hi! i'm the guy who "found" the Turbo/Fierce Battle reference. It actually isn't it's actually a reference to Sandopolis Zone from Sonic 3 the devs told me in the comments i just assumed it was Turbo/Fierce Battle cause Vs. Mecha was the only other full week Sonic-based mod at the time and thought the devs wanted to shout it out (but it isn't and i'm fucking stupid)
You know, I really like how they made Sonic.exe uglier in this mod, I see a lot of fan content making him rather a badass villain [Which I fuck with] rather than an ugly, disrespectful demon that took the form of an idol to kill his targets.
I love this mod and Obituary as much as the next guy, but I have to admit it; the singing before EXE section sucks absolute donkey balls. I appreciate the effort to switch it up, and though the lyrics aren't all bad, the way they're sung is just terrible. It’s harsh, but hey, still a great song.
Kinda upsetting to know too that the person who sang those parts said himself he couldn't sing good so he went through the effort to train an AI on his own voice so it'd sound better. When it just kinda. doesn't.

Also, now knowing the singing is AI makes it that much worse. Idk why, just stupid in my mind. Many ways to not result in poo singing that weren't taken for unknown reasons.
