of the widest note ranges of almost any Kpop artist. In a high note battle he always wins.
It wouldn't be a TVXQ/Changmin song if we didn't get to hear at least one unbelievable high note from him. (Fun fact: Changmin got married in 2020 and he became a father to a boy last year.)
U-Know is known for his dancing and his passion for dancing and singing. He is also the rapper of the group. (U-Know truly loves what he does and doesn't hide it. He will tell you he is proud of his accomplishments and he is proud of his work. His off-the-charts passion and intensity is kind of a running joke within the industry. It's one of the things he is most known for.)
The funny thing is personality-wise, Changmin and U-Know are complete opposites in almost every way. Changmin is quiet, calm and level headed and prefers to be alone; and U-Know is loud, high energy, intense and prefers to be with a group of people.
Tohoshinki (TVXQ) are one of the most famous singers in Japan as well, even among Japanese artists. And like SHINee and BoA, etc., they are so popular in Japan that they are considered part of the mainstream music scene. TVXQ has one of the biggest worldwide fan bases and they sell out some of the largest concert venues in the world. They are one of SM Entertainment's top selling groups, easily selling out concert tours around the world.
TVXQ's fandom is Cassiopeia and their fan color is pearl red -- which is why you see one of the primary colors in most of TVXQ's MVs is red -- and when you attend a TVXQ concert you will see an ocean of red. Welcome to the Cassiopeia fandom. (Their fandom is named after the 5-starred constellation, Cassiopeia, because they originally were 5 members who were supposed to be gods who came from the stars.) If you like TVXQ then you are a Cassi. (In Japan their fans are called BigEast because Tohoshinki are Gods of the East and they have one of the largest fandoms.)

Welcome to the incredible world of TVXQ!! They debuted in 2003, which means they are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. They used to be a group of 5 members prior to their split in 2009. The two current members (2010 - present) are UKnow Yunho (37) and Max Changmin (35). Their 9th album, "20&2" just released on Dec. 26 and you should for sure give it a listen as it is full of bangers.
I also recommend you check out their episode of Killing Voice here on youtube, as it will provide a wonderful starting intro to their massive and varied discography.

Thank you for the reaction, I really love how you focus on the mv before really comment about it.
    And to answer your questions:
    1. Yes, only two of them now, since 2010(?).
    2. Changmin do have good skin. There was an article about his skincare routine, include more than 10-steps. But it was so long ago.
    3. Yes, it is a mountain of people. I mean, it is a really high stage(?) and the model standing around it. Both of them do a reaction and comments on the MV in their channel.
    4. TVXQ debut on 2003, and this album is for celebrating their 20th anniversary.
And I agree with other comments, you might want to check their killing voice AND maybe you can also check their performance at Nissan Stadium 👍🏻👍🏻

If you're looking to hear a variety of their 20 year discography, I'd recommend checking their Killing Voice video that recently came out. It has over 30 minutes of them performing a medley of their songs live!

I hope you check out their album, and also check out them on Killing Voice of you want know the 'summary' of their discographies.
They were a 5-member group before the other 3 members parted ways in 2009, and TVXQ was officially a duo since 2011 till now. So I'll recommend only duo songs 🥰
They have MASSIVE discographies and more than half of them are Japanese releases cuz have SOLID fanbases in Japan they've sold out Tokyo Domes for 30 times and 89 times of all domes in Japan throughout their 20 years of carreer. They have nearly 1000 songs too.😅
    Songs that I recommend:
    Keep Your Head Down
    Before You Go
    Catch Me
    Something
    Spellbound
    The Chance of Love
    Epitaph (jp release)
    Solo works:
U-know Yunho: Follow, Thank U, Nexus
    Max Changmin: Chocolate, Maniac, Devil
    I hope you'll do a marathon. 😬
