The last part of this video helps illustrate a massive weakness in PoE: the lack of an in-game auction house function. Having to rely on a website is ridiculous, especially for console players.
@@th3lon3cooki39Nice to know, the sooner the better. They get feedback for improving it, we console players get another tool built in to help with our journey.
@jambalolk poe players always encourage staying away from trade? I'll never understand that. New players need to know. Trade is for people that don't go outside much.
@EAZUP I just like to not think about trading. Makes you also experiment more with builds as you can't necessarily copy a build 1 to 1 (depending on uniques, etc.). That's just my opinion, though.
armor does not cap out and it does not even work by a percent base like shown. armor reduce a flat value of dmg and the x% is just a estimated value based on a white trashmob at your level (and even there its different since white trashmobs are very different) im very against making guides and dont even know how mechanics work. this helps nobody
cause poe (and every arpg) still heavily rely on on death effect mechanics (that you cants see clearly most of the time) this and aoe and ground effects do way to much dmg rn and imo need some down tuning. And till a few days ago with the patch, white mobs with chaos dmg dealt one shots everytime in maps and made chaos res mandatory, thank god they nerfed that atleast.
@@LofiKenobi You cant dodge stupid af on death effects, aoes, ground effects, while being in a delirium breach and cant see shit and try to avoid one shots from basic mobs lol
IF you don't dodge, you'll die. If you don't have 3k effective hp, you're going to die a lot in 79+ maps. if you try to do 80+ you're going to die to a witch casting a red spell for 2700hp. Get rid of your health gear and go ES, use grim feast and stop dying.
any poe1 nerds here? can anyone tell me how resistances work in detail? in which order do %reduction on enemies, exposure and penetration apply and does negative resistance work as a damage multiplier like they do for players? at the end what i want to know is: at which point is exposure good or even needed for a single dmg type build or mixed elemental build?
Great video! I always learn a lot from your content. Did you drop the links for the POE 2 trade sites by chance? I had a Google, but wasnt sure if I found the correct one as it redirected to POE Settlers of Kalgur
More is a diffrent pool from the basic % damage so the math for your damage in the most basic terms is Weapon x % damage ( all your % increased fire/cold/...) x any More damage so if you have 100 dps weapon and 300% increased phys damage and then you have a choice between geting 30% phys damage or 30% more, the more would be multiplied after you take weapon damage x your % increased phys/fire/cold.. so 100 x 300% increased would give you 400 then the 30% more would take the 400 and take 30% of that so 400 becomes 520 dps so always make sure that if you have alot of just % increased damage and you have a choice between 60% increased damage or 20% MORE damage the 20% more might actually be WAYYY bigger damage boost than the 60% increased damage. Hope that helped a bit.
Also for some reason attack speed on your weapon affects your weapon directly so if you look at 2 identical weapons then roll attack speed on one of them you will see the weapons attack speed change from 1,5 aps to 1,65 aps but then all your other attack speeds ( both from passive tree and any attack speed on other gear ) goes intoo just one massive attack speed pool so if your goal is to attack fast its more important to get attack speed on your weapon over any other item
I swear to god im almost done =oP but just remember more is always a diffrent pool from just % increased and if they dint change it from PoE1 all the More modifiers are last in the math for what ever attack speed , damage what ever so 20% more can be 10 times better than geting 60% increased of something if you already have alot of % increased but no % more modifyers. Im done now i swear
The issue is: How do you do this EARLY, during the campaign. I've not been able to progress because I simply can't find gear. And now whenever I try to upgrade my skillgems it simply will not let me.
@androtik2326 maybe poe2 is not the proper game for you. I don't have such probs to buy gear.

Just give it some time and mainly go for resistance and skill/support synergy. I was surprised how far that goes with timing the boss attacks. Everything seems to naturally just happen by just playing. I've never played poe before either.
@@androtik2326500 ex??? The exaggeration is too much. Either you don't know how to buy gear or making things up. One ex for each gear piece could max out your resistances. You're just clueless

Do armor and elemental resistances reduce damage taken from the energy shield or do they only reduce the damage to your HP if the ES is depleted? I have currently 0 Armor and ~10% elemental res for each type but 1000 HP and 7000 ES and I'd like to know if it still makes sense for me to get the resistances up when I'm only relying on the ES not to be depleted.
Yes, it reduces damage from your ES. Same with armour it reduces damage taken from your ES Only difference between life and ES is Life builds regenerate instantly, while ES recharges after you don't take damage for a while. That's why ES and Evasion partners very well
