    Great time!🥳 You were 7 minutes faster than me😋 I love your editing with the sub times in the corner and the music and everything 🙌🏼 So enjoyable to watch 🧩

      The sub times fading away were done "manually" since I am still a novice at editing. Inserting those times took 90% of my video editing time. 😀

    That's a very good time Steve, well done. 👍 What you should have done was removed the shrink wrap before you started your time. You would have saved six seconds by doing that. DonnaLouise did say to remove shrink wrap before starting your timer. This was because all the shrink wrap and stickers had been removed at the Worlds last year. I found the pink slowed me down a bit and resorted to shape sorting which helped. Interesting to see how everyone chose to tackle the jigsaw.

      @LogicMasterSteve  7 месяцев назад

      Yes, I realized the shrink wrap rules when I watched all the other videos... The dark pink section (that I call purple in the video) was very difficult for me, I did not see any gradient there - but other solvers mentioned one (either my eyes or my lighting were bad 😉).

      @@LogicMasterSteve I couldn't listen to the audio in the truck... (I was riding shotgun with my hubby and I had to be his navigator)... so I watched it again over lunch. So glad you had some chat buddies... especially in Vicky and Judy. Did you get to meet Vicky and the others (Donnalouise, Juby and Jeanette) at Worlds? I loved the music you selected. You definately get top points in music selection. Congrats on your best time!!!

      @@RubyNeumann Yes, I met the whole team "World Pieces" in Spain! Thanks for the music compliment. Ellie from "Ellies world of Puzzles" used Cuban music which I found appropriate - so I copied that idea with a similar soundtrack...

    Yeah!! Good job!!! 😊 But you seemed to struggle with the bag in the beginning. And so did I. That was one stubborn bag 😂

    • @LogicMasterSteve
      @LogicMasterSteve  7 месяцев назад

      Yes, the plastic was quite sturdy. If it took you really long, you can deduct the time for opening the shrink wrap because one could/should have started with the shrink wrap off. I don't care to deduct time because it cost me only approx. 5 seconds.
      Did you do well?

    Great time Steve!! This was a great puzzle to speed run!

    • @LogicMasterSteve
      @LogicMasterSteve  7 месяцев назад

      Indeed! With the distinct color sections this puzzle allowed many approaches (sorting, pure chaos,...) and it definitely had its challenging parts. You could not call it an easy puzzle but it provided many clues that made finishing it fast possible.

    Hahaha the car screeching noises stressed me out 😂

    • @LogicMasterSteve
      @LogicMasterSteve  6 месяцев назад

      Sorry! The piece of music was rather short, thus I had to fill quite a long time span by car sounds. Found only these screeching sounds in the free YT library. 😂

    maybe those Maxwell equations gave you some extra energy, better keep it, as your lucky shirt 😄

    • @LogicMasterSteve
      @LogicMasterSteve  7 месяцев назад +1

      I must confess that I do not understand those equations because I did study mathematics not physics. I got this shirt as a present because the formulae look that mathematical (I believe they are about the wave equation). Good idea to use it as a lucky puzzle shirt. 🙂

      @@LogicMasterSteve ah I see. well the beautiful thing about physics is you can use it without needing to understand it haha!
      this set of equations can describe electromagnetic waves (which light is) and how they move through something. and waves are energy, so that was my joke 😃

    Interesting that you said there are lots of speedy puzzlers out there now. I wonder if at worlds they’ll have to tighten restrictions for entry as there may be too many competitors.

    • @LogicMasterSteve
      @LogicMasterSteve  7 месяцев назад +1

      Might be necessary in 2 or 3 years - but not in 2024. They had approx. 600 participants in the individual category in 2023 and did again allow 1200 participants in 2024. This will be more than enough...

      If you are interested: At 50 minutes into the solve we both had the same 35-piece area left. You filled those pieces in within 2,5 minutes - I needed 5,5 minutes. There you gained your 3 minute advantage over me. I am still stunned how you did that. 👏💪😎
