Not trying to talk trash or go back and forth negatively but honest question 🙋🏽♂️ why get a 4 door 5 person m3 to get a roll cage instead of a m4? Of a m5 or m6 gran ?
That's is exactly two cars I'm in between either G80 competition xDrive or C8 Z06. There are few things that 2023 z06 will not have that for me can be a game changer. 1) z06 has NA motor, and low torque(470) While S58 can do 750hp /700lb.tq just on a dp+e50tune. If I'm buying M3 G80 I'll tune it straight the way. 2) z06 is a rwd and in Florida 7/10days is rain and having 700hp car with rwd is more dangerous (even though it mid engine) than 750hp xDrive since I'm driving aggresive. If c8 z06 would be twinturbo and awd, I would not even think about g80., because of the tune potential of turbo motors
Love the front canards! I will definitely be picking up those for mine. Interested in seeing the Front Lip. Currently the Vorsteiner looks the best but we will see what happens as more manufacturers come out with their options. Definitely interested in more aggressive options for the front lip and rear diffuser.
My G80 MT arrives in the next couple of weeks. I live in Cali so a front lip won’t work here, it will be gone in a week lol. Might do those side mirrors & rear defuser. Are they replacement parts or covers?
I was between m3/m4 but I’ve come around to a the coupe look after having an m440i loaner - a coupe just feels much more sporty(being lower stock/sharing similarities with m8 especially side profile). Don’t know if this helps but that’s what ultimately led me to my choice of an m4 comp xdrive.
Because g82 doesn't have aggresive rear fenders and looks like infinity G60 from the side. G80 looks x10 more aggressive because if rear hips that G82 doesn't have (unfortunately)
I’m not impressed , if it was sema car why didn’t they do it right? Carbon bucket seats, carbon ceramics, and the stock wheels look better. They in my opinion ruined what could of been a nice m3. The black is nice but the cheap front splitter looks whack, I would never put the wrong fitment on my cars. I could never half fast a build. But I guess budget is more important then presentation. You could order a g80/82 better from bmw then you can go the m performance route or Dinan or both. These guys took a 4 door and put a roll cage, I’ve had 4 door cars but never put a roll cage in it, kinda defeats the purpose. So again, what may look good on RUclips doesn’t in person. And if you have the type of taste where you want to make a car look cheap, then go with these guys. Those aren’t even real mods, mods are engine, turbos, exhaust, suspension (fully coil over) and Intakes. Here’s a perspective, get a g80/82 comp x drive, in black on black with every option. 110,000 for 2022 then go to Dinan and or carbahn, get a tune for ecu, then full exhaust. From factory you’ll have the right brakes and if you drop another 5-10k get the 21 and 20 in gold m wheels which look way better. They have orange in them which matches their interior and the ceramic brakes they are missing. Then get the m performance wing. That car would look so sick. Last thing is the mods I mentioned and it will be a 9 second car and faster then a turbo s 992. Just my 2 cents
