I played during alpha had an absolutely amazing time doing guild trade runs and having massive pvp events running those packs to the opposite factions big cities. quit as soon as the cash shop came out. During alpha labour gain was at 8x (iirc) the rate they turned it down to once the cash shop launched
Might be a good time to try out AAC. Currently in the plans from the dev team includes -- Catchup patch a. New gear boxes for all players, allowing newbies to get a quick boost and older players to try new classes without sinking gold into required gear
This came out and it will get you a decent competitive GS at lvl 55 to pass some of the 'catch up' grind, it keeps it fair by not letting you regrade it past celestial as well and no upgrade paths, so it's not going to be your 'forever set' at all, but it'll help you stay competitive while you work on gear.
I know this is 4 months old, but how is the population in AAC? I need to scratch my nostalgic itch 😭. Game had sooo much potential. Really great video btw!
@@briarroseeam an active player on AAC, currently dealing with player transfers from east to west, and w st to east. It's shifted the power dynamic at the moment, the population seems to be good. Weekdays aren't that active but weekends are popping!
@@briarrosee Well now it's much older sorry LOL I completely missed these comments. Honestly after making that comment I felt like it was going really downhill and that was regretting vouching for it because two big guilds left, but I've been logging in to do basic stuff here and there and it seems to me like the server's coming very much back alive.
its kind of sad, earlier back then my pc was not great, and where I lived the internet was god awfull, too unstable to try mmos but time moved on, things got better, worse in some aspects and responsabilities kept me away from most games I wanted to try, recently archeage came to mind! wanted to check it out just to see the shut down notice feels kinda sad
It's honestly for the better that it finally shut down, there were so few players that all it would do is be an invitation to loneliness for everyone but your wallet potentially lmao. AA Classic is pretty fun though! I stopped playing consistently but it's still something I log into occasionally which is not something I could say for any other MMO, being able to just play casually. (Besides OSRS ofc)
Anthalon drops mage gear? Dude.. do your fkin research before you make an hour long video. This video is like 50% outdated, 40% inaccurate and 10% made by complete noob in the game (astra wings being favourite? Ok dude lamao)
Well, it's mostly for 3.0 and prior, I stopped playing when most people did well before that, around 2.5 which was still longer than most, but obviously not the long-term players. I can't really speak to how things went when there were 50 players left among 10-times merged servers.
@@GnzsUWU oh ya video is outdated by years, and he can't even use the excuse that's it's for archeage classic because he mentions stuff from the more modern versions of archeage
Very nice video! Thank you :)
Thanks for making this

Always sounded like the perfect game that was handled very badly. This would have sucked my life away if they didnt mess it up.
I have a lot of hope for Ashes of Creation, and I don't look forward to MMOs much, so here's hoping.
But yeah archeage deserved a lot more
That music makes me miss some old friends and good times with the ex wife
Throne & Liberty soon 😡

the fact the man mentions obsidian gear should tell you this video was not up to date with the latest version of archeage.
@@hdhstarwars2723 ye but it was uploaded 8 months ago. Obsidian was playable in game like 5+ years ago. This video is a joke
