    I found the nails helpful because when you point at a stitch you can see the exact one, on other videos I watched it’s sometime hard to tell which stitch they are talking about!❤️

    Hi there! I'm a new crocheter so don't judge me 😬. But if you wanted to make this pumpkin smaller would you just reduce how many stitches you make? Like in the very first chain... instead of 31 could you do 21 or 11 for a smaller pumpkin?

    • @ThisSouthernGirlCan
      @ThisSouthernGirlCan  2 года назад +4

      Yes. You would just make a shorter starting chain. Then however wide your piece is, crochet roughly 3 times that long and it will give you a good size

    When I do crochet work like this where it tends to curl up , I put some of my Dollar Tree pink pins ! It’ll help it weigh down to make it behave ! For this project I used 3-4 up until I got to the repeat row of popcorn stitches , I made my pumpkin a bit larger than yours & all I had on hand was the Red heart medium thyme which is almost the sage you used !

    My daughter and I will be crocheting this when she comes for a visit. What’s the size of the pumpkin? Can it be made bigger? Can’t wait to make it. So cute.
